Free nachos while waiting for my to-go order
    Kristen E.

Stopped by to pick up dinner to go and was given a basket of nachos to tide me over until I got home with our Milanese sandwich and steak salad. Both came with rice, which hubby didn't eat, and then I added extra lettuce with the rest of the meat I didn't eat on top of my rice for a delicious lunch the next day. I would definitely want to order the same thing again, and maybe next time, we'll have to try the empanadas. They have a couple of small tables or booths us you want to eat in. Street parking.

I stopped by here a couple of Saturdays ago for lunch. Our neighborhood was a yard sale and so they invited a couple of food trucks to come and Tango happened to be one of them. Since my wife and I both love Argentinian food, we were both excited about this. Tango looked like any other food truck in that it had a menu on the side of the truck and then a window to order from. On the day that we were there, they had at least 3 workers inside of the truck that I could see and maybe more. On this day my wife and I decided to order two empanadas, one chicken and one beef, as well as the tango sandwich. After maybe a 5 minute wait our food was ready for us and we took it back to our house. I first started out with the empanadas with the first one that I bite into being the beef one. The crust had a nice bite to it while also being flaky and the filling inside of it was delicious. I especially enjoyed dipping it in the accompanying chimichurri. After I had finished half of it I gave it to my wife to finish it. We repeated the process with the chicken one which was almost exactly the same, except for it being chicken instead of beef. Both my wife and I enjoyed them and if we had more of them we would have been happy to make a meal out of them. After we had finished with the empanadas I started in on the tango sandwich. It ended up being quite flavorful with the cheese, peppers and onions topping especially whenever I added the accompanying chimichurri. The steak itself was the star though as it had a great grilled flavor to it. My only complaint was that it was quite tough and so even though I wanted more and more of it, I was having a tough time chewing it. The bottom line for me is that I would stop by here again in the future. While my steak was a little tough, everything else here we had was on point and both my wife and I would love to try more of their food in the future.

    Four cheese empanada

Today, I stopped by the Tango Food Truck while they were parked near Inner Groove Brewing. They are usually here on Saturdays or Thursdays. The food listed on the truck looked delicious (and the prices were listed!), but I wasn't too hungry so I just got the ricotta and spinach empanada, a beef empanada, as well as a four cheese empanada. The man running the truck gives you a small device to notify you when your order is finished (similar to Olive Garden or Panera Bread). They were made quite quickly. The price for the empanadas is very reasonable, at just $3 each. However, they are less filling than other empanadas and the portion is average. I enjoyed the four cheese empanada the most. It was very warm, had a nice cheese pull, and the cheese was very flavorful. I'd definitely order this one again. The beef empanada was good, too. It is ground beef, not shredded beef. There are some olives and seasonings inside, too. My least favorite of the three is the spinach ricotta one. There is not enough ricotta in my opinion, and it's not too similar to spanakopita (which is what I expected it to taste like). Only order it if you are a major spinach fan. The crust for all the empanadas was airy and crisp. They were sauced with a lovely oil-based sauce which had garlic and some spices. There were also little lemon packets. All in all, I'd love to return to Inner Groove and order something from Tango again. The 4 cheese empanada is awesome and I'll be interested to try the sandwiches.

Tango has Authentic Argentinian food. The menu includes Steak Sandwich, Milanesa, empanadas Beef Kabob, Chorizo & salad. Had the Choripan sausage sandwich with chimichurri, onions and peppers. It came with a side of rice. Great sandwich. Check them out on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/tangofoodtruck/

I was able to check out Tango when they were at Inner Groove last week. We tried the beef and chicken empanadas and the chicken fries. The empanadas, specifically the beef, were fantastic. The fries were good too. I liked the chicken but the cheese was kind of a letdown. Overall, food was good and prices reasonable.

I caught the Tango Food Truck parked up on Route 60 in Robinson Township today, and ordered a few empanadas. I tried the Spinach, Corn, and Beef (one of each). They came with a little portion cup of dipping sauce, and they were all very delicious.

Got the steak bowl. So very good!! Steak was tender, sauce was good & smelled amazing.

Tried the Tango Sandwich. It had some nice flavor but was a bit pricey for what it was. Also, the bun fell apart before I finished eating the sandwich. The sweet potato fries were very good. You get a nice portion size for just $4. I would eat here again, though I would probably try something different from the menu next time.

Great quick stop for a nice beef empanada. Friendly couple running the truck. Hope to try a Milanese or more empanadas in the future.

The ambiance is warm and inviting, with bright colors and artwork that reflect the restaurant's cultural heritage. Even the television programming helps create an authentic atmosphere and gives visitors a glimpse into Oaxacan culture. I love that they offer such unique and authentic Oaxacan cuisine right here in Carrick. The tortilla is homemade and perfectly crispy, topped with high quality steak and delicious Oaxacan cheese. My favorite parts are the green salsa, avocado, and grilled green onions. I absolutely love them. If I could change one thing, I would ask for a little more avocado and grilled green onion. I also think some grilled corn, onions, and peppers would complement the dish nicely. The radishes were not my favorite addition because they did not seem to blend with the other flavors as well. The lettuce and beans added a nice touch, and overall the dish was flavorful, satisfying, and memorable. It is wonderful to have such authentic cuisine within walking distance of home. I am already looking forward to coming back and trying more items on the menu. The chicken enchiladas with either mole sauce or green salsa also caught my eye.

I will say, they are not consistent with the level of spice. The Horchata's are amazing.
