Super cool place in the neighborhood. Great atmosphere! Very welcoming host Diana. Besides poor yourself beers this beer house has lots to offer. More like a local hangout spot you can also stop by for a movie night or trivia evening.

Nab a bottle. 10% off on fills!!!!

I can't believe I haven't left a review here yet. It's literally the best place within 50 miles to get the rad beers from most of the great breweries in FL. The 40 taps change constantly, so each week, you are going to see some new things you will want to try. You pay by the ounce, so this is a chance to sample a ton of great beers. Also, it is a full variety, so stouts, sours, ciders, and pilsners are all of tap. It seems there are always free peanuts and popcorn, and on Fridays, there is karaoke. Also, board games are all over the place here, as well as multiple TVs playing whatever sporting event you want. Support local places like this. Growlers and crowlers can be bought and filled with your fav beverage, too.

    Amazing self serve tap room!

What an amazing concept, a self service Tap Room. Close to 50 different beers on tap. Nice place to relax enjoy a great brew and friendship. Inviting atmosphere which will make you want to pull up a chair and feel like you are at home. Right down the road from Champions Gate in the Publix shopping center off of Ronald Regan. See you there!

Great service, check (Ted & Liz were AWESOME). Thinking about becoming a regular at 1845 Tap House. For food, they have a limited menu, and also food trucks. I stumbled into 1845 Tap House on a Friday night after a long day at work without expectations. This is the part where I say, "and then I fell in love." They have a great selection of liquor and craft beer on draft. And they even have food. And did I mention the drinks are super reasonable. Wanted to set a tent up outside and stay, but I am sure that is not allowed. There was a guy on guitar crooning. Oh, and their house beers are awesome. The BEER: 1845 Shape Shifring Lizard IPA 6.3% ABV... OMG, this IPA is slightly juicy and well balanced. 1845 We Wants the Red Head red ale 5% ABV... this red ale is an all day Irish Red. Delicious. 1845 Drop the Puck imperial hazy IPA 9.8% ABV... so very good, juicy and sneaky, because 2 or 3 of these and you will be Ubering home. 1845 Secret Stash imperial Stout 10% ABV... like coffee, semi sweet dark chocolate and a hint of peanut butter. This is a better version of Sweet Baby Jesus, if you are familiar. FIRE!!!! And I found out why the draft here is exceptional. Their brewer is Florida Ave out of Tampa. So if you are in Davenport and looking for a good time, definitely stop at 1845 Tap House.

But.... the service is absolutely awful, like really bad at night. I have been here 3 times, once for lunch where the service was good, but the kitchen was slow. And twice at night, where the service was slow and the kitchen was slow. And at night, they have all the lights on like if the bar was going to close. And it is like that all night. I think they are trying to be more of a restaurant, but let's face it... Davenport's Sports Bar is a dive bar with the lights turned all the way up. Seems like industrial style lighting on a manufacturing scale. The food is okay. It is bar food. Did I mention how bad the service is? There were 5 servers including the bartender, couldn't figure out if there was a manager, but I got the impression that they are just disorganized. In any case, bad service means low or no tip and more beer so that's a win. Not going to go out of my way to visit here again. It just is not worth it.

It's got some great theming with TV shows and music, but it also has some problems. First off, it's not a brewery. They have bottled beer and one craft beer. Not even a tap system. Decent selections of wine though. They don't have old-school video games. They have a large emulation system that charges way too much money and takes forever to find your favorite games. There was stuff all over the floor when I visited. I know the owners were going for a "party" atmosphere, but someone could easily slip and hurt themselves. Finally, they were charging top-dollar for little toys, like $5 for a mini Rubik's Cube. The slap bracelets were cool, but that's about it. Back To the 80's has some promise, but they need to actually be a brewery to live up to their name. Imagine the inspired beers you could make here.

The rest of our group enjoyed the Bolognese, lasagna, and spaghetti with meatballs. We also ordered the focaccia tower, which comes with a side of homemade alfredo sauce. The house salad was very good and the balsamic dressing was tasty! The best part was the fresh shaved Parmesan on top. Also, all of their sauces are made in-house, and it's locally owned.
