I have enjoyed shopping at Tanger Outlet in Texas City. We can shop local but the variety of stores and convenience is outstanding. Recently I went and shopped. The clerk advised me of a promotion and I saved big $$$$$. The mall is new, well organized, safe, great service and prices. read more

Been here many times. I like how well it is kept up, cleanliness wise. The customer service rep in the service area really helped me out when I forgot my Tanger card at home. I love the deals at Ann Taylor and Van Huessen! Definitely will be back before the holiday season is over! read more

I go there for the J crew and Under Armor. Lots of deals. Wish there were more options in the food court. But did you really come to eat. I go to Buc-ee's that is right there at the entrance and get a hot dog and big Icee. The refuel at the Starbucks. The onething I siwh they would add it those big tent like covers over the middle to sheild the sun and rain out. read more

The stores have good discounts but it is always disappointing because they typically won't accept the outlet coupons or the military discounts. read more

Love coming here even though it's a drive. I didn't necessarily want to complain about the mall but a particular store I visited about a month or two ago & that is Claire's. The outlet mall is obviously worth the distance though! I came here and decided to spontaneously pierce my ear (cartilage) because I have been wanting to do so but never came around to it. I understand the terms, store procedures, pain, and everything that comes along with it since I've done my research on it before. The ladies in there were absolutely wonderful and made me feel extremely comfortable. I trusted the lady that claimed to have prior experience in these things and I didn't doubt her for a minute. All went fine, got my piercing, and went about my day. I've taken care of it, cleansed it, followed all instructions to have it not get infected. I realized this about a month ago that she pierced it waaaaay too close to the tip of my ear to where you can see and feel the entire earring because it was practically popping out of my skin. Idk how to explain it too well, but think of it this way, if I were to get my shirt caught up in it, then it would rip that part of my ear right off. It was a pricy procedure and I am disappointed that it turned out this way. Again, amazing customer service, but just not satisfied with the result of the piercing. read more

Overall mall is great but don't shop at Booskies!! Clothes fall apart and they do not exchange or give credit!! I won't shop there again.

This mall has a lot of stores but the area is ghetto and dangerous. I only came out there because I used to work there, on top of it my phone never worked because there was never any reception. Someone once came into the stockroom and stole our credit cards and ID's. The mall security is horrible and does not care what has happened to you. Ever since I left that job I have never gone back to that area since. The food court was a huge disappointment, the only decent place to eat was Starbucks but it was always jammed packed. If this mall was in a different part of the Houston area it wouldn't be so bad. read more

I've been here a couple of times when I'm looking for something specific and haven't been disappointed. I love the Coach, Under Armour, Guess and Max Studio stores. The only reason for 4 stars is the poor selection of foods available at the food court and the outdoor mall idea which I personally loathe. I know many malls nationwide are converting to outdoor malls and no review will change that, I just personally dislike it. Nothing like Houston 100 degree heat in the middle of July and no air-conditioning. Why would I spend my money that way when I have a choice not to? Either way, decent selection of stores and I will be back, just not during summer. read more

I have shopped at Tanger outlet a few times since it opened I have to say it isnt my favorite place to go simply because the prices do not depict your typical outlet pricing its more like shopping at the regular stores in baybrook or katy mills malls. Only very few stores have somewhat decent deals such as carters...childrens place... and the disney store (when they have the merchandise you are looking for). I have never had a bad experience here and the customer service is always good.. but with that being said i can go to other stores and get that and get better deals.. id rather spend my money on necessities than 75$ for one shirt... thanks but no thnaks read more

I love this outlet! You don't have to go on a holiday to receive good prices even in the higher end stores. I'm a Tanger Club member, which i recommend to everyone that way you can get your free coupon booklet and save even more, so I get even BETTER deals than just what the stores offer but what Tanger can offer also. I'll keep coming back, and saving money while spending more. Definitely a place where you will get a bang for your buck and even a free duck! read more

I always enjoy my visit to the outlets. They have everything I need and there are always good deals. The place is never crowded and is outside the big city so it feels very relaxing. I buy a coffee at Starbucks and drink it watching the fields and trees. Very relaxing, I love it! read more

It was my first visit to this Tanger Outlets location. On the plus side, it was easy to get to, well laid out, and although it was an al fresco design, there was plenty of coverage from the sun. I liked the array of stores and found some pretty good deals, which is the point of shopping at an outlet center. What I did not like was I was bombarded with advertisements to get a Pink Card for $5, which would go to support Breast Cancer Research. For the entire month of October, at participating stores listed in the brochure, I would get 25% off ANY single item. This was what was written in the brochure. Needless to say, when I went to redeem this offer, 25% off ANY item was not the case at all stores, particularly the Kay jewelry, which is why I purchased it. The advertisement was not accurate, and it was not a stellar shopping experience because of this. read more

If you want to buy expensive items you can probably get good deals, but the stores I went to had the same prices as the regular stores I shop in. I get the coupons from Tanger, but next time I will pay more attention. I used one at Dress Barn, which they took, but didn't apply it when checking me out. When I got home and saw my receipt I wasn't pleased. it's too far away to go back and tell them about it. read more
