We are local and have enjoyed many beers here but after tonight we won't be back. We came in on a busy Sunday afternoon. Ordered beers and food and after an hour and a half asked about the status of our food order. They were super busy and we wanted to be sensitive to the kitchen delays! After the server finally checked, we were told they've had "printer issues" in the kitchen. So nothing had ever been submitted...so he asked us do we still want the food we ordered. No consideration for all the time we waited or even something to have while we waited for our order. Um, no thanks. We'll close out our tab and go get lunch elsewhere. Always a great watering hole near our home. Fun things happen there like live music and a trivia night on a weekly basis. A great place to start for a cider or one of many options of beers. They also have sour drinks. All the staff are extremely knowledgeable and kind. They also have a digital app on their table so that you can look up their beers that way. read more

Second time on a weekend that we visited taps. We had not gone since they updated their outdoor space. Very cozy outdoors with space heaters. At some point it got too hot and the staff was able to turn them off for a while. Wide beer selection. My husband had the hazy ipa from pfriem and liked it a lot. For a beer and a pizza, this is the place to go in ridgefield. The staff is friendly and the seating outside is comfortable no matter what the weather is. The heated patio has tvs and is a great spot to go during football season. Parking can be a challenge but its really not that bad. read more

Ok for a basic drink. Food options are extremely limited. I ordered a Cesar salad. It came with chicken, which I didn't order. Still charged me too much after their "correction". Then I realized the salad I ordered would have been a half head of lettuce with about a tablespoon of "meh" dressing for $9.00 - if I'd been charged correctly. Ordered a margarita pizza for pickup, after getting home and opening it they gave us a Hawaiian pizza. Not sure how they could have misunderstood the two but apparently did. The only resolution they gave us was to drive back and they would make us another one. Not a realistic option for us, due to the time and gas to drive back. My suggestion would be to have them read your order back to you and open the pizza before you leave. Very disappointed! read more

The beer selection was great. Lots of stouts and IPAs to choose from. The beertender was also great friendly and personable. The pizza was good, but they could expend the food menu a little. The music was awful, the 80s were not a golden age of music, maybe mix in some other stuff with it. Despite that I will be back. read more
