We love seeing new places in town, and I'm glad we now have honeygrow. It's a great concept to have stir-fry noodles or a salad. I enjoyed the options that could be thrown into the bowl. The vegetables and meat options were tasty. The bowl had a little kick of spice to it that we ordered, which was nice! I liked that we could order at a kiosk though it was a little cramped and was pretty busy. However, good seating options and the pricing isn't bad for a fast food chain. They just made a new plaza by my gym, which is also by my work. I go to the gym after work, and I've been looking for a nice healthy place to go whenever I don't feel like cooking. I've been eyeing this place up for a while. Needless to say, it's Friday night, I ain't got nothing to do, and I decided to pop on over. I got myself the shawarma stir fry, and I've gotta say I really liked it. It had just the perfect amount of spice, and I added some extra tzatziki on there which was a great touch. Not much else to add about the quality -- solid ingredients and overall good flavor. I would definitely come back after the gym, especially when I'm watching my weight. Overall, it's a good establishment. The only thing I'll mention -- and I'm not sure if it's because they're still getting used to running the place since it just opened, or if this is just how the setup works -- is that it felt considerably slower than expected. You kind of expect a Subway or Chipotle-style experience where everything moves quickly, but it took about 20 minutes for my dish. I assumed they'd have everything ready to go and just throw ingredients together, but that didn't seem to be the case. I also noticed they were taking a while with multiple orders, and at one point a table of four didn't get their food all at once -- it came out individually as each item was finished. So that's probably the main thing to be aware of. That said, if you're looking for something on the healthier side, I'd definitely recommend giving this place a try. read more

I visited the new honeygrow during their preview day. The staff was all friendly and helpful. I had never been to a location before and the explained how everything worked. I made a chicken Caesar salad and ordered the Sesame Garlic Stir Fry. My kids devoured the stir fry before even had a chance to try it... so it's definitely kid approved! We visited the new location in Mechanicsburg. The food was really good, but the portions were on the small size for the price. Two stir fries with one dessert was $42 with tip. The staff though was terrific. Very friendly and welcoming. They definitely made our first time experience delightful. The store was bright and clean. It would be a great place for a quick bite while meeting with friends. There's not much privacy, so I wouldn't use it as an intimate setting, but it would be a great place for good food in a fun setting. read more

Stopped by Honeygrow and tried the Garlic Butter Chicken--fresh egg white noodles with roasted chicken, snow peas, scallions, mushrooms, toasted sesame seeds, chili crisps, and a rich garlic butter sauce. I also had the Pomodorini Focaccia, which was perfectly seasoned with tomato and Italian herbs, along with a Strawberry Guava Lemonade--a refreshing blend of lemon, guava, and strawberry. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful. The only downside was that ordering was a bit confusing at first, but an employee explained that you have to use the kiosk. read more

Something different than the normal fast food or noodles. Delicious! And fast! Easy online ordering. We've tried multiple of the stir fry noodles - perfect amount of spice, can customize anything too which is very nice! We don't normally get dessert but the dessert bowls are next level awesome. The apple streusel one is the best!! We will be back often. read more

I love when food is put on the mobile rack while you're sitting waiting without a word being said. I got here early. Called out 3 other orders two ladies and a gentlemen. Waiting patiently. Had to order through a kiosk. Long wait for two orders of garlic shrimp stir fry. Meals were overloaded with teriyaki type sauce and chili topping. I didn't enjoy the first thing I had ordered and they felt that my experience being anything less than I'm assuming akin to Christmas morning was unacceptable, and so brought me an entirely new dish, which was flipping DELICIOUS. Honestly one of the worst food experiences I have had. EXTREMELY overpriced given that my meal was 90% noodles. There was hardly any sauce or toppings. I'm unquestionably NOT in their target market. So many things came out wrong in this my first visit, that I will not return. It's a very complicated way of doing business, with a touchscreen kiosk that requires guided training from a staff member, lest you're charged for six drinks you didn't consciously order - this DID happen to us today, praise God i caught it before paying. So complicated that by the time we got the two drinks that we DID order (actuallybone, since we never found thecsmart water and settled fir something else) we knew we were headed for trouble. The food was bland and, when we offered to buy additional sauce, i was told that I got what I ordered (which was the default for the curry coconut menu offering - THE ONLY BUTTON I TOUCHED!) The one saving grace was the quality of the staff efforts to train me how to order. All I wanted was lunch! Yet the kiosk process starts by asking for your name, phone and email, without which you can't get your the menu! SMH. I'm a dinosaur; I don't belong here. Good luck ironing out the kinks! read more

Had the Garlic Butter Shrimp. Not sure that I would really classify it as stir fry, but - assuming it fits into that broad classification - it was the worst stir fry I have ever had. In fact, it is in the running for the worst meal I have had in 60+ years on the planet. The noodles were anything but fresh and had a microwave chewiness texture saturated in the greasy "sauce." The "roasted" shrimp was limp, greasy, and undercooked. I am confident that there was a single, flat, greasy snow pea sliced and bunched to one side, and there was a total of two slices of mushroom (one very large and one very small) bunched on the other side. The sesame seeds were not toasted and appeared to have been added after cooking. Unlike photo shown on the menu, about a tablespoon of seasoning was clumped in the middle of the dish. Given the segregation of the ingredients, there was no stir whatsoever in this fry - everything was clumped piecemeal and, certainly, not stirred together over heat. I keep referring to everything being greasy, and, while I understand that there was supposed to be a garlic butter sauce, the "sauce" was just greasy with diced raw garlic. I am about to smoke a cigar just to get the taste out of my mouth! No second chance for this one! read more
