Lovely! We had eaten here a dozen or so years ago and I remember being sad that there was not really that much on the menu that qualified as Italian. But that was then and this is now, and the current hands-on owners give us a truly Italo-centric experience! It feels very European in here. All brick walls and an archway between the bar room and the dining room. Big wine rack in the dining room. The bar is also quite attractive and looks comfortable. I don't recall hearing any music but we were there at lunchtime on Sunday. Fire grilled artichokes grabbed me so we got this for an app. I admit I didn't read the description completely. The dish had seven little artichoke quarters drowning in Alfredo sauce. The artichoke was sweet and tender but all that sauce really overwhelmed it and this app is overpriced for the quantity. Later I realized we could have had them served with EVOO and parmesan which I would have much preferred. It was disappointing that the waitress didn't ask which preparation we wanted, and that the kitchen apparently did not ask her, either. Our two pasta dishes were delectable and the amount of protein was quite generous. We both loved our sauces, and the spicy Italian sausage (house made!) was out of this world. They sliced it nice and thin and there was so much, I was really in Heaven. The fettuccine and the capellini were done to perfect al dente. Our waitress did a great job and checked on us often. She was handling several tables and was constantly on the move but kept up well with all her guests. I was thrilled to see Limoncello cake on the dessert menu but a bit shocked at the high price. Of course it is possible you get a huge slice and I will definitely research this further next time! I plan on coming back, and soon. read more

We went to Villaggio's for lunch on Valentines Day. All of the staff were very kind and helpful and our food was delicious! Best calzone I've had in a very long time. I enjoyed it so much I've already invited a group of my friends to have dinner there next month. I highly recommend this cute restaurant with great food and service! We just recently moved to Lebanon, and Villaggio's was the only Italian spot that was recommended. It did not disappoint! We tried a variety of items, starting with the spinach and artichoke dip, then shared a wedge salad. For entrees we had the lasagna and chicken parmesan. Everything was so incredibly fresh, delicious, and perfectly constructed! What was even more special was our incredibly sweet and thoughtful waitress, Randa. She took special care with explaining the menu, the restaurant, and the village to give us an idea of our new community... checking on us throughout the dining experience to make sure we were satisfied. The only words I found that I was repeating were, "A Complete Home Run!" Love, love, love this place and have already booked a reservation for Valentines Day. Ambience and wine list are spectacular also! If you want to enjoy authentic Italian cuisine in a cozy, friendly, and welcoming place, this should be your "go-to"spot! read more

I had the Chicken Parmesan which was delicious. Not on the menu but you can ask for it. The bread stick that comes with the meal is flavorless and not great but the entree being so good I did not care. The Cesar salad was good but they need to add the anchovy to the dressing to get to a fantastic for me. My Dad had the lobster ravioli. He thought it was very good but a little light on the lobster filling. He did enjoy his draft Guiness which was nice. Highly recommend! With a few minor updates this one could be the 5++++ read more

Perfect Valentines dinner! Thank you! Being Italian we all love our own mother's sauce but I have to say your meatball, sauce and cheese dish was outstanding and the sauce was pretty good! Meatballs were tender and not dry, wish I had room to eat them all ( leftovers just as good on a piece of bread). Lasagna was good but lil mushy on noodles. But the best was the mushroom ravioli with Cajun Alfredo...killer! Could eat that everyday no joke! Would like a bigger italian menu ...maybe gnocchi and some sausage and peppers! My friend and I were looking for a place in Lebanon to have lunch and stumbled upon this quaint and cozy Italian restaurant. The interior, with exposed brick, in a historic building, had such great ambiance! It was not only perfect for a lunch with the girls, but would make for a fun and romantic date night for sure. My friend had a salad with chicken, and she really enjoyed the Italian dressing. I had a build your own pasta with rigatoni (cooked perfectly!), Cajun cream sauce, and I splurged with chicken AND Italian sausage. It was delicious! The wine list is AMAZING. My friend and I split a bottle of their house pinot grigio, which is from a small producer in Italy. Perfection! Seriously y'all. This isn't a wine list of grocery store wines. If you appreciate high quality, small production vineyards, check out this gem in Lebanon! And if Lebanon isn't super close to you, the town is so quaint, historic and walkable. Make an afternoon or evening of it. Spend some time shopping the little boutiques, and finish off with a fantastic meal at Villagio's. Oh! And while we were there, a group of 50 traveling high school kids from a band competition came in, and the staff accommodated them with no issue. This huge group didn't affect my time with my friend (there are two dining rooms, so we were able to be in a separate room). The service was still fantastic even while they were handling that large party. The band kids came and went while my friend and I were still enjoying ourselves. We had to run out and feed the meter extra money because we unexpectedly stayed so long! We will definitely be back-- there was a lot to choose from on the menu so we have a lot more to try! My husband and I have stopped in several times at Villaggio's. We have always had great food, very friendly service, and a great dining experience. This casual place offers Italian food that is so good. We started with Italian bread, I had ravioli with Alfredo sauce, my husband had lasagna. Got take out food. I had to put the pizza in the air fryer to finish cooking the crust when I got home, then it tasted better. The cannoli was good, but put in the bag on top of the hot food, so the filling had melted out the ends. It should be in a separate bag. Spending time in the fridge made it better. read more

