Enjoyed a drink with the pretty views and yummy fried Brussel sprouts! Kid friendly casual bar with outdoor connect four and jenga. Service was really slow but I think holiday weekend crowd was probably more packed than usual.

We love Taps! Great beer list and the perfect brewery food menu. The chicken Caesar wrap was great and we loved the salt and pepper fries. We sat outside and there is a lovely view of the water. Jessica was our waitress and she was awesome!! Thanks girl

This was my first time going to this popular Petaluma eatery! We were seated right on the edge of the river outside, and the view was killer. Out server was super sweet, although the service was a little slow. Otherwise it was a great experience! The beer list is extensive which is great! I got the Cooperage Amber Ale, which was delicious. We started with the buffalo cauliflower, and it was genuinely an 11/10. The cauliflower was cooked perfect, and wasn't mushy at all. A must-try if you go here! For my entree I ordered the steak caesar, which I enjoyed and would probably order again. The steak was seasoned well and paired great with the salad. It wasn't overdressed and was overall a great meal. I would definitely recommend trying this restaurant at least once!

Always a great beer selection, especially around Oktoberfest. Good mix of local beers. Food is okay, best off with burgers. Good wings.

Came in on a Monfay afternoon. Place wasn't empty but wasn't packed. It was really nice and air conditioned inside but they also have a spacious patio on the river. The service was great, both the bartender and I'm assuming the manager checked on us regularly. If you're not a drinker, they have amazing sodas by Hanks and the root beer is on Draft!! But their selection of brewery beers is fantastic. GET THE SMOKED CHICKEN WINGS. You will not regret it. They were so hot and so perfectly smoked. Served naked but with bbq and ranch/blue cheese on the side. Can't wait to try other things in the menu.

Great fries and cider! Sat at a bench overlooking the river and had a lovely meal. Slightly slower service but food came out fast and it didn't really matter since the view was so nice. Pretty good prices

Shawn won fries are a must if you go. The outdoor patio overlooks the water and its a perfect place for beers and apps. Service is fast & friendly.

We ordered the Shawn Won Fries to share. It had sautéed sirloin, caramelized onions & pepper jack cheese, topped with thousand island dressing. It was very tasty and enough for 3 people. We sat outside and the view was of the river. It was very nice. My only complaint was that they started I think a grill and the smoke was coming in where we sat. It was stifling. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Came for lunch on a Saturday. We sat outside on a beautiful sunny day. I had the Sincere apple cider in a can. It was very enjoyable. The food was fantastic. Everything was so freshly made. My party enjoyed a veggie burger, Philly Cheesesteak and Brussel sprouts. I enjoyed BLA - bacon lettuce avocado sandwich. It wasn't so loud that you couldn't hear one another. The music they were playing was nostalgic from the 70's and 80's. I already want to come back.

I had been to the block before about a few years earlier and remember it being lively and fun filled with a handful of food options and a packed bar. This time, the establishment was almost completely empty with only two food options: the barbecue or the pizza. Both menus were extremely limited in terms of available options. I went with the barbecue platter and my boyfriend went with two slices of pepperoni pizza. While the pizza was decent, but nothing to write home about, I would never order that barbecue platter again. First of all, the mac & cheese that it came with was more like overcooked buttered noodles without seasoning. The pulled pork and the coleslaw tasted old as if it had been sitting out at room temp. I also thought it was weird that they gave me potato chips as another side, but to eat their own. The only thing I actually enjoyed were the side of pickles and who knows if those were even made or from a jar. It was cold outside, so we decided to sit under the enclosed portion of the building and flies swarmed us - they were everywhere and we were continuously swatting our hands around to try to get any relief. It was miserable experience and as soon as we were done eating, we just wanted to leave. I can see why people were not here after the disappointment my boyfriend and I felt.

This is a shared outdoor event space with restaurants, bars, and stage for live music. There was a good amount of people there, probably gets busier during events. I asked the bar about the brewery and was told there was currently only one selection from them on tap which was disappointing. It wasn't the most comfortable place to enjoy a beer either. Even if there had been more to experience, I probably wouldn't have bothered going back. One other note, the restrooms are singles and with so many people there was a long wait to use one. I'd imagine that'd be worse when busy.

