Now where it all goes down the drain is , from here, the most IMPORTANT part that is why we booked, to enjoy, spend quality time and catch up. my sister and my mom are from South San Diego so we were all looking to catch up, We were excited to get together and spend time together, but this is where it goes wrong. I went in for a facial to a separate room where I had an OK facial, the young lady was good, but I wanted to relax, and in the beginning she kept talking...... I don't care much for her moms free massage or who's playing the Super Bowl ‍ facial was a two out of five.... Second, I then get put in another room where it was not even communicated to me, What to do. The communication here is horrible. My mom agreed! So then I sit down for a 15 min foot detox which was never communicated to me, I was asking do I said do I lay... once again communication barrier horrible. I later than figured out this was the detox, After that, I was brought to my 60 minute body massage which was OK but day after today I am so sore. I did ask for no elbows since she most definitely used elbows...... my biggest concern here is that they have no communication!! I then was taken to the 15 minute sauna, which was probably my favorite part!!! we then headed out we paid. They did ask my mom if she enjoyed her massage. She said yes she tipped..... for me. No one asked if I enjoyed it. I was going to say a few of my concerns why we were not all put together. We wanted to enjoy our massages together. Maybe we should've started with that all in one room but unfortunately, we were all put in different rooms. We never saw each other until the end....... I will definitely not be returning.

I say "they" because the "therapist" left 1/2 way through the massage and was replaced by another one. It was by no means serene or relaxing. The "therapists" talked to each other during the transition. One of the therapist was also talking to her co-workers through the wall during my massage. The massage was more like be pinched. I booked a bikini wax and did not state a preference for the technician. Riley ended up doing my Brazilian and she was excellent! She talked to me throughout to distract me from the pain, but honestly it was not that painful. I was surprised that my skin was not super red afterward. She offered me a rosewater wipe to use prior the waxing and the treatment room was clean. She did a thorough job and used an oil by the brand Fur to finish, and I decided to purchase the travel rollerball, which totally helped eliminate any ingrown hairs or red bumps that were trying to come out. I kept using the rollerball for weeks after, and no ingrowns! I shopped around the boutique after my treatment and was astounded at the reasonable prices on the super cute clothes, jewelry, and other accessories and fun things in the shop. I left with a dress, a couple cute tops, a bracelet and earrings by Scout (love that brand), and a travel candle, plus the Fur rollerball. I believe the Brazilian bikini wax was $65, and I left a nice tip and walked away with fun new stuff without spending a ton over my gift card amount of $115. Side note--the toilet would not flush when I used their restroom, and let them know, so they shut it down for customer use while I was there. I think it's an older building and perhaps sensitive plumbing. This did not affect my experience in any way.
