Had a straightforward job for a move-out clean that needed to be done. I'm less than a week out and now trying to find someone else to do it while I'm back home. I've never had cleaners ask for a deposit before. Was hoping to leave a glowing review with before and after photos to help grow their Yelp like I do with other vendors but now am stuck finding another cleaner. Can't speak to the quality of their work but if you're worried about paying money up front when many vendors are late or no-show not a company for you. I'm always happy to pay when people show up. Screenshot posted (since they can't) nothing is mentioned about a deposit being needed to book when they responded to my request 10/30. Also when I looked at the deposit request today it was non-refundable. Those exclusions mentioned are not referenced anywhere.

Alejandra and Miguel were polite, friendly, and did good work. They texted to let me know they would be slightly late. They listened to my requests and followed them, rather than doing a standard deep cleaning routine. They were flexible, so I got exactly what I needed, which was kitchen and bathroom, especially stovetop, backsplash, tub shower, and floors. They even asked permission to vacuum, just in case I was in a Zoom meeting or similar. Payment was slightly awkward for me, because I don't have Zelle or Venmo. I just haven't learned about those apps. Paying by debit or credit card is a second choice for TooClean, and there is a processing fee. Nevertheless, I would be happy to hire them again if I can't keep up with my cleaning for any reason.

Firstly, Violett is very responsive and is truly like the energizer bunny. Not kidding. I was…read morelooking for a new cleaning service and based on yelp reviews, contacted Violett. Even though she was out of the country at the time, she promptly returned my call. It was decided that she would visit my home to establish a price for a required deep clean prior to starting an every other week schedule. When she visited my house, she was very thorough and quickly pointed out all of the ways in which my family lives in a disgusting house! Kidding. She was not at all judgmental but definitely set an expectation relative to what would be cleaned upon that initial visit - all of the window coverings (plantation shutters), all window sills, door frames, all baseboards, wood floors (washed and dried by hand), tops of kitchen cabinets (people actually clean that??), all light fixtures, exhaust fans, etc. I'm going into such detail to make sure it is obvious why I truly expected my house to be spotless. The first day, I was to have three people for an unlimited time (Violett said they would clean until all of the work was done). They were a few minutes late and only two showed up (one was sick). No big deal. The two ladies were extremely pleasant, and I had very high hopes. After they left, i looked around. Some things weren't done or weren't done well. Ok. Maybe they were exhausted by the time they reached the last of the rooms. Violett called later that day to see if I was satisfied. I told her that her people were really nice but I was a little surprised that a few things weren't done well or at all (particularly in the kitchen). I was surprised because my expectation had been set when Violett first looked at my house. She said that they must have been tired because it is not usually a job for two people but that they would start in the kitchen next time and do a deep clean of the kitchen. I thanked her and felt her customer service was appropriate. Well, along cake visit two. About twenty minutes or so late. Not fatal but a trend perhaps. I had a few very specific things I was looking for after they left. They missed almost everything they missed the first time around (except the cabinets!). I hadn't told Violett about all missed things, because I wanted to give the team another try. Things missed (both times): the exhaust fan in my boys' bathroom, window sills - two dead flies in each of the kitchen windows (had to actually open shutters to see), cup marks on granite counters, plus rag marks from where the counters were wiped. I could go on, but I am truly not trying to be petty. And I am definitely not picky. I'm pretty relaxed about the house, actually, but a high expectation had been set, and it simply wasn't met. Again, Violett followed up, but I had to tell her to remove me from the schedule. Maybe it just depends on who you get....
