Never thought I would be posting a review where we were not completely satisfied with the order, but here goes.............. Really disappointed in the steak burritos, the meat was dry and tasteless and the tomatoes and lettuce was not fresh as they usually are. This is my favorite spot on the southwest side for Mexican food. I've tried many of the local places and by far they have the best quality steak. Prices are in line with the average. Usually plenty of parking in the side lot and a lot of seating inside and very clean. The waitresses have always been extremely courteous and friendly. This is my go to spot. read more

I've been coming here since I was 8 years old with my dad, and I'm proud to say that I still stop by to eat here after all these years. Although the menu may seem limited in what they offer, what is available is always cooked to perfection and packed with flavor. The asada is my favorite, but I can also recommend the al pastor and lengua meats. Additionally, the restaurant is never really busy so you're always sat and attended to quickly. I feel so upset and cheated! I usually buy their Al pastor tacos and are usually satisfied with them even their steak torta is ok. I sent my husband to buy me what I thought was a "milanesa de rez" torta aka "breaded steak" torta. What I got was a greasy ,super thin,mushy ,what appears like breading mixed with very little ground beef with loads of lettuce on a bread. I thought maybe they forgot to add my steak so I call them and all they said was that's how we've been making them since like 2016 and people love them. What the heck, I doubt that! Simple is best. I had the three taco dinner and a Diet Coke. There were plenty of seats available. I came in because of the reviews, and I wasn't disappointed. As for the dinner, I had the chicken, steak, and of course, the pork, or el pastor tacos. The service was quick! And the place is very clean! I really enjoyed the delicious food and the quick service. Another note, the layout looks like a old diner, which is nostalgic. You walk in the restaurant and see where they have the grill and meat on the spit is on one side, and on the other side is the seating area. I want to say that this place has good food. Nothing that amazing. It's a good restaurant with good food and good service. My husband likes to come for the al pastor tacos, duh, which are really good. The meat is nice and tender and full of savory flavors that will literally burst in your mouth. The pastor tacos were okay, but didn't come with pineapple, and you still had to put lots of salsa on it to have flavor. The barbocoa tacos were the worst-- absolutely zero flavor. I've never had meat before that literally tastes like nothing. Lastly we got the chicken tacos, which were probably the best out of the three, but i still had to drench it in salsa and the meat was gray (some pieces even darker).
