#Fantastic!! Highly recommend!! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Atmosphere was very nice and you can eat outside or inside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The staff is very nice, the owner was here when I arrived. Had a nice chat with her. The food was fantastic exactly what I wanted lots of choices. Thank you for great service.

Turkey in the Slaw. Not recommended. See review for why.

This is the relocated space formally occupied by Holy Hog BBQ. The inside layout has been reconfigured but the outside seating remains the same, perfect for nice days. I had eaten at the former hole-in-the-wall location so was excited to see how they did in their new space. You order at the register and for takeout they call your name or for eat-in they give you a # and bring the food to your table. You grab your fountain beverage (different choices include Mr. Pibb, along with Mello Yello) which can readily be refilled near the kitchen entrance. This visit I tried the Turkey in the Slaw sandwich, since this is normally one of my favorite styles. Moxie's misses the mark here with hard cuban type bread that doesn't work with this sandwich type. The sandwich has virtually no flavor and the cole slaw was too runny leaving a pool on the plate. I went with the option to add a fountain drink and one side for $3.99. This brought my lunch total to $15 plus tax + tip. Thought this was a bit high for lunch, but this is Downtown Tampa where rents are higher. My friend tried a harvest salad with chicken. Liked the walnuts and cranberries to spruce up the taste. This one is recommended for those rabbits that like salad. I will try this place again, especially since I try to support restaurants in the center part of Tampa! Parking can be challenging here since street parking is limited and $2.50/hour. Garages are available but not very close and an additional expense. Best to visit when you're already downtown for something else, or have someone to run in to grab a to-go order to eat at Jillian B Lane park with a nice view of Hillsborough River (about five minutes by car).

    Philly Cheesesteak

I recently visited Moxies with a co-worker for lunch and tried the Philly Cheesesteak. This was a quality sandwich with a soft toasted bun filled with meaty steak and gooey cheese. Overall, we had a good experience.

It has a cool atmosphere with indoor and outdoor seating. Very friendly staff and efficient service. They have multiple laminated menus available in obvious places so it is clear how to order. I would say the only "negative" is they close early so you may not have a chance to know how good it is. I'm usually downtown in the evening/night so I definitely want to make time to go back here one afternoon. I only tried one thing so I have to try the food next time. But that one thing, the s'mores frozen coffee, was really great! I love frappes/blended frozen coffee but few places outside of Starbucks offer it, & even fewer places actually make it correctly. Sometimes it's too watery, sometimes it's too frozen, and sometimes the coffee just isn't good. Moxies is one of few places that gets everything right with the frozen coffee. It was blended and balanced perfectly and it actually tasted like s'mores. I look forward to trying other flavors.

This is a quaint little lunch place in downtown Tampa. I have only had coffee here, however, it is very good. This time I had 2 pumps of vanilla and a pump of pumpkin spice with non fat milk, extra hot You can eat or drink inside or outside. Masks are required inside unless you are seated.

Fantastic breakfast! Had a gluten free breakfast melt, (so excited to see GF on the menu ) but forgot to take a picture of it. Was too hungry and ate it before I realized I didn't snap a pic My husband had the Nova salmon bagel which was big portion and he said was good. Super friendly, helpful and quick service. Would highly recommend and easily come back!

Buffalo Chicken Wrap, Iced White Mocha Latte
    Maria C.

Due to Moxie's being out of the coleslaw after a busy week, I opted for the buffalo chicken wrap. The chicken is delicious, though the rest of the ingredients were lacking. The white mocha latte is good but nothing unique. I would have tried something more unique to their store but they were understandably out of some items. Everything was tasty for a quick lunch, though overall was a bit underwhelmed this visit but definitely willing to try again when the more popular items are back in stock.

Moxie Cafe & Caterer is located in the heart of downtown Tampa and easy to find with its black and white canopy facing North Tampa Street. This was a dine -in breakfast experience where we were quickly greeted by two friendly employees. Ordering at the counter was quickly and easy and the food came out of the kitchen super fast. Moxies offers handcrafted lattes, local beers, wine & more. If your looking for a cool spot to to meet up with some friends, colleagues or even a date night, Moxies' will absolutely welcome you

Cute stop in breakfast spot. It's not a sit down and get waited on type of establishment, but you are able to order at the counter and dine-in (or to-go). Smoothie was 10/10, you can tell it's fresh and they have so many options. Also recommend checking out their coffee list!

Fair warning: this place has two personalities -- a restaurant side and a much louder dance-party side that share the same building. We opted for the restaurant side, which was surprisingly not busy despite the earliest reservation we could get being 7:30pm on a weeknight. The menu blends classic soul food (fried chicken, mac and cheese) with a strong New Orleans Creole influence -- gumbo, jambalaya, fried seafood, cornbread. Portions are enormous. We started with the deviled eggs ("D'Evils"), topped with fried chicken bites and lemon pepper dust -- excellent and surprisingly filling for just four halves. We also got the Nolia Clip, a vegan gumbo base loaded with fried shrimp, crabmeat, turkey sausage, and a full catfish filet -- essentially an entree-sized bowl on its own. For entrees, the fried chicken plate ("Let's Stay Together") was a standout -- moist chicken, crispy crust, great mac and cheese and collard greens, though the cornbread muffins were bland and watery-tasting. My jambalaya ("Burning Blues") turned out to be nearly identical in ingredients to the gumbo appetizer we'd already had, just a bit thicker and in a bigger portion -- worth knowing before you order both. We left with a full meal's worth of leftovers and zero room for dessert. Food quality was great across the board (minus the cornbread), and portions are a serious value. Service was the weak point -- slow to seat and slow table-side all night. Good pick if you're after soul food with Creole flair and don't mind a leisurely pace.

Ambiance was, it was a BEAUTIFUL, clean and very well maintained restaurant, including the rest rooms. Service was just as outstanding as the physical facility. EVERYONE we encountered was friendly, professional and said Hi! Unfortunately, their food was as 'on point' as the rest of the experience. We ordered the 'Roast Beef Sandwich' and the 'Avocado Shrimp Toast'. Ok, I'll start with the Roast Beef Sammy-Thick Cold Bread, not room temp, not toasted, but thick cold bread (of which I ate about 1/4 of it. Now the Roast Beef, cold (not a problem) but sliced just too thick so when I took a bite, I could not chew through it and the entire slab of slices pulled out of the sandwich and gave me a 'Chin Slap'! The Au Jus was spectacular! Literally French Onion Soup without the crouton or cheese. Overall, NOT a sandwich worth $18. The other meal was their'Avocado Shrimp Toast', ANOTHER HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT, ESPECIALLY for $18!! 2 small pieces of cold toasted bread, a THIN layer of avocado and ONE SHRIMP CUT IN 1/2 on each slice of bread. NOT A VALUE for $18. What made it worse was that my wife was NEVER offered or received a coffee refill. They DID constantly refill our waters and my Iced Tea. Service 4 Ambiance 5 Food 2 Overall 3

I'm glad Graze exists, because I feel like they have quite a few options that meet what I'm looking for. This time I got a kale Caesar with blackened Ahi tuna on it. The Ahi tuna was absolutely delicious. I found the kale Caesar had a bit too much sauce, it tasted extra cheesy to me, so I think this Caesar sauce which is homemade has quite a bit of cheese in it for those of you who may not be big cheese fans. What would have made this five stars is if it had less sauce, so next time I might ask for the dressing on the side so I can control putting it on myself. I appreciate that they text you when your order is ready so you can walk around, I was able to go back to my table and sit with the family until my order was ready. Some of the stalls do not open until 11 AM, but Graze opens before that, probably because they have breakfast options.
