Perfect timing for happy hour which starts at 3pm though the menu only had deals for drinks. Vibes: Loved the ambiance inside and outside the patio. We wanted to enjoy the nice breeze and the patio provided lots of shade. For cooler nights, it looked like they had ample heaters around the patio. I can see this place, especially the bar inside, being very lively at night. Service: Wonderful service from our server. Since it was our first time, we asked for his opinion whether or not we ordered too much or too little. He helped us tweak some items on our order and it ended up being the perfect amount of food with no leftovers and almost cleaned out plates. Each dish came out almost exactly as we finished the previous dish. Food: -Crudo (MP): 5 pieces topped with pepper and onion -Grilled Vietnamese Steak ($19): about 5 pieces on a skewers. Meat was tender and went perfectly with the sauce. The "not so sticky rice" didn't have much flavor by itself. Had to eat it with the sauce and meat. -Mushroom eggroll ($12): 3 pieces of egg rolls. Loved the duck sauce and truffle hot mustard sauce -Kimchi Noodles ($20) + add chicken ($8): the chicken served was the Pollo A La Brasa which tasted well with the dish. Nice casual option for Healdsburg that isn't too expensive. The cucumber plate was the highlight of dinner, I wasn't sure how much I'd like the curry vinaigrette, but it actually worked really well with the cucumbers and the dish felt nice and refreshing. I decided to get the kimchi noodles based on all the rave reviews, but thought it was only fine and a bit too oily. Perhaps I'm spoiled by Chinese noodle shops that I think do this kind of wide noodle better. I added chicken to the noodles, which is the same chicken from the pollo à la brasa dish, and it was solid. Quite crunchy and blackened but still very tender. Came here based on a recommendation from a tasting room nearby. The restaurant has a bar/lounge-like setting with a diverse, mixed-variety menu. Out of all the places we had dinner in wine country, I can definitely say this place was my favorite. We had reservations for lunch as we had a big group and a pup. First off, they were so welcoming when we checked in. And I love that it's so pet friendly. Hostess that checked us in was a doll. The inside decor and the layout was so cute. Then there was the grilled Vietnamese steak with the not so sticky rice in a cube form. Cooked perfectly and the crunchiness of the rice was perfect. Also the dipping sauce was great. Beef brisket tacos were another hit. Two orders and loaded with meat and all the topping. Very flavorful and delicious. Cant come here and not have their almost famous chicken tenders. Big chunks of chicken battered and fried to a nice golden color. It was so juicy and served with pickle chips and dipping. You can have it hot or now with the sauce. Crispy duck confit was delicious. Nice potion of duck with bitter greens and duck fat potatoes. Brazen burger, which was pretty massive. Classic burger but better and with bacon and fries. Then you have the kimchi noodles, added chicken and shrimp or without. That dish was tasty. You either love kimchi or not and the way it was prepared with pasta, delicious. And lastly, the special was a hot ham sandwich I believe. Served with potatoes salad and gherkins. It was a hefty sandwich with loads of meat and cheese. Simply but so good. LOVELY! My husband and I dropped in unplanned on a Friday night. We managed to score a table out on the patio. Heated lamps and a lovely ambiance made it the perfect (less noisy) spot. In my Yelp search for best kid friendly restaurants in the area, Lo & Behold Bar and Kitchen was at the top of the list. The ambiance is inviting and festive. Our server Alvaro was entertaining and provided us with most popular dishes. We ordered all his recommendations. They have happy hour on drinks 3pm-5pm daily. The Asian Fusion dishes were unique & tasty. Curry Deviled Eggs was quite interesting. My son loved it. Korean Babyback Riblets was delicious. It was savory. The Asian Pear salad paired well with it. Hello. I am displeased to have to make such a negative review, but I had an horrific experience with one of their hostess. Hostess are hired to be a pleasing, energetic, kind face to welcome you in, and I had quite the opposite experience with their host Eloise. She was very rude when seating my family and I, we were able to over hear her very inappropriate conversations during our meal. I was tempted to grab the manager, but to avoid a scene I didn't. She discussed being intoxicated at work, inappropriate relations, and just overall not work professional. Since it was raining the first time and we sat indoors, I was clueless to the incredible outdoor patio which is where we sat the second time. Great atmosphere with ambient lighting and cranked up heaters which kept us cozy all night. Hubby made reservations for Saturday night and so glad we did! The place was ABSOLUTELY packed. We scored a couple seats at the bar while we waited and loved the engagement with both the bar staff and the patrons to our left and right. It was just so comfortable. (And honestly, if we'd wanted a quieter, just-us experience, we could've had that too.) After some back on forth on the unique cocktail options, I ordered Field of Dreams, hubby chose (multiple pours) of Inman Family Pinot and both were a perfect start. They came out to ask what we wanted pretty quickly, though definitely took a few minutes to figure out what we wanted in terms of starters and entrees. They have a good cocktail menu full of interesting drinks. I didn't note the exact name of mine, it was kind of like Bee's Knees but isn't exactly like that drink. It was really good. We absolutely loved the mushroom pie starter, easily one of the most delicious things with a creamy umami taste. My friend said she would have just ordered one as her entree since she liked it so much, and the whole thing is like a small entree size. I really enjoyed the mezze platter, a vegetarian selection including halloumi cheese and delicious chickpeas. I was really excited to finally try the "Best Bar and Best Restaurant in Healdsburg." First of all, the ambiance is a 10/10. Initially enjoyed the appetizers and drinks, and thought they were great, but overheard at a table behind us that the waiter refused to serve a brown-skinned customer because of their accent... which was a huge red flag. The food was okay, but atmosphere regarding our waiter and the management left a really negative taste in my mouth. Truthfully, I won't be back, regardless of the food, simply because of the underlying racism that was evident here. Worth noting we went to spoonbar across the street and made a comment about what happened and the bartender there said they weren't surprised given the restaurants history. Lunch at a restaurant in the quaint town of Healdsburg. Service was good, and the dishes were served quickly. I loved the flavor and thick noodles in the Housemade Kimchi noodles dish, but did not care for the abundance of water chestnuts. The riblets were just ok. Their drinks are pretty and well made. We sat at the bar for a quick lunch and immediately loved this place. My can't stop wont stop cocktail was beyond perfect. I will be adding this place to my intineray every time we visit due to the kimchi noodles. Literally amazing. Can't wait to come back and eat more dishes. read more

I hardly ever write reviews. This was our first time at Lo & Behold and we were celebrating our anniversary. Food was amazing but our server Melissa is what really made the experience! We asked her to just bring us her favorites and she delivered! The place was beautiful, the food was delicious but Melissa made the experience delightful and memorable.
