Tried this place with a friend for the first time Sunday. Didn't realize until we sat down that the menu was limited mostly to pizzas, but I was more surprised to find that the only nonalcoholic drink you could get besides water was root beer and kombucha. No iced tea or other soft drinks available. The inside lacked warmth so we opted to sit outside because it was a nice day, but didn't realize how noisy it would be with cars accelerating so much right next to you at the corner, forcing us to stop our conversation a half a dozen times. Definitely recommend the food here! Tots, totchos, wings, and pizza are all spectacular! Fresh and made to order, so not super quick but worth it. Great beer selections on tap so grab a beer and some grub. The only real downside is no NA options for beer. Water and root beer, but with so many local craft NA beers around the PNW, one or two on tap would serve so many folks who are recovering, reducing alcohol for health reasons, or out solo who don't want to drink and then drive or ride (motorcycle). Love the outdoor seating in the shade or sun. Definitely a place built for our PNW weather as outdoor seating has some covered areas. My favorite place to have a beer. They always have a great selection of beers. My favorite are Stouts and they always have at least 3-4 Stouts on tap. They rotate their large selection of beers. Went there to meet a buddy for a cougars football game. This bar turns into a cougars bar when the Washington State Cougars play. So a lot of cool cougar fans there. The beers are pretty good there and they have a large selection of local microbrews on tap there. I got the bbq and Thai wings. They were really good. But if you like crispy skin on the wings this is not the place. The skin is kind of soft and spongy. But I woofed them down because I was hungry and they were actually pretty good.. I went to Taps for my first time this past Wednesday night for their trivia, and it was so fun! Very packed too! The staff made the event very interactive, and were very attentive with taking orders and refilling our drinks. We tried the snowglobe drink, and I will definitely be back for it! I have ordered pizza from this place a few times, they had 2 sizes the large was 16 inches. I ordered a pizza this evening expecting the same order I have placed before. When I arrive to pick it up, they bring out this HUGE pizza and want over $60 for it. I am single guy I cant eat that much food. I asked what was going on and apparently, they changed the sizes and now a large was big enough to feed an entire family of 4. I become extremely embarrassed by the situation when they expected me to buy the pizza and was made to feel obligated by the cashier with a warning that next time to remember the pizza sizes changed. I paid for the pizza told them I would never return and left. What I should have done is refused the order and left. This place is a joke. read more

It's an innocuous sanctuary for beer in the safe strip mall that is home to Rosauers supermarket. The menu with pizzas and wings won't wow or impress, but the reason you're at Taps isn't the food. Took my 21 year old son in there last night with his firefighter buddies to celebrate his paramedic certification. Taps wouldn't serve him because of his WA state issued vertical drivers license. Bartender said he could have fake ID. I was supper puzzled by it all and looked up the WA Liquor Board standards for ID and it says nothing about denying service for customers with vertical IDs. In fact, here is the WA liquor board description on their web site: (Any)Driver's License, Instruction Permit, or I.D. Card issued by any U.S. State, U.S. Territory and District of Columbia. Really nice to see Taps discriminate against those who serve the community. The pizza is mediocre at best. Common bar food you can get really anywhere. We were able to take our business to another local brew pub and they also stated that vertical IDs are acceptable for proof of age in Washington State. read more

This place is usually hopping, so you may expect a wait. They recently expanded the covered patio and there is more outdoor seating than inside. The patio is very nice but the sun will hit you on a summers evening as it sets. They have near 50 beers on tap. Most if not all of which are from NW breweries. They have a few kombuchas and wines available along with a root beer. Today we enjoyed the Hawaiian Pizza and the Buffalo wings. The pizza was standard and we enjoyed it. The wings seemed to be a bit fatty(or just dredged but not crisp) for my liking and the sauce was pretty mild. In the past, we've had the Buffalo chicken pizza and Cajun tots, both which were extremely tasty. Service has been friendly and prompt for how busy it usually is. During this past year, I have not been going out to eat (like everyone else)... But ohhhh man have I missed it! My boyfriend and I went here last night for the first time, and let me tell you, we were not disappointed. We walked in around 6pm (and on a Friday). It was busy, but there happened to be one table available, and we were offered it right away. The people working were very friendly, and chatty. We are brand new to the area, so it was nice to walk into a brand new place and get greeted so nicely. I'll just say this now, ignore bad reviews (I mean, you could believe them, but I mean... Just go try it! It's Covid times, and businesses are still struggling. So go support! If it isn't your jam, at least you tried it and have your own opinion) This place is busy, and serves great food, and offers great service. You have to expect a little bit of a wait for a place that is booming with business, right? Would you rather go into a place with meh reviews and not have to wait at all but get mediocre service and whatever else? Or know you're going to a place that is highly rated, has great service, drinks and food? Just food for thought.. (get it?? HA) Anyways, we got 3 beers and the margarita pizza. LET ME TELL YOU. This pizza was the most fresh pizza I have had in SO long. And I mean, down to the dough that was used. It wasn't greasy, or heavy, and the tomato on top was freshly cut and in thick pieces that added an extra layer of YUM. The beer was cold, and hit the spot. We didn't have to wait this time, and obviously we got lucky (since they were pretty busy, and since it was Friday) but if we had to have waited, I would have (for a reasonable time anyways!) it's Thats good people. I only wish the crust was little more crisp on the underside. I would have rated it 4 Stars if it were. The cupped pepperoni is delicious with a slight crisp.
