Tango Brew is a mixed purpose bar that serves up coffee, wine, gelato, and small bites near the University of Tampa. We went in just expecting your typical coffee shop experience, but it seems their bar business is their wheelhouse, as most people were socializing and having alcoholic beverages. Service was friendly, but caffeinated drinks with any sort of flavor were on the expensive side, as large iced latte with flavor was over $10. They didn't have any visible menu prices for their caffeinated beverages, and the girl working there even made a comment about how she doesn't set the prices, which came off as a little awkward. Regardless, the iced latte (3/5) I had was average at best. It may be an ok local option for those living in the adjacent residential complex, but underwhelming and overpriced makes Tango Brew the kind of place I wouldn't return to or recommend to others looking for coffee in the Hyde Park neighborhood of Tampa.

    Argentina vs. Jordan Game

We came here for the Argentina vs. Jordan game. The Choripans were OK, but the empanadas were excellent. The owners left around 10:40 PM and the AC was turned off. The place was a hot mess while watching the second half of the game.

I pass this spot often and finally had time to visit, on a Saturday morning at first opening. The ambiance is very art deco and cozy for coffee or drinks. My barista was very nice and offered great suggestions. I tried the boba tea. What I enjoyed is that I was able to make changes to my flavors and I added the hibiscus flavor. I will definitely come again when I have more time. Loved the music, vibe, and options of both outside or inside seating. I see why this hidden gem is very popular,

Tango Brew 608 N Willow Ave A100, Tampa, FL 33606 @tangobrewtampa At Tango Brew, their mission is simple: to bring joy in every cup and glass. They believe that coffee and wine is more than just a beverage - it is a source of comfort, connection, and happiness. It is a small indulgence that has the power to brighten someone's day, to provide a moment of tranquility in a busy world. If you're the kind of person that wants a place to unwind and relax or simply just sip a cup of wine or coffee or want to drink a cold one and relax with friends, then Tango Brew is your place. It's a great place to come in and enjoy. They serve breakfast, lunch , and dinner. Located in the corner of Cass St and Willow Ave. The staff is ready to welcome you in. What I had: 1) Clasico Charcuterie 2) Flatbread 3) Flight of Wine ( Argentina and Italian)

Great service and atmosphere. I got the strawberry matcha and plant based egg and cheese bagel breakfast sandwich. Prices are $10 and under for breakfast and they have plenty of plant based options.

Nice new bar in North Hyde Park. Good vibe - it gets a little warm inside hopefully they get a stronger ac as they grow. I like the medialuna and the empanadas. Today I had ham and cheese and it was good. Good wine selection, could add some more craft beer options. Some tvs to catch the game and chill staff. Recommend checking out.

Terrible experience. Waitress clearly didn't get my friend's order in and tried to act like they were having kitchen / oven issues for making fries and wings. Wings came out lukewarm like off a heating tray. Food was meh, good space, but they didn't even offer to take the wings and / or fries off for my friend after the terrible service. We will be sure to NOT recommend this to friends and family, as we would not want them to suffer like we did. Would give 0**** if possible.

Recently opened. The medialunas were cooked to perfection and the dulce de leche was authentic. The coffee was delicious and it's fun to have a dulce de leche late. The ambience is also very nice. It's open and friendly. The service deserves grace because they are a new business but there are things to improve... overall, I will come back once they have been open for a little longer.

They do not have matcha. 3. They do not have food. These days coffee makes my body feel weirddddd so I was a bit staggered when I walked in and realized those 3 things since I was here with a bike group and I really needed some food. I considered having coffee anyway but without food and being on a 15+ mile bike ride, I wasn't trying to have a medical episode so I decided to try their chai tea latte. It was truly delicious!! It got me home and able to eat so thank god for that! Some of the rest of my party got the herbal tea and the way it was served was super cool. It had me intrigued. But if you like coffee, everyone said it was delicious. The fact that they have a latte on draft is pretty amazing as well. I loved the location because it's kind of ducked off in the corner which is why I had never been there before. But above all else, the amount of pups here were enough to make me return time and time again. I met the cutest greyhounds which are my fav so my soul was happy.

They gave me the wrong latte which actually tasted really good (I didn't even realize they did) but then was given the latte I ordered and it tasted burnt. Honestly, the whole experience just kept getting worse and the customer service isn't amazing (I'm not a picky person about customer service). Rather just go to a coffee shop that is less complicated. This place is super cute though so if you need IG pics definitely give it a try.

However - this place is killer. I've tried several lattes and the cold brew, and they are phenomenal. Inside this winding housing development, you'll find a small shopping plaza-gasoline on one end, dry cleaners on the other... and in between those bookends, a string of small businesses. And behind the door with all the flowers around it: Perfect Press Coffee. It's a hopping and popping kind of place. I've been there twice in the last year-and it's busy. It's a fun mix of neighborhood moms with strollers-people stopping on the way to or from work-and a few remote work workers-who thrive in the happy buzz of a booming business. To the right when you walk in: coffee, tea and sweet and/or savory small bites. There's bench seating along the wall, several small tables and two little couches in the middle. The decor is cute, cozy, modern and slightly caffeinated. It's not a huge place but it's super popular. There are tables out front on the sidewalk, too. It's busy, but the skilled baristas keep things moving. On this most recent trip, I tried the ube matcha-my first. I liked it! There were lots of tempting pastries, etc-but I had a lunch date coming up, so I stuck to just the beverage. If you decide to stop in, bonus: this business shares space with a fun kitchen store that has everything from gourmet salts and oils-fun towels and mugs-and all sorts of other items. I should have bought the cola flavored candy bar. Next time! Yes, the parking lot is a little hectic-but be patient, it comes and goes in waves-you'll get a spot. Oh! And really nice restrooms. This is worth a stop and shop. I'll be back for round three.
