This guy has never failed me once. Every cut is quick, on point, and the price is still unbelievably reasonable after all these years. Just moved to El Monte and found this barber on Yelp. I went in yesterday and was very impressed by the quality of my haircut. He gave me a perfect fade and cut my hair, using clippers and scissors, with painstaking precision. No hair was out of place. And it was pretty fast too. Walked in around noon.... Barbershop was empty, no one waiting. Asked if they were taking walk-ins and the only guy cutting hair said he was booked for the day. Other barbers just kept doing their thing. One on his phone and one looking at the mirror. They must not like to make money!! read more

Worst decision ive ever made... if i could pick 1/2 star i would... first time walk in.. asked for a skin fade 1 on top with a line up... the lady said and i quote "I'm the best".. complete disaster she cut and drew blood from me using only her clippers.. shaved me with a razor and not a barber blade and to top it off she went way to high on my line up and left it crooked.. the owner had to step in and help but i was still dissatisfied.. coming from a review stand point.. this place has 5 stars and to walk out with cuts shows the inexperience.. i will not be coming back.. read more

My dad met Jez when he was just starting as a barber and we've been coming to him ever since. My cousin, uncles and friends all come to him. Feels like you're getting a haircut from family but at the same time keeps it super professional. Jez always accommodates to my super busy schedule.
