Customer service is great. My food is always good. The place is close to my house so I always go here for my tacos. Never a bad experience.

I went to Taqueria Baja express on my lunch break. They do have a parking lot to the right of the building. When I came inside, there was plenty of seating in the restaurant appeared to be clean. I walked up to the window to place my order you can see there is a cook to the right of the cash register making and preparing food. I ordered a Carne Asada quesadilla. Their quesadilla is just cheese and meat. With tomatoes, lettuce, and mayo on the side. It is extra to have onions and cilantro on it. 50 Cent each. I ordered a small Horchata with no ice. The quesadilla ended up being $14 total and the Horchata was around five dollars for a small. I did not order rice and beans on the side. I was confused when my quesadilla was that expensive. The Carne Asada quesadilla was extremely greasy. To the point where I had to let each piece of this quesadilla drained out before I tried to eat it. The flavor of the meat was really good. I wasn't expecting purple onions to be used. I would rate the Carne Asada quesadilla. A 7.5 out of 10. Due to the amount of grease that oversaturated the texture and experience of the quesadilla. The green sauce is spicy and it was good. The hard shot it was a 10 out of 10 it was so good! Next time I go, I'm probably going to order a gordita or regular tacos. I'm a regular. Tuesday and Thursday are my go to days. I'm a chicken taco Brutha. Chicken with cilantro and onions. The staff are nice and friendly. The menu; they Great options. Customer service is fast and friendly. The food is good in terms of flavor, but the menu is somewhat limited. They only offer corn tortillas for the tacos, and the tortillas are fried in grease so these tacos are greasy, but they taste good. Probably not the best for your health, but still delicious. Service: I had terrible service from the young lady taking orders and helping the cook is rude and has a bad attitude about service...she ignored me the whole time. Food: A joke! This was my first time here and I have to say the food is really good. It was a take out due to COVID19 but still worth the drive. I had the shrimp and fish tacos. I just got tacos from a place in Oaklawn because I was nearby. Let me tell you, I will never cheat on Taqueria Baja again! Didn't even come close! Taqueria on 111th Halsted is awesome. The first time I went, they refused to wait on a customer because he didn't have on a mask. It says it on the door and at the window that masks are required for service but he still tried to order without a mask. I was so pleased to see a restaurant adhering to the guidelines and keeping everyone safe. Oh and the food?? Delicious! The steak melts in your mouth, the chicken tacos are stuffed, the corn is delicious and the guacamole is some of the best that I've ever had. Also, the portion size of the gauc is really generous. I am most impressed with the chicken products, while everything is pretty damn good. What is most impressive is the level of customer service. You can tell this is a family owned business and they take pride and treating their customers well. There are several other restaurants in the immediate area that should take notes from place! Disappointed. I ordered the 3 tacos special w/fries and a pop for $7.99. Good steak tacos but small. For that price I was expecting the nice full size tacos but they were the small tortillas. I was really turned off by the amount of food I got for the price. That bag was AWFULLY SMALL. The thing that REALLY bothered me was my total being $9.15. I questioned it before paying because that seemed high. The cashier stated that they charge a 3.99% fee for using cards. I was NOT HAPPY. If I wasn't so tired and hungry I would've walked out.
