Both meals were incredible. The egg plant was flavorful and the sauce was amazing. The steak was cooked perfectly and juicy. The potato's had a scrumptious sauce on them. I would definitely order the potato's again!! The waitress was kind and the service was great. The restaurant was trendy and a great place to have a girls night out or dinner date!

We stopped here for lunch. We had: Shprouts - crispy Brussel sprouts with shishito peppers, shallots and a teriyaki sauce. Absolutely delicious, tops the charts for great Brussel sprouts. Brekkie bowl - chicken chorizo, 2 eggs, avocado, dried cherries, grains, onions cheddar and Crema. A very different, excellent dish. Loved it! Oh ya! I'll be back to this place!

I went to Tano on Saturday night with my partner and a few of our friends. Easy to get reservations. We started with lobster and Brie dip, Ricotta and honey and the bread basket. Amazing starters. I decided to be daring and tried the duck breast. It was sooo good. Cooked perfectly, tender and flavorful. It was not greasy, which is what I was worried about. It came with risotto and green beans. My partner had the pork chop and he raves about it. My friend has stuffed salmon and she ate the entire thing and usually never does that. My other friend had a salad with salmon. She mentioned them at the Prosciutto wrapped asparagus was a show stopper! Service was great to top it off!

We needed a place to host a pre-graduation dinner and Tano Bristro was definitely the right spot for us. As a foodie, I don't mind driving for good food but during graduation weekend in Oxford, we really didn't have a choice. The team really did a great job accommodating our large party. This place is only a couple of years old and is on the 1st floor of a building across from a park and hotel. The area appears to be growing with new units popping up. There's street parking around the restaurant and we didn't have a problem finding a spot. They have a nice bar area and offer both outside and indoor seating. We have been coming to Oxford for a number of years now. Tano Bistro is one of the better places we have found in the area. Their lunch and dinner are both very good. They have a good variety on the menu and are willing to make modifications (as needed). If you are in the area and want to have a good meal, I would certainly encourage you to make a reservation and check out Tano Bistro.

I love Tano Bistro! I've been before at their first location in Loveland. Every since then I've been a fan. Then I found out they opened one in Hamilton. This is where I live so this is perfect. This location also did not disappoint! Their food is comforting, fresh and delicious! The service is also always pleasant! We always start with appetizers! This visit we did the Ricotta & Honey and Smoked Wings. We love ricotta dips paired with sourdough bread! It's the perfect match and ricotta is a great dip. What was unique about this dip was it had blueberries in it. It was fantastic! I'm not a wing person but the wings were good. My husband and my youngest daughter killed the wings! Their appetizers never disappoint. I usually stick to what I know at a restaurant, especially if I really like it. I ordered the Stuffed Salmon and my husband ordered The Havana. The salmon is always my go-to when I come. It's good and I love salmon. I enjoy this dish! Now the Havana was bomb! It was a great choice my husband picked. I'm glad he did so we could try it. It certainly gave Cuban vibes! It was delicious! We did not have any complaints! We can't end dinner without dessert! We ordered the S'mores Bread Pudding! I think between myself, my husband and two daughters we scarfed this down within minutes! It was delicious! I like how they added a twist to such a classic dessert! The s'mores was a great idea to add onto this dish! I loved it! Overall, Tano is a great restaurant and I really enjoy them. They change their menu seasonally. Some items stay on the menu year round and others come and go based on seasonal ingredients for the best freshness! Certainly give them a try!

So this restaurant is a much needed addition to Hamilton's dining options. It adds fresh and delicious chef inspired cuisine. Had dinner on an extremely busy Saturday evening, realizing they were still in the newish phase. However, the service was great and the food delicious! The menu features salads and sandwiches and also full dinners. It also has shareables and small plates available. We had the pulled pork sandwich with a mini bistro salad with a glass of Chardonnay. For dessert we tried the Strawberry Pistachio Chiffon. All the food was yummy. The dessert was amazing! So happy for this new dining option! Tip: make reservations if going on a busy weekend evening. We had no wait with a reservation on a busy Saturday!

    Pasta Diablo so good.

There is a small parking lot plus street parking available. One interesting thing is the numerous old photos of Hamilton hanging on the walls. There is even one of the building back in the day! We ordered an Anna's pretzel with beer cheese and horse cheese as an appetizer. It was one of the best soft pretzels I've eaten! Large, warm and the 2 dipping sauces made a great accompaniment. We ordered a Reuben and fish and chips also. They were yummy as well. The bar tender/waitress was very attentive and pleasant. The prices are very moderate. It is an escape from the crowded, noisy environment that one finds at the sports facility across the street, and I am grateful that Hydraulic Bar is here to provide an oasis. The space is great; a view of the river, nicely decorated bar and dining room, and within the re-purposed Champion Paper Mill. Service is good; I usually hang at the bar and have always been well taken care of. Bar is good; a lot of draft beer selections and decent cocktails. Prices are reasonable; especially weeknights when they have half-price appetizers during happy hour. So why three starts? The food is hit or miss, and sometimes enough of a miss for it to be an issue. I've eaten quite a few items off the menu. The GIANT pretzel is a hit for sharing. (is indeed Colossal). The appetizer tacos are good. The pizzas are quite small and mostly crust (not enough cheese and toppings). The jalapenos on the stuffed jalapenos were undercooked and super-crispy like an uncooked jalapeno. The nachos were bad; a tray of chips with cheese whiz and a scoop of sour cream plopped in the middle. They have some sandwiches and salads also I haven't tried. I like the space, I like the bar, I am grateful to have this place to hangout, but the FOOD needs work. Would recommend as a place to hang out, but this is NOT a place for a meal.
