The food was delicious & they have lots of great healthy options. They advertise they are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. When we arrived around 6:45pm they let's us know that the dining area had closed at 6:30, which was fine we were staying at the hotel next door so we did carry out. Unfortunately the employees all acted annoyed when we entered and reacted the same way as the other 2 groups behind us entered. The attitude of the employees felt like they didn't want people there, maybe they were closing? They were mopping around my husband and just acted put off. Hooooooollllyyyyyyyyyy smokes- this cute local eatery blew our expectations out of the water Wanted to stop somewhere while traveling to Moab, and the Tangerine sign caught our eye. I can't recommend the Berry Granola Salad w/ avocado enough. The quality was SO fresh, the portion was perfectly filling for a hungry gal like myself, and the taste was beyond amazing. Price is a perfect stop between the SLC area and Moab, but I hate having to eat typical fast food and feeling gross on a road trip. I'm so glad there is a fast, real food option! The food was good. $9 seemed pricey for an average sized sandwich (on cibata bread) but when I saw how much was on the sandwich I was pleased. It was very filling! I had the Italian and my husband had turkey and cranberry. Both were good. So was the red pepper gouda soup. The girl taking orders was very nice and friendly, greeted us as soon as we came in and helped us with our order. The sandwiches were very good, although a little small. My partner had chips for his side, the portion was small and he didn't care for the chips. A better quality chip would be better. After going to college and living in price I was passing through town to salt lake one night when I saw Tangerine Eatery. When I walked in the modern look to the building took me by surprise. The interior design was so well done. The modern seating and USB phone chargers located throughout the building are amazing. I had the Cubans, and to say it's the best sandwich I've ever had is cliche. But this is as the best Cubano I have ever had. It was cooked to perfection and seasoned perfectly. I was able to get a cup of yogurt for free due to happy hour. My girlfriend is born and raised in New Jersey. Since being in Utah she tries an Philly cheese she can. With much struggle, she said her philly cheese was the best she has ever had. She said the cream cheese is unique to the philly cheese but made it the best she has ever had. Highly recommend this extremely healthy and tasty place to stop. It's a must for anyone passing through town. read more

What a ray of sunshine this place was, including the kind and helpful young man at the register! I was unfamiliar with the area, just passing through on a road trip, and didn't expect to find much gluten-free food. So I was delighted to discover that every sandwich or wrap here could be made in a GF tortilla. My breakfast wrap was incredible (something GF people rarely get to say). My side of berries was perfectly fresh (also rare). They even offered free WiFi and little samples of their many frozen yogurt flavors. While I get that they focus on providing healthy choices, I wish they had a few normal flavors without artificial sweeteners. I'm a huge fan of frozen yogurt, but their flavors just left bad aftertastes. Which is super disappointing considering this is the ONLY place nearby with froyo. At least the food is great! UPDATE I have been back a few times and the yogurt is better! I recommend the breakfast menu as much as the lunch menu. For breakfast, try the South of the border wrap. Honestly, Tangerine has become a staple for me. I eat there at least 2-3 a month. I recommend the chicken, bacon, avocado wrap. They're always consistently good and that's why keep coming back! They do chips as a side but it's not much more to replace them with a salad and their house salad is delicious or you can choose a signature salad which are all sooo good! read more

I accidentally left my purse and didn't notice until I stopped for gas 2 hours later. The owner helped me make arrangements to get my purse back the next day. This is above and beyond service. Max is a gem who shares his great energy with you, gave us a rundown of the menu and samples of the soups and froyo. We both went with his suggestion and both were really happy with the quality of the food. This place is healthy in that the food is made with fresh and natural ingredients - it's not bland, fat free, whatever. It's just nutritious, flavorful, and food you can feel great about. What a nice surprise to find this place to eat passing through this small town. I had a delicious chicken sandwich. The chicken was moist and tender. The bread tasted fresh and the sauce was flavorful. Hubby had a chicken salad he added to the meal and it was so large he ended up having just the salad for lunch. It was very satisfying. Overall it was Ok, definitely better than Subway but not as good as Jimmy John's, Quizno's, or Jersey Mike's. Kind of pricey at $10 for what you get. I was the only person in the restaurant at 6:30pm which was weird. Kind of the theme of Price / Carbon County restaurants is staff that aren't friendly and just don't care. The sauce in the rap was wonderful and the chicken was delicious as well. The staff member was friendly and welcoming and the place looked clean. What a nice surprise in Price! Modern style eatery where you pay first then sit down. I had the grilled portobello wrap and it was delicious! The portobello had a flavorful balsamic marinade. It also came with a choice of soup or salad. I had the creamy chicken and wild rice. My boyfriend had the Cubano sandwich, that was recommended by a fellow yelper. They were spot on, the Cubano was amazing! Tangerine is open 7 days a week and we will definitely come again next time we are in the area! read more
