4/15/26 Duvet tonight at Täng Dumpling in Hershey. First impression is very positive the ambience is clean and modern. Small and larger tables and "private" dining areas for groups. Service was spectacular! (Thanks, Eren, for captaining a great dining experience.) Servers were friendly and helpful. The menu is not huge, but several dishes looked interesting. B started with Pork and chive pan fried dumplings, and I ordered Wontons in spicy peanut sauce and chili oil. Both were very good, the wontons nicely spiced. I also ordered Spicy Beijing beef, and B ordered the Spicy Tonkotsu Shoyu Ramen. This last dish was our favorite, delicious creamy broth. The ordering and check out system needs some work, and my app and entree came out reversed, but not a major problem. The restaurant was busy when we got there around 7, but mostly cleared out by 8. They are open until 9. Word of advice for locals: Go now before the Hershey season begins.

When you begin to write a 4 or 5 star Yelp review, you are prompted with "Amazing! What went well? I can honestly answer "everything". I guess it didn't start out exactly stellar. Our 10 minute wait turned into almost 30. I was with my 84 year old mother. She is the poster child for crabby old lady. My mantra when I'm visiting my parents is "peace, patience and tranquility ". Saying this over and over in my head was the only thing that kept me from grabbing the handles of her wheelchair, wheeling her through the pouring rain and then driving through McDonalds. All of this was completely forgotten the moment we were seated. The set up of the restaurant is something that I hadn't seen before. Various sizes of individual rooms, you may think private dinner but don't. It's just another table in the restaurant. There was a table that was in what looked like a bird cage. I wish I would have walked around to see what other surprises there were. As per the food - yum. I didn't order anything "weird" - anything that my mom hadn't had before. We had pan fried pork chive potstickers, creamy crab rangoon, vegetable spring rolls and creamy shrimp. Way too much food for the 2 of us? Oh my yes. Did we bring home leftovers? Not a thing. Although I did pack up a little bit, we kept picking until there was nothing left. Were we hungry? Yea. But the food was just too good to stop. The service was great. The atmosphere, like I already said - great. The prices - yep, you guessed it - great. My mom has been telling my brother about Tang Dumpling almost from the moment we got back. I'm coming up to visit in a couple of weeks. This will be the first place I bring mom. It will thrill her to no end! And as for the "peace, patience and tranquility", I'm not proud that I have to remind myself of this. I'm hoping to learn what NOT to do as I age. But when I hear my mom's voice coming out of my mouth. I'm not very hopeful...

Gorgeous ambience! Probably the nicest interior decoration in the Hershey area. It was super impressive! There are bird-cage booths and even private booth rooms for families with a little coat rack in each one with illuminated paintings and calligraphy on the walls. Really beautiful decor!! Food wise, this is the best Chinese food we've found in the area. We came for the soup dumplings but the other menu items also looked really good! We got the pork soup dumplings, lucky five soup dumplings, teriyaki ramen, fried rice cakes, crispy duck, and steamed fried pork buns. The pork soup dumplings were solid -- the skins were a bit thicker but good with true soup broth inside. The ramen was also yummy with a large portion, I liked the teriyaki chicken flavor, great texture for the fried rice cakes. I would come back! They also had some beautiful dessert and drink options which I did not have room to try but looked very pretty. Just look at those vivid colors!!! Service was also very attentive and friendly. Clean restaurant. I know I keep saying this but the decor is truly impressive!!!

Sooooo good! I loved everything we ordered. Service is an iPad on the table and you order yourself. The staff seemed friendly and helpful. The place is cute inside so anyone cooking to take photos this is the perfect place for you. The restaurant is located in kind of a strip mall with a supermarket and a TJMAXX so it's convenient to shop around. We'd definitely come back & order different things!

Great addition to Hershey! I'm a huge foodie, wasn't sure what to expect. I'm loving the aesthetic upgrades to this place, very fun vibe! music was interesting, but who goes to a restaurant for the music? We ordered the chicken potstickers, chicken Udon, the "viral" fried dough, and 6 pack of soup dumplings. Didn't love the "viral" fried dough. maybe add options for additional toppings? Was just (sorry) Tasteless fried dough, underwhelming at best. Portions are OK, but could be larger IMHO. We just stopped by to try it out, so most of the Udon came home with us. Wow! It was even better the next day!! Soup dumplings were a welcome surprise! make sure you read the directions before eating the dumplings, the soup is INSIDE!!! Honestly, I could eat the dumplings and Udon every day it was that good! Waitstaff seems pretty hands-off since I had to order and let them know we were ready for the check, etc., but were kind and accommodating when called We'll definitely be back.

For the past 20 years or so we had to take the 2hr ride to Philly to get soup dumplings. So when I seen that this place opened in Hershey I couldn't wait to try it. I've been in the previous restaurant that occupied this space in the past. Let me tell you that I know how much work they must have put in her to make it what it is today. The inside is beautiful and vibrant. Staff is very friendly. The food is great. The Raman is amazing. Soup dumplings are delicious.

