Each time, I was asked to provide the same information, despite prior chats and confirmation that the return had already been received. I was told I would get an update within 24 hours--days went by with no communication. Only after reaching out again was I finally told the refund would be processed. While I did eventually receive confirmation, I was disappointed to see that shipping was deducted, even though I had already paid to send the item back. After all the delays and lack of follow-through, that felt like poor business practice. Customer service should not require this level of persistence just to get a resolution. The lack of communication, repeated runaround, and having to chase my own refund made this one of the worst customer service experiences I've had. I would not recommend this company based on this experience.

From the start, she was so warm and encouraging. She found hair that perfectly matched mine in color, density, thickness (blond, thin and fine) and created a beautiful halo that looked natural. It had been ten years since I had them last and I was a little bit traumatized by the experience of getting them out, as it had left my hair horribly broken and damaged. That said, they were done with synthetic hair. Real hair makes all the difference with the extent of damage to your own hair. Catherine only uses high quality hair and is an expert with weft extensions (in the past, I had pinch braid style). She works out of Uliana Hair Studio these days, a lovely salon in the East Village (I reviewed it separately). You go in for a consultation and discuss options, which include tape, sew-in or halo (non permanent). I went for sew-in as I wanted something semi permanent. My wedding was several months away and I wanted to get used to this hair thing before then. If you choose this method, you need to go in and get it maintained every 4-6 weeks to keep it looking good. The hair is so seamlessly blended with your own that you will forget that you don't actually have that perfect, thick long hair! It's so natural that you'll get more of the, "wow, your hair has grown so long" types of compliments. When I'd tell people that they were extensions, they couldn't believe it. Man, I wish my hair was this thick and healthy! I've had thin, lousy hair since I was like 11. Years of dying, flat ironing and blow drying hasn't done it any favors either. Prices are extremely fair in comparison to other salons, not only in NYC but across the country. Yes, this is an investment, but you pay for quality. It was worth it. I decided after my wedding that the sew-ins and the necessary maintenance weren't for me anymore. Catherine made my 2 wefts into a halo that I wear occasionally (OK, rarely. I've been digging the easiness of my shoulder length hair, especially in winter when long hair keeps getting caught in coats and scarves). Note that my hair was not really damaged at all after having the extensions in for 7 months. Incredible. Catherine is awesome. I appreciated that she was willing to work with me and what I needed as far as the length and thickness of the extensions (initially they were a bit too "much" for me, so she shaped them up and thinned them out a bit). I enjoyed talking to her and getting to know her on each of my visits. Oh and she is also great when it comes to dying your hair!

Whenever I'm in NYC, I make it a point to book with Suzana and I honestly wish she lived closer to me in California. She gave me the best blowout I have ever had, and I've had many blowouts over the years. My hair looked absolutely gorgeous smooth, full, shiny, and perfectly styled and what amazed me most is that it held beautifully for over a week. That has never happened to me before. Suzana is incredibly talented, intuitive, and clearly a master of her craft. And she is so friendly and FUN! I specifically came to your salon because I saw you offer curly hair extensions, and I was under the impression that you'd have something compatible with my texture. Unfortunately, when I arrived after traveling over an hour from Staten Island and paying $70 for parking, I was shown wavy extensions that clearly wouldn't work for my hair. I was told there were no other options available. This experience was incredibly frustrating -- especially since I took the time to provide the necessary info in advance and trusted that you would be prepared for my visit. I feel that my time and money were wasted, and I genuinely hope this feedback helps improve communication with future clients to avoid similar situations. I sent this message directly to them and got no response. They "permanently closed" on google to avoid all the negative reviews. Beware and do not waste your time or money.
