The wings are the obvious move here. Bella's has built a reputation around them for a reason. They're big, messy, loaded with flavor, and absolutely not something you order when you're trying to look civilized. If you leave with completely clean hands, I'm not sure you actually ate wings. The rest of the food holds its own too, but coming to Bella's and not at least considering the wings feels slightly disrespectful. The atmosphere is exactly what you want from a downtown sports pub. TVs everywhere, games on, people talking over each other, drinks moving around, and enough noise to make the place feel alive without completely losing the ability to have a conversation. On a big game day, it's even better. Service has always been friendly and laid-back in my experience, even when they're slammed. There's nothing overly polished about Bella's, and honestly, I wouldn't want there to be. That's part of the charm. I don't go out in downtown Chico nearly as much as I used to, but Bella's is still one of those places I'm always happy to end up at. Good wings, cold drinks, sports on every screen, and that familiar downtown Chico energy. Some places don't need to reinvent themselves. They just need to keep doing what made people like them in the first place. Bella's is one of those places.

We sat outside by the pool area which is dog friendly and very relaxing ! This boutique hotel has it all and we loved it! Great birthday! (prices have recently increased and dishes are mostly in the $28+ unless your getting the basics ie spaghetti) Don't plan to return for anything but the Caesar salad dressing!

This restaurant is killing people by not following county and state orders. I am a delivery driver and was given an order at this restaurant. When I walked in I was shocked to see a packed restaurant with no social distancing and no masks (not even the staff or kitchen workers were wearing masks). Keep in mind this is during a time where the governor has prohibited all indoor seating at restaurants due to a spike in cases. I told the manager how uncomfortable their lack of healthcare precautions made me and how I recently almost lost a loved one due to the deadly virus and was met with a sarcastic "ok cool", an eye rolling, and then was ignored. All these people need to do is wear a mask, it's not hard. I was very kind in explaining my concern and the staff was incredibly rude to me. Millions of Americans have lost their jobs, healthcare, and lives due to irresponsible and inconsiderate people like these folks. I kindly ask that you please not support this business as they are selfish and do not have the greater interest of public safety for the American people at heart. read more

Roxanne Frias & Jesse Garibay are the most unprofessional people in the industry. I've never seen a restaurant have physical & verbal altercation so often. Also seen their employees & owner consume alcohol while working. There's many videos out of Jesse harming and harassing male & females outside the pub. EVERYONE DO NOT SUPPORT THEM!! The hostess greeted us warmly, got us seated quickly, and we settled into the lively outdoor patio. Great atmosphere, cold drinks, sports on the TVs, and just enough energy to feel fun without feeling chaotic. We started with ahi bites, beer cheese pretzels, jalapeño poppers, and Brussels sprouts. The ahi bites were fantastic. Fresh ahi, creamy avocado, crispy wontons, and a little heat at the finish line. The pretzels were soft enough to pull apart with your fingers and the beer cheese was rich and addictive. The jalapeño poppers got an unexpected upgrade from the blackberry BBQ sauce, which gave them a sweet, smoky personality all their own. Then there were the Brussels sprouts. Whoever thought of pairing Brussels sprouts with blackberry drizzle deserves a raise. Sweet, savory, crispy, tender, and impossible to stop eating.