Went to Tang Dumplings for the first time tonight with my husband and toddler. My husband loved his Spicy Beef Ramen and I enjoyed the Chicken and Cabbage potstickers. Our son enjoyed the ramen noodles and the scallion pancake. We can't wait to go back and try more menu items - everything so far was tasty! The staff were attentive and friendly. When my son dropped his toy or cup, the employees would jump in to pick it up and interacted with him. Smiling, high fives, asking if he liked his food - we had a great time and the interior is beautiful. They put a lot of effort into renovating this and changing the vibe from the previous restaurant. Thanks for a great first experience!

Cute little dim sum/soup and noodle joint. Nice addition for locals in the area and I can see it being a teen/young adult favorite. The ambiance was very nice and the service was stellar! We ordered scallion pancakes. The pancakes were delicious however I wasn't a huge fan of the sauce (duck) and would have preferred a simple soy based sauce. I was surprised because the website showed soy based sauce. The pancakes were crisp, warm and flaky. Not greasy and delicate. I ordered the spicy chicken ramen. It was just OK. The chicken, which came fried on the side was pretty bland but fried nicely. The broth itself was pleasant but overall a very basic ramen. It was better than Asoul Ramen at capital city but not better than issei noodles. The soup dumplings were not bad, but I go to another restaurant nearby for bao buns and soup dumplings, which has a superior filling. The dumpling dough was not easy to slurp/wasn't very soupy and the filling/dough was a little chewy and overcooked, with a premade texture to it. I would have appreciated chili sauce for the dumpling. It was nice to have ginger, soy and dark vinegar. We ordered pan fried bao buns. Dough was good, filling was a little overcooked. No sauce. I was disappointed that there was no wonton soup available which is what I originally wanted. Overall, it's a cute place but I'll stick to my usual spot in Linglestown. I think it's a great neighborhood addition, but I drove 20 miles to eat here and won't be going out of my way to come back.

My friend and I were super excited to try this place and it did not disappoint. Not only was the atmosphere and service impeccable, but the food was amazing as well. My friend ordered pork pan friend potstickers, and I ordered vegetable potstickers as an appetizer. Both of us were impressed by the flavors and presentation. We shared an order of the pork soup dumplings, which were phenomenal. Both the broth and the pork tasted just right. We also ordered boba teas which were a great sweet pairing to our savory lunch. The service here is amazing and the staff is super friendly. 100% recommend this place!

Stopped in here on a whim but was NOT disappointed. The service was fast and the employees were so friendly. They took the time to explain the menu to us since it was our first visit. The food was amazing. We had a little bit of everything (dumplings, noodles, beef and broccoli, scallion pancakes) and there was not one bad thing to say. Food is great, employees are welcoming and the decor makes you feel like you have been transported to another location. Go visit and see for yourself!

    Ramen

The restaurant is beautiful! We shared two appetizers & the Shoyu ramen. The soup dumplings herby and juicy. Pork buns light & fluffy with just enough sauce. Ramen noodles nice, not too soggy. The pork was tender & not over cooked. We will definitely be back

After three consecutive strikes in a row, I decided to give these guys a break. I Even went as far as going to the Lancaster location in hopes of a better experience. (Lancaster is not as good in my opinion) I need to drop a star because the last 3 times I came here the service was very bad. 1 of the times it wasn't even busy. People who came well after my party of 4 was seated, already had their tea, and dishes served before we were even offered water. It was my daughter's birthday lunch too, which soured the whole experience. Another time, my order was messed up and I was told that I made the mistake (even though I ordered that item nearly every week since the place opened). Dishes are hit or miss with translation. It depends on the server. There is one lady that has a huge language barrier. When it's busy, she is very careless, I believe she is part of the ownership. I do understand how overwhelming it is when they are busy, hence only 1star is being removed. I don't want to be upset over a small business owners attempt to keep everything orderly while there was clear chaos and under staffing. Overall I am only dropping it one star because their food is still filling a vast need for authentic style Chinese in our area and there are no competitors. The food has still been a good experience depending on who's in the kitchen and what day it is. I will return once the weather is warmer (I hate the seating set up because if you are by the entrance, you freeze each time the door opens) I will see if service improves.

A dim sum place in Bethlehem PA? Yes, and probably the only one afaik…read more I was up here visiting friends and they took me to try this newer place. It's small and probably less than 14 ppl can dine here at one time. Also, dim sum is ordered on a small menu. But what I had was authentic and very tasty! I had roast pork buns, corn and chicken dumplings, pork steamed rice roll, and beef noodle soup. The first three were excellent, while the beef noodle soup was unfortunately just average. The main problem with the soup was the broth was too watery imho and the noodles were too firm and tasted like instant noodles. The beef was tender and good at least. My friend had the pork soup dumplings and said they were good. I'll try those next time. She also had the shrimp wonton noodle soup and that also looked good. I tried the bok choy in the soup and the bok choy was terrific. Overall, this place is pretty legit when it comes to the dim sum, but the beef noodle soup can be skipped. But hopefully they'll improve that part. The soup is the only reason I can't give 5 stars. But it's a strong 4 to 4.5 stars at least.