As a combined beer garden and pizza place, it features a huge outdoor area with plenty of spaced-out seating and a dedicated play area for kids, including foosball. The food is a major draw, with pies made by SF's own Pizza Hacker. It is easily some of the best pizza in the Bay Area; we tried several varieties, including the Margherita, Pepperoni, and the Ohio. They even offer a good quality gluten-free option, which was great for my buddy. Their drink menu is equally diverse, featuring an excellent selection of beer, wine, and mocktails, ensuring there is something for everyone. While the setting is excellent, the service can be a bit spotty. The restaurant gets extremely busy, and at times it feels like the staff is simply stretched thin. We found the table servers to be much better than the cashiers at the windows, who could be a bit unfriendly. One cashier even insisted he had confirmed our order correctly when I had to correct what was actually brought to us--definitely a case of poor active listening skills. They would have received 5 stars if it weren't for the cashiers taking orders. Overall, if you go in knowing it leans heavily toward a family-oriented crowd and can get very crowded, it's a wonderful place to enjoy great pizza and the outdoors. Just be patient with the parking, as it can be a bit tricky to find a spot.

We ordered fries and a veggie plate to start and the fries that showed up were covered in paprika and soggy like they were baked. Extreme premium prices for beyond mediocre food. The hummus was laughable and ranch was awwwful. We ordered a following round of food with chicken strips, a burger and more fries. This time the fries were completely different. They were deep-fried and crunchy (definitely came from a bag) but a completely different french fry from what we received on our first order. Still the same foul Ranch and the ketchup that was out in squeeze bottles was beyond disgusting it was thin, sour and bright red with tin flavor. Chicken strips were fine, they 100% came from a bag and were consistent with hundreds of other restaurants that purchase the same ones. We asked the server if we could have our burger cut in half and they snapped that they were too busy to do that. The people next to us and across from us had burgers that were split in half... And the burger was a complete joke. Their "special sauce" is just cheap mayonnaise mixed with some of that cheap ketchup (that is probably from a huge can from the top corporate food distributor.) People listing that this is one of their favorite burgers are really missing out on some experiences in life, or they're eating them after their third double IPA... It's a beautiful place, great yard area. But the food needs to open a new document and start again. I can't believe how much it cost for how horrible it was. I'm in shock.

Whether you're into crisp lagers, hoppy IPAs, or something a little more seasonal, there's usually something on tap that hits the spot. We love being able to try different pours, and the quality is always solid. It's the kind of brewery where you can confidently order something new and know you're probably going to enjoy it. Now let's talk about the smashburger. I genuinely crave this burger at least once a week. It is that good. Whoever is making these burgers deserves all the praise because they have absolutely nailed it. The patty is perfectly smashed, the flavors are balanced, and every ingredient is in the right proportion. Nothing gets lost, nothing overwhelms the burger--it's just an incredibly satisfying bite every time. We also really appreciate the setup at the Walnut Creek location. Having separate areas for kids and adults makes the space feel welcoming for everyone without sacrificing the brewery atmosphere. Whether you're there for a casual drink, a meal, or to meet up with friends, it's an easy place to spend an afternoon. My friend expressed interest in one of the sours that wasn't on the menu for the flight, and they were kind enough to give us an extra taste of that one without us even asking! Got there around 3pm and was told that a table for two would be about a 30 minute wait, so it was not as bad as we thought it would be, considering that the whole parking lot (which was probably the only downside; it being made of gravel and without distinct parking designations making finding a spot incredible difficult and annoying) was full. The inside vibe was great, with tons of people drinking/eating and having a good time. When we got seated, we ended up ordering just a few oysters and a 3pc fish and chips. The oysters were pretty good and fresh, with a great vinaigrette on the side to pair with them. The fish and chips, however, were the obvious stars of the show. The fish were nice and golden, with a very crisp texture, and more importantly large and generous. The fries were nicely seasoned and plentiful. The fish was really tasty (you can choose the type of fish depending on what they have on hand, and some cost extra between $2-$10. We chose the standard option for the day: Rockfish), easily one of the better fish and chips I have had - just an incredibly simple, but well executed dish. While the tartar sauce was a good pairing, the real standout pairing was Hook Fish's own carrot habanero hot sauce with the tartar sauce and the oyster vinaigrette. I have never had something like a carrot based hot sauce, but it really works by contrasting the spiciness of the habanero with a slightly sweet carrot undertone. Strange, but it gave the classic fish and chips a unique twist that sets it apart from the competition. While eating we saw tons of different dishes fly out the kitchen as well, such as poke burritos, large portions of chips and salsa/guacamole, and fish tacos. After the experience we had that day, we will be forsure making another round back to Hook Fish to try some of their other options. Their fish and chips are a must.
