I requested a 30 minute Swedish massage. In retrospect, I wish I had requested a 60 minute massage, because the massage was unbelievable!!! At first I was nervous, because the masseuse was a male, named Peter. But, Peter was the best masseuse I ever had. He was excellent! I received an exceptional massage. He hit all the right spots and he was gentle, and effective. I was so happy. I asked him to continue, but he could not because I had only booked a 30 minute massage. But the massage lasted for 40 minutes and he only charged me for the 30 minute massage. I gave him a ten dollar tip. I recommend him to anyone. That was the first time that I had ever visited Good Fortune Spa! The spa was extremely clean and the ambiance in the room was extremely attractive and nice. The owner was extremely friendly and she told me to come back. She was very nice. I am so impressed with this little Spa! From the outside, it does not look like much. But once you are inside the spa, I just relaxed. By the way, Peter was very respectful during the massage. He kept me covered with the sheets, so I kept my dignity. The quality and the prices are feasible! But the massage quality is equal to a $100.00 or more. But an hour massage is only $60.00. This is an extraordinary Spa with exceptional employees. I called in advance and asked about walk ins and was told they had time for one- So, I drove over. Once I got there, 2 men were in front of me doing the same and they were taken. I was then told I would have to wait 3 hours until I could be seen. I was continuously told that I didn't understand and that I called the wrong number. Once I asked if they knew which customer I was and how would they know, they then tried to laugh and be positive about the situation. Would have been great to been positively greeted first and spoke about the incident- not told I'm wrong and to leave. But massage itself was very relaxing and person who did my massage was also very skillful. I really enjoyed my time being there and also the price is quite reasonable. Went in for a couples massage. This is the closest massage spa to our house so we thought we would try it out. The massages were OK. The place was decent. The bathroom was not so great. The real issue is the person at the front was really pushy about the tips. They expect at least $20 for a $60 massage. Wow! I would have given a better tip if it was worth it. The Chinese women don't speak English well and that was confusing but they were nice. They cover you with a sheet and a thin soft blanket. The best Spa around! I was having a lot of back and shoulder pain. A pleasant woman named Coco greeted me at the door with a big welcoming smile. After a 90-minute session, I felt so much better, a lot of the tension in my back and shoulder was practically gone! As soon as the maseause realized that I'm married and only wanted a massage, she lost all interest in pleasing me/giving a good massage. Ironically, there were times when her massage (of walking on my back) was so bad and so careless, that it was actually good at times for my ultra-tight muscles. At the end of the massage she didn't leave and waited for me to get dressed IN FRONT OF HER. Humiliating and ridiculous. She demanded a "good tip" and I stupidly gave her between $10 & $20, to which she jabbed her hand in my stomach and said "more. you give more tips." Totally ridiculous. By far, this has to be one of the best priced massage shops in this area. Now with that being said, you get what you pay for. I've had hit or miss massages here. Sometimes it will be amazing and they do a really good job to get all the knots out (I like a firm pressure) and other times I tell them hard pressure and end up falling asleep from light touch. Also, they are not shy about your naked body. Just a little PSA because it freaked me out the first time (kinda pulled my blanket ALL the way down...etc) but I'm sure they are used to seeing exposed bodies. They usually can squeeze you in short notice and will stay later if needed but they do tend to answer the phone/door since I think only about two people work there at a time. Really just hit or miss here, maybe find a masseuse you like and stick with them. read more

I think my therapists name was Kally, she was Chinese, had some difficulty with English but we got by just fine just the same. The massage was incredible and I would heartily recommend this place to anyone who wants an inexpensive massage. Plus when I gave her a $20 tip on top of the $40 hourly rate, she actually smiled, bowed and said THANK YOU. Some previous places I've visited I'd offer a 25% or 50% tip and I would get a frown and the girl asking for more. How RUDE!!!
