CDI is a hidden gem of the Valley. It is a free educational space for children and toddlers to learn, explore, interact, read and play. This is their second location that officially opened on 10/12/21. The location of this magical play space is in an old church. The wood from the church pews have been repurposed into benches and decor inside the center. It also has a large gated parking lot with plenty of parking spaces. This educational play space feels like a small town inside. CDI offers six different themed play areas: Tree house slide, Friendly Farmers Market, Dr Giraffe's Health Clinic, Reading Circle, Transportation Station, and Busy Bee's area for smaller children and toddlers that also includes a nursing bathroom. All these fun play areas include themed toys. In the middle of the center are two tables for children to do interactive activities such as color, draw, paint, and play. This is a very clean play space. All the equipment and toys seem to be brand new and are cleaned throughout the day. CDI has a friendly staff and occasional school volunteers to help interact and play with the children. They also offer a interactive reading circle with a fun dance party at the end. This is our daughter's favorite part! Cubby holes are located by the entrance to put your coats, back packs, diaper bags, etc. Bathrooms are located on the far end of the facility. They have water fountains and a great refillable automatic water bottle station for reusable water bottles. I highly recommend CDI! Not only is this a free and safe educational play space for children and toddlers; they also offer great community outreach like food, donations, toys, books and specialized educational services for families. Check out the website for information regarding those services. Free sign up online and there is currently a 2 hour play time limit per session. This location is only currently open on Tuesdays and Thursdays but may change in the future.

Parking is horrendous, but it's a wonderful free service for the neighborhood. My son's love to play there.

I loved that you can see both sides of the play area from the seating section, which made it easy to keep an eye on my little one while still enjoying some time with friends. There are about 10 square tables in the middle, perfect for groups. Admission is $30 per child for 3 hours, which feels a bit steep, but each kid gets a free pair of branded non-slip socks -- a nice touch! Adult socks are available for $2 a pair if you need them. Everyone removes their shoes at the front gate and either goes barefoot or wears socks throughout. Shoes go in cubbies provided near the entrance. A huge bonus -- you're welcome to bring your own food and drinks (just keep them out of the actual play area). They also have a small fridge stocked with sodas and Capri Suns for $2 each, plus dry snacks and candy available for purchase if you need a quick bite. Worth noting they also have a small menu with pizza if you don't want to bring your own food, though I can't speak to the pricing or variety. The space was clean, cool, and air-conditioned, and not overly crowded. I noticed staff sanitizing tables and tidying the play areas throughout our visit, which I really appreciated. The one bathroom has two toilets and a double vanity, so it works well for families. My only suggestion would be to add corner bumpers to all the tables -- only every other one had them. Other than that and the price, it was a great experience. We'll definitely be back!

It's not the biggest indoor playground I've visited, but there is plenty for the kids to do! The play areas are clean and feel new. It's pretty easy to keep an eye on your kiddo here because there are lots of clear spaces/windows to look into the playground even if they are climbing in the upper area. My son loved the little machine that moves the balls up and down. I haven't seen anything like that at an indoor playground before! There is plenty of seating available and you can bring your own food inside. They have a small selection of snacks for sale and a free coffee station! Genius. It's $30 for entry which is a little steep but that's not far off from what other places charge. I would definitely come back.

I would recommend they print out menus with pictures especially for the Armenian pastries. It's not that pricey to print out menus and laminate then. I decided to try the Armenian pastries as have never had them. I ordered the fried beef patty and the beef Armenian pizza. The pizza is more of a thin crust flat bread than pizzza as it does not have cheese. I personally prefer the Latin empanada to the fried pastry. Also tried the cream puff- ok but not worth the $3.50. The chocolate croissant was bready than flakely as it should be. Other people in my party ordered the standard sandwiches and salads. They were happy with the salads for the most part. It seemed like the cheese pizza, wrapped hot dogs and sandwiches were ok. The changing a station is located in the single stall children's bathroom, why? It was busy so I ended up changing my baby on the sink in the women's bathroom. I recommend that they install a changing table in the women's bathroom also. They only have 2 high chairs so if you come with a large group, bring youur own bumbo chaIrs instead. The plastic chairs in the party room were pretty but seemed fragile. I would recommend that they buy more high chairs from ikea that are affordable and easy to clean for their clientele. The kiddos seemed to enjoy the spacious kiddie area. No it's not for kids to visit for free while you buy pastries. They charge $13 per child. Bring socks to run around in the kiddie area.

Yes there's a club and they meet every 1st Thursday of the month at the OneGeneration Senior Enrichment location! My curiosity was peaked and the fact I could get a free plant on my first visit sealed the deal! Parking is plentiful in the front. Outside I thought the building looks small but it's a trick of the eye because after entering through the double doors the room is HUGE and has a stage with a big screen to project the power points. It's so spacious! I was so awed by the plants that were set up that I forgot to check the walls in case they posted what other events OneGeneration hosts but I'm sure I can find it online! As for the club it's so fun! I didn't know what to expect but I already learned some new things and there were so many species I never heard of before. Apparently once a year members also compete and bring their plants and there are thousands of cactus and succulent submissions that get judged over the 3 day event. After walking around and seeing so many new species and hearing other people's stories I'm now excited to be a part of the club! Tonight they also hosted Botany Bingo! I think they do this every few months and when you win you can choose a plant as your gift! I couldn't believe it I won the first bingo round and got a gorgeous cactus!!! For each round up to 10 people can win, and then there's 3 rounds giving plenty of people chances to win! So fun! I cant wait to research what other events are hosted at the One Generation because I had so much fun!
