Pretty disappointed with my experience here. I could tell that the stylist was new, which is not at all a problem, BUT absolutely no color change occurred. She had left a few times to consult another stylist for questions/advice, but even after doing so I didn't get the results I wanted. For 3 hours in a chair, spending over $200 and no results... I wouldn't go back. I read many reviews and was so excited to try this salon out. I will say that it's a cute, cozy atmosphere with really good vibes! read more

This is a hard one to review! Haircut was kind of last minute - scheduled about a week out - and got put with a protege. I didn't think to ask if the person had experience with wavy hair. Not sure if I should need to ask? Anyways. It was not someone I'd go back to. I'd go back to this salon maybe. The only other weird thing was the super strong chemical smell - had to step outside at one point. Can't imagine what that does to people who work there. Overall, haircut wasn't that great. Stylist made some odd comments about non straight hair. If you go here - just make sure the stylist can manage your hair. read more

Getting your hair done during COVID is a completely new experience with an entire new set of safety measures! I'm so excited to say not only was the salon and staff able to provide wonderful quality customer service, but they were also able to make me feel safe! Only allowing a select number of people in at a time, using every other washing station, and requiring masks for everyone! Aubrey did a cut and color on my hair and it turned out amazing! I showed her a few pictures and talked her through what I liked about them for my hair and she nailed it! I'll definitely be going back! We forgot to take a before and after picture but I have included a selfie from the day she did my hair! I have visited the Allen location twice now, and both times have been fabulous. I get a hair cut and style with Ashley, and she is great! She has great attention to detail and really cares about you and what you want done. I have never felt like she was rushing through to get the day done, in fact you can tell she enjoys what she's doing. The rest of the staff is extremely friendly and make sure that you're comfortable. The salon is very clean and relaxing to be in. Overall a very pleasant experience, can't wait to go back! read more

Very easy online booking, never have to wait long, and the most friendly staff that offers hot drinks, cold drinks and even chocolate on occasion. Nicole always listens and cuts my hair according to a picture shown and talking about what it is that I am looking for. I have curly hair although I wear it straight and she gets it right every time with a quality cut and the smoothest blowout ever. Really hate the result of my haircut. I asked for a long bob, shoulder length look and instead- I got a short bob and my hair is probably two inches above my shoulder. The stylist even said "I think I cut too much than what you asked for." The more I look in the mirror, the more I hate it. Also, the hair stylist stabbed me with his scissors in the neck once and while he was cutting the back, I legitimately heard him say "oops"...at that moment, I knew I most likely wouldn't be coming back. I didn't get any kind of a itemized receipt so I cannot figure out how getting my roots done and some highlights came to $370 and I didn't even get a haircut. Extremely unprofessional. I went there for an appointment for Keratin hair treatment and they had to book my appointment that was 2 months out. I waited for nearly 2 months when they cancelled my appointment 1 week prior to my appointment date citing stylist issues. They rescheduled it to August 11 and then cancelled it again 4 days before that, again citing stylist issues. I wonder why could they not get me other stylist when they already canceled my appointment earlier. I had taken time-off on both my appointment days and wasted on them. I wish I had booked some other Salon's service and would have gotten my hair treatment months ago! I would not recommend them at all. read more

LOVED IT HERE! I cannot recommend Tangerine salon enough! It's very nice inside and their services are wonderful. My stylist was Aubrey and she absolutely nailed my hair transformation! She was also so friendly and enjoyable to talk to. Before visiting Tangerine, I had never done anything with my hair. Aubrey was so helpful in listening to what I wanted and recommending ideas! In my appointment we did a haircut, balayage and added color, all of these services were very reasonably priced for the outstanding quality. Overall my experience here was absolutely amazing. Unfortunately, Kylie is at location about 45 mins away so I decided to try a stylist at the Allen location which is much closer. My stylist was Kali and she was awesome!
