I booked a last minute 90 minute massage for $180. I had to pre-pay which was fine but when it was over, i asked the massage therapist for change of a $50 bill. She told me she deserved $50 and didn't have change. she finally found $10, after telling me a story about how expensive it was to run this space. I always tip 20% which would have been about $35. she would not give me the $5 back. I felt taken ...not good! read more

Been coming here for over a year. It's been great but whatever new personnel or rule changes they did are terrible. They now ask for money upfront, the woman didn't know how to massage at all, complained when I asked to go deeper that she was tired, and then upcharged me after I cut it off after 30 mins. Website pricing isn't valid - they seem to be making it up now as it's not shown on site. Either she tried to make money off me or the prices have sky rocketed. I'm so bummed because this used to be my favorite place to go, but I wouldn't risk going there anymore. UPDATE: Woke up next morning and can't move my neck. read more

The first time I visited the massage was great. Second time the massage lady was rude and the massage was not great at all. When I asked her to put more pressure, she got annoyed. She also demanded I paid $60 instead of $55 like it said ob the board. She told me it was to cover the credit card fee which those are only 3% normally and not almost 10%! I came here twice after making an appointment. The first time no one was here and I waited 15 min and called, I was told no one was coming because they were at their other place. Today I gave them another chance. Made an appointment yesterday for 2:30 today, showed up and the woman said she is busy with another client. They didn't know I had an appointment and kicked me out as they didn't have the staff. Poor business, poor staff with no English and the owner speaks English and would not help solve this. The massage was good, and I appreciate their long opening hours. However, the pricing on their website is completely out of date, and they make you pay up front, which I've never been asked to do at any other spa ever. When I finished my massage and attempted to tip 20%, I was told that there was a minimum tip of $20. I found this somewhat rude and deceptive. Tip is supposed to be voluntary, and this "mandatory" tip was never disclosed upfront. Just know what you are getting into before visiting. I won't be coming back, as I don't like supporting businesses that deceive their customers. read more

Worst place ever... please don't waste your time or money. After forcing me to pay upfront, $80 for a 1 hr unlicensed massage (typically pay $50-$55 for similar service), plus $7 for tax using a cc... $87... she wanted me to sign and tip upfront too. I told her I would sign after... she left the cc and sales slip in the room, but after the massage she took it to the front desk for me to sign in front of her after the massage... more on this in a moment. Back to the massage... I told the woman I had bad pain and wanted her to focus on my neck and feet. She never did. She also never turned me face up for the entire hour. The massage was the worst ever. Not helpful and completely overpriced. I walked in and out with the same pains unaddressed. So I get dressed and walk out to sign for my overpriced massage thinking "I'll never come back" and she hovered over me when I wrote in the tip. The previous week I had a great massage elsewhere and tipped about 50%. This one I felt like I was ripped off and didn't want to tip at all, which isn't my style so I gave 20%... WELL... she looked at me and said, "no, sorry, more please!" WTH! I argued with her over google translate and told her that she didn't even address the areas I asked her to... and she said "the boss doesn't let us do neck and feet without charging extra!" She wouldn't let me go without giving her a bigger tip... so here's my tip to whoever has read this far.... Please save yourself the embarrassment and the shitty service and go across the street... they are way nicer, and way better!!!! read more

I cannot say enough nice things about Mary and Lisa (massage therapists). I followed Mary from her office in Astoria to this one because she's that great. Been going to her for years and she is a gem. Both her and Lisa are so professional and kind and really listens to what your body needs. I've been looking to get a massage since Covid hit and assumed everywhere was closed but after walking by the other day I noticed it was open and decided to come that night. The spa itself is quaint, but it was one of the most relaxing massages I've had in ages. The woman who did the massage applied perfect pressure where needed and was able to get out all the knots that have built up since my last massage. Stumbled upon this place and was weary to go here since the entrance is on the second floor and not much appeal. Im very happy that I gave this place a try. The place was very relaxing and clean.
