Her work on my hair and make-up LEGIT lasted ALL DAMN DAY so much so that I did not want to take it off before bed at the end of the night and I literally slept with my hair and make-up done and wore my make-up for the next day LOL I told her my vision of my look for the wedding during my bridal trail and she delivered! She took the time to listen to my ideas and preferences, offering expert advice to create a look that perfectly suited my style and wedding theme. The trial session was incredibly helpful, and it gave me full confidence that I would look my best for the big day. On the day of the wedding, Vivian and her team arrived on time, fully prepared, and with a calming presence that eased any pre-wedding jitters. Everyone got along with each other and we were all vibing well all morning getting ready with Vivian and her team. What I appreciated most was the personalized touch. Vivian took into account my skin type, hair texture, and personal style, ensuring that everything was tailored to me. She also provided helpful tips for healthier/better skin leading up towards the big day and maintaining the look throughout the wedding day, which was incredibly thoughtful. My hair and makeup were perfect, not only did they look beautiful in person, but they also photographed wonderfully on all platforms (photobooth, phones, professional cameras, etc), with every detail captured perfectly in our photos. My whole look was amazing and breathtaking, I never felt and looked so good in my life. Vivian is SO WORTH IT! HIRE HER! I can't recommend Vivian highly enough. I reached out immediately in mid-August to book her, and she was luckily available! I was ecstatic. I followed up with a question about booking and did not hear back for over a week. That's fine, I get that she's busy. When I finally heard back, I received a long list of items to fill out for a contract. After I sent my contract info, I received an email from her assistant that my info was received and that a contract would be coming soon. I was so excited! It had already been a month since I initially reached out, so I was ready to lock this down. After waiting for TWO MORE WEEKS, I am told that someone else booked my date and thus they could not proceed with my contract. WHAT?! You couldn't have told me that TWO weeks ago after claiming to have received my info?? By this point, it was already October. I was so upset - what a waste of my time! It had already been practically two months since I first contacted her. I decided to reach out again & ask if she had any recommendations for a similar style artist to her, and hoped she would give me suggestions out of good faith after completely wasting my time. It's been almost 3 weeks and no response. In those 3 weeks, I spoke to 5 different artists who responded IMMEDIATELY, and have moved forward with booking & paying, providing my vision, booking bridesmaids, and having all of my questions answered in hours by the artist I booked - a true sign of professionalism. If this is a sneak peek into how working with her will be like on the big day, then maybe it was a blessing in disguise. I'm sure she's a wonderful person but this was so rude & left a horrible taste in my mouth. Seems to be a common issue with her one star reviews too.
