We were floored and wanted to know what in the world they did to the car. In very broken engrish, Tommy told my wife and I the timing chain needed to be replaced and told us he could not get a hold of my wife so he preformed the service anyway. Problem is, our car is three years old has 27900 miles on it and is covered by the manufactures warranty. This guy is a crook and a con. Two days after we got the car back, it acted the same way as when we brought it in so we had it towed back to BMW and was told the cold start valve needed to be replaced and so did the water pump. It was now leaking. As it turns out, the timing belt was NOT replaced or even looked at, it would appear they instead replaced the serpentine belt and tried to charge us for the timing belt. Dallas BMW warrantied the repair, replaced the water pump and cold start valve as we asked and the car runs great. We cancelled our AMX charge with Tommy Techs and called and asked for the parts they claimed to have replaced only to now have Tommy claim he could not understand what we were asking for and hung up on us! Crooks from the word GO!

He quickly responded to my request and said 20 minutes and we will let you know. Before he took charge of my car gave me all the information about the process and price. I felt it ws clean wnd clear instruction and that's why I felt comfortable going ahead taking their service. Miles, the owner, told that as courtesy they will give me discount on my oil change next time and mentioned what oil they use which i felt was part of good service communication. I explained that it states synthetic. He said yes, semi-synthetic. That's not ok. Even on the Groupon page under highlights it says they offer conventional, semi-synthetic and synthetic. Very personable, very nice, has a great smile, with twilight eyes and is a "god fearing man", but he must be in money trouble to be charging those rates. He didn't like that I showed up, because I called him out and his personable demeanor changed fast. If you want honest, go to Car Zone (small hill and belt line in Grand Prairie) ask for Aladdin. Milton even came to check out my landlords car that was broke...he literally drove himself over to inspect it because her car wouldn't drive. He fixed her car at her house! What incredible service! Since then I have recommended him and several friends have used him. My roomate is headed there tomorrow to get his brakes done. I bought a Jeep from him and shortly after having the Jeep I started to get the death wabbles. A issue he was well aware the Jeep had but said nothing to me about after basically replacing the whole front end I went back into his shop and tried to get him to give me my deposit back and we can call it a wash on all the money I gave him for the Jeep which totaled about $4,000 but I was willing to take the loss to be able to get into something more reliable. He then told me no let me out you in something better. We have had such a hard time with that Jeep and the death wabbles. I am gonna sell it to the auction. He then put me in a f-150 and which in the first year again another problem. The rack and pinion went out on it. He replaced and I paid him to do so. Well a few weeks later I got what seem to be the death wabbles in my truck!! Some how his guys loosened the control arm bolt and my muffler cracked in half because of how they jacked the car up. Every time he works on a car it has another problem when you get it back. But I just got it fixed and went on with my life. Well two years in the power steering pump and radiator go out. When I got the truck he assured me that he had just replaced the power steering pump with a brand new one. (Nothing he uses is brand new) he will lie to you about that. So I let him fix those and again we work out a payment plan and I get the truck back. Well a week later the truck starts pouring out trans fluid and I get stranded in the middle of no where. The truck goes back to ole Larry's shop again and he figures out his guys messed up once again. Now I fell behind on my payments for a month work slowed down but I was gonna make it right and get current. I dumped a lot of money into this truck, even got new wheels and rims on it to make it look really nice. Well Larry saw how nice it was when he as working on it and saw that he could take the truck from me and resell it for close to what I was gonna pay. He will screw you over guarantee his repo rate is probably one of the highest out of any dealership around.
