The food is consistently flavorful, the meat is great quality, and the homemade sauces are what really make this place stand out. The flavors are authentic, fresh, and full of that homemade Mexican taste you hope to find but don't always get. I have never been to that other location. I was happy to see that they kept the trains near the ceilings from the previous restaurant owner, it's a charming touch to respect the mining history. The menu is very comprehensive, tacos, burritos, dinner plates, menudo, and breakfast specials to name a few. I ordered 3 quesabirrias, a carnitas California burrito, and a horchata for take out. They also had an ice cream freezer in the front for refreshing treats! The quesabirria was plenty cheesy and made even better with the consomme. Carnitas California Burrito was a bit dry and bland, but did deliver on the French fries inside. Horchata was alright in flavor but a tad too watered down. And the salsas are plenty spicy, greatly appreciated the free chips to go. I would get the quesabirria again and try other items. But this place has potential and I wish them the best of luck with their business!!!
