I looked in the mirror and saw an inch of roots that had grown out. How had I gone so long between hair colorings? The growth from my head was silently mocking me. My birthday was 4 days away and I desperately needed highlights and a trim. I looked to good ole yelp for my "hair emergency". Luck would have it that a new salon had opened. When you walk in you see a clean sleek look of a freshly new salon. It had been open for only a few weeks. It's absolutely pristine. I was greeted by two smiling faces. The owners are a mother/daughter team. T (Teri the mom) and C (Christina the daughter) Salon. Between the two ladies you have over 20 years of styling expertise. The services I received was a full set of foil highlights and a trim. My color was sheer perfection. My highlights were amazing and the hair color was just what I was hoping for. I went in for a color and cut. Terry was good with giving me a haircut and color however after she washed my hair, she handed me a towel to dry my hair myself and a blow dryer and told me to blow dry my hair "outside the salon". Yes OUTSIDE RHE SALON door, in the middle of the plaza with other stores around. At first I thought it was some kind of a joke or prank but she was serious. I was so embarrassed blow drying my own hair outside the salon. I have never been so mistreated at a salon, this was highly unprofessional and wrong on so many levels. I will never come here because of this incident. I still payed for everything and tipped even though I was so upset about it. I told her I don't want to blow dry in the middle of nowhere, and left straight home. I only wanted the color if there was olaplex used but Terry went ahead without using that product. read more

I was desperate for a last minute hair cut with no where to go until I found this place! Terry was AMAZING. I just showed her one picture & she nailed it in 30 minutes. I was blown away. I am so displeased with my service. I asked for a shoulder length cut and got a chin length cut. We discussed her taking off one inch and she took of about 5. Then when she was finished I told her it was much shorter than we talked about and she told me it was my fault, because I have fine hair. The picture is off thick hair. Excuse me but what does thickness have to do with length. In my opinion if she could not do the cut, that is something she should have told me before hand. I will NEVER GO BACK. read more

I wish there were negative stars..... I went for a haircut today and asked for a layered cut and said the length should be just below the shoulder. The lady( old woman) never listened or understood the actual requirements , cut the hair short and above the shoulder length. She never bothered to ask me the hair length and did a straight cut and when asked she said I asked for straight haircut..... This is the worst haircut I have had till date and would NOT recommend this place for Women ..... If you still want to experiment ..... Good Luck! read more

WOW!! Terry did an amazing job on my daughter's hair. My 10 year old has thick, wavy, difficult to cut hair, and Terry didn't even wince when we told her we wanted an angled bob. She went to town on my daughter and the results exceeded my expectations. She made sure to take her time and was constantly double-checking her work to make sure everything was neat and even. The salon itself was clean and both Terry and Christina seemed very friendly. Oh!! And the prices were very reasonable!! My grandmother got her hair cut by Terry & was pleasantly pleased. She came in asking for a "stack" haircut and showed photos and explained what she wanted. Even though later that day (after fixing her hair at home) my grandmother wasn't content with the amount of hair left over her ears, Terry was happy to re-cut the area when we returned back to the salon! She was super nice about it and made sure that it was to my grandmas liking. I have followed Christina around when she was doing hair at another Salon, but now that she has her independent Salon the service has sky-rocketed. I have difficult hair (thick stubborn latin hair), but she always know exactly how to cut it and style it so that I look both professional at work (physician) and when I go out. I actually drive out 45 minutes from downtown to go get my haircut here. I have never had a better haircut, and Christina is really helpful with helping me find the right product for my hair. Did not wash hair before cut and barely spritzed with water before jumping right in and cutting hair. Was only wanting a trim and add in some layers. I have dark blonde, super thin hair and wear it in a spring bob. We just relocated to the area and I was in desperate need of a cut. Terri did a FABULOUS job! I will admit that I was a nervous wreck during the cutting but it turned out great. I've never had it cut using the type of shears/blade/thinning thing that she used and she cut it dry which also make me excessively nervous. But I am super happy and the price is also great! She looked at my pictures from my last cut (I took pics as I knew we were moving) and listened to the concerns I had and how to tailor.
