Everything is delicious and the service is amazing, this is the first time that I go there and the experience was great.

The worst Mexican place in Pasadena! Even stepping into this shithole I already knew it was gonna be bad and I should've went with my instincts from the beginning! First my food came out of the kitchen cold... and I'm talking as if someone cooked the stuff and left it in the pan to be forgotten cold... when I asked the waitress if I could speak to her about the way my food was brought out, she ignored my initial request and sent another server to my table to see what I wanted. After two attempts of bringing it out from the kitchen I didn't even want it anymore. Not to mention their watery "queso" isn't worth a damn either! IMO this place deserves NO stars... not only for their shitty food but also homophobic waitresses. Fuck this place! read more

As we were driving through here we found this place by accident. The tacos here are very good, they are not greedy with the meat. The chips and salsa were so good also, you can tell that the chips are freshly made. I would highly recommend this place to people. read more

Food is always fresh and authentic.. My favorite is the fajita tacos and the fajita quesadillas... The fajitat is season just rite with a great authentic flavor and marinade... This is actually named Taqueria Azucena. We decided to go ahead and give it try and we were glad we did! The Mexican hamburger was DELICIOUS! Very authentic. We will definitely come back for that! The tortas were the only other item we tried and were not as special as the hamburger. The Carne asada meat had good flavor but the milanesa definitely could have been better. The wife and I went here for lunch today because it's close to her work. I wasn't sure what to expect, but figured it would be pretty authentic based on the wait-staff's trouble communicating with us in English. We both ordered fajitas and they were awesome! They rivaled Ninfa's for best I've ever had. The skirt-steak was perfectly marinated and grilled and the portions were quite large. The chips are awesome (they are the thicker chips), the salsa is quite good, and they bring out a small bowl of beans as an appetizer that were great too. And it's cheap too! Ok This place is sooo good it's very authentic... the chips and salsa were delicious and full of flavor. The green salsa has a good kick to it and the red salsa is full of different peppers and seasoning and i love that it's warm. The charro beans were delicious and the portion size was perfect. I ate the Castilla de puerco en salsa de verde and it was a good choice because the meat was tender and the salsa was on point. My wife ate the Chile relleno and she said it was good ( I ate a bite and i have to agree). This is definitely a good place to come and grab some food. When you're in the Pasadena area, what else are you supposed to eat other than Mexican food? I mean, when there's more of them than there are catholic churches in the area, you know you're going to find some good tortillas. haha! This place wasn't really my first choice but it was the closest one to the place that we came to deliver some balloons at a couple weekends ago, so we decided to stop by and grab some grub. I gotta say, just by looking at the building, much less once we stepped inside this eatery, we weren't really expecting much. That being said, we went with some basic weekend Mexican food choices and got the caldo de res (Mexican beef stew) for the wifey and some street tacos for me because I mean, come on, how can anyone turn down "tacos de tripa"? For those of you that are too scared to try anything that you can't pronounce, you're really missing out! I'll let you give them a try before I actually tell you what tripa (beef tripe) is to begin with. Absolutely wonderful! Food is as Authentic as you can get! Thought my Grandfather was cooking in the kitchen as the tortillas and Salsa Verde were as good as his. Love this place!!! Tortilla chips are warm and crispy, both the red and the green salsas were fresh and delicious...the fajita tacos were on point.