Food was awful it tasted like nothing. I ordered the fettuccine creamy mushroom pasta with shrimp, and sauce wasn't creamy, it was super runny. My sister ordered the Margherita pizza with mushrooms, and not only did they forget the mushrooms (they charged extra for) the pizza had no flavor it was absolutely bland. this place is not worth the hype. read more

We were a party of three on a rainy Friday night. The restaurant was crowded, but we were seated by one o the waitresses without a wait. We looked around and only saw one empty table. As we waited for someone to take our order we recognized both of the waitresses were running at full steam. Yes, both of them. Waitress One and Waitress Two. The cooks were bringing food to the tables in addition to waitresses one and two. Just two people running the entire front of the house. Greeting, Seating, Waiting, Serving, Cashing Out, and Busing all of the tables. In addition to taking drink orders and bringing THOSE to the tables. Fortunately, the drink orders were expedited, and our server knew to keep an eye on them. So, service definitely missed the mark - not because the service was bad - just because it was spread way too thin. The meal? Definitely worth the wait. One of the best "Village" pizzas around. Fresh ingredients, heavy-handed on the cheese, and scratch-made dough. The salads were also unique in both texture and ingredients - more of a mixed green, spinach & romaine than the standard iceberg mix. Certainly not from a bag, hand crafted (can you "craft" a salad any other way? Well, you get the point). A little on the high end for pricing, but it's not a fast-food joint. You are paying for fresh-not-frozen. We are fans of both the pepperoni and the pepperoni/mushroom pizzas so far. read more

We have only did takeout from this location. We normally call in an order and pick it up though on one occasion we stopped in and had a drink at the bar while we were waiting for it to be prepared. The people employed there I've always been pleasant and helpful and respectful to us as customers. Providing four stars because to ask the pizzas just a little too fancy. we have had a couple of problems with villaggio's, messed up take out order, forgot items, etc. We have eaten in the restaurant a few times, it was becoming our regular stop for dinner on the weekend. This evening we were not treated well. We walked in around 6, no reservation which has not been an issue in the past. We were told by we had to wait 15-20 minutes. We were told the wait staff needed to catch up. We stood and waited, and watched as three other patrons came and were seated ahead of us. I listened only one of the groups said the had called ahead. I asked the girl what happened, she told me they were waiting too. I pointed out 5hey were seated and given menus, at the same time the waitress was delivering drinks to them. She stopped and walked away. The other groups were seat3d giv3n drinks while we were ignored. When help finally came over they were rude, as if we were bothering them. We asked about the waitress catch up and was told they had a lot of reservations. We were there for 45 minutes, we saw no mad rush of patrons with reservations, there were empty tables the entire time. We felt disrespected, over looked and ignored. While we enjoy the food, we did not deserve such treatment and will not return. read more

I live in town and love to frequent local restaurants over chains because I feel like it's important to support local businesses owned by my literal neighbors, but when anyone I know asks where to eat around Lebanon, I strongly recommend that they avoid Villaggios. Their food is mediocre at best and their bar makes good drinks but the service takes an absolute eternity. I have seen them make comments on yelp about having trouble finding staff but that's bologna because one of the half dozen times I went in and had to wait so long we were literally one of only two tables. They seated us quickly but then it was maybe 15 minutes before anyone came to the table. We ordered drinks which took 20 minutes to get but the waitress didn't take our order in the mean time to speed it up even just a little. We both ordered pasta that should have taken at most 10 minutes to make but we waited 35 minutes only for it to be cold when we got it. I've never got in and out of Villaggios under an hour and 45 minutes. We will NEVER go back. read more
