Buying alllllllll the toys, clean and well-organized - this teacher found great non-candy incentives for her students this year!

I'm visiting long island from baltimore and was taken to Savers by my hosts. Very impressed! Found lots of games and small toys for my classroom- literally filled an entire cart with games costing 1-3$ but would normally cost 15$ in kohl's or Walmart. I did open the games and they had most if not all the game pieces. Popular games like connect four and some I hadn't heard of but I thought would be popular w my students. The cart full cost maybe 60$. In a family of four this would easily have been an amazing shopping trip for Christmas! Anyway I also scored two long fur coats, one has leather on the outside and fur inside: 40$! And the other 30$, I found a red trench coat in New condition for 15$ and everything was 30% off because of the coupon I had! So fur coat was27, the other fur was 20, and trench was 10$. All in all I spent 160$ total w my friends and we saved 66$ due to our coupon. Monday: labor day is 50% off!

I loveee thrift stores so when I heard that they opened up a Savers a mere 1.6 miles from my apartment, I had to check it out. Cleanest thrift store I've ever seen in my life-- and it's huge! The clothes are organized by type (Women's Tank Tops, Blouses, etc.) but THEN they're organized in that category by color! Making the whole aisle look like a rainbow that I was more than happy to sift through. Everything was hung very neatly and the clothes don't smell like death. Prices are very appropriate. +1 for that... because there's nothing worse than shopping at an overpriced thrift store.

They're rude and nasty here. Not Quarantine friendly and items not cleaned for COVID.

That's where consignment shops such as this one come in. Items ranging from "as is" condition, through "pristine" and even "new with tags" can be found here! Thrifting has gained immense popularity in recent years. Besides being great for the environment, it's great for folks like myself (on a budget!). The store is neat and tidy. The customer service, outstanding. Besides their online presence, this brand has brick and mortar stores nationwide. If you're looking for a special occasion gift or looking to treat yourself, stop by. Your pockets will thank you!

It's a decent way to get rid of some designer items. They list your items for you and will send you…read morea check as soon as it sells. However, they intentionally price items much lower than their value and also keep a larger comission with the intent of selling the items in 30 days. They are so picky in what they take that it's just not often worth it to bring in items. The waits are long and I do have issues with trusting them since they insist on leaving items over night (for several days at a time). They would often not take things in nearly new/mint condition. Be wary of any promotions they send you. There are so many restrictions on each one. However, they do not tell you the restrictions before hand. IG: QueenOfAdventureNYC
