Everything they make is fantastic and my favorites are the K Bomb chicken and the Holy Cow (Bugogi) Beef Bowl but you cannot go wrong with anything they make. Always super friendly service as well!

(4.5 stars) I'd been curious about this food truck since I…read moreheard about them last year, and I'm glad that I got a chance to finally try them. Bao Yeah offers not only bao but bowls and fried chicken as well. Their ordering (via tablet) is convenient, and they turn around orders quickly. I went with a three-piece bao, which allowed me to sample the two fried chicken varieties (K*Bomb with gochujang and Garlic Gang with soy black garlic) as well as the bulgogi. All of the bao were amply stuffed with meat and pickled vegetables and slathered with tasty sauce. The thick buns held everything in place, so eating was not too sloppy an endeavor. Everything delivered the expected flavors - sweet heat from the K*Bomb, a tangier note from the bulgogi - and the fried chicken boasted a thick, crunchy batter. It was quite tasty though the chicken was definitely a bit dry. At least the bulgogi was nice and tender. All told, Bao Yeah is a promising newish addition to the Triad food truck scene. It may not be the best Korean street food you've ever had, but you're in for a flavorful meal without a long wait.

She was impressed with their posts and they made it easy to navigate their weekly schedule. We arrived shortly after 4pm on a Saturday afternoon at 801 Silas Creek Parkway in Winston. There were several cars there but no line. We approached the food truck and started looking over the menu. Everything they do features birria style meat. Neither of us have much experience ordering birria style dishes but the young man at the window was helpful in his recommendations on what to order for now and what dishes would save best for leftovers. We went with his recommendation to share the quesadilla now and order the tacos for later. The prices range from $12-15 per item but they also have a birria pizza for $35 which looks large enough to feed several people. We paid with a credit card and we're provided a small device that alerts customers when their orders are ready. This was the first time we have ever received something like this and though it was brilliant because so many times you order at a food truck you are stuck standing close by so you can hear your name when the order is ready. Our food was prepared in a timely manner and we decided to drive up the road before eating. When we opened up our containers everything looked incredible. We immediately dug in and the quesadilla was full of delicious ingredients and flavor. I took a few pictures of my tacos but saved them for later. I'm happy to report that they were delicious heated up. We will absolutely be back soon to try even more!

Triad friends, if you haven't had the chance to stop by this food truck yet, be sure to add it to your list! They are usually set up off of Peters Creek but if you follow their IG you can see all their upcoming locations The service is always amazing and anything you order is delicious. The Birria is flavorful and meaty and their portions are always massive. This pizza is a double decker of meat and cheese and enough to feed 2-4 people! If you're not a Birria fan the chicken tacos are always one of our favorites

We…read morelearned they successfully operated a food truck for quite some time and opened a brick and mortar location on June 1, 2024. Open 7 days a week, it was convenient for us to stop in for an early dinner. There is a small parking lot and the signage was clear and visible which made it easy to find. We stepped inside and immediately saw their health score of 100%! Impressive - we don't see a perfect score often. We were immediately greeted by the young lady behind the counter and the menu was easy to read and navigate. We asked for a few recommendations and my wife chose the #6 Hibachi with steak and shrimp with fried rice, zucchini, onions, and mushrooms with the white sauce on the side. I chose the #2, 4 chicken tenders with a side of mac n cheese and fries. I chose both the moose juice and buffalo sauces on the side. The prices felt consistent with other local chicken joints and after we paid, we took a seat. There was a steady stream of customers coming and going but they were either picking up to-go orders or placing orders to go. We were the only customers who were eating there. The food took a bit to arrive but we understand it takes longer when it is fresh and cooked to order, which we appreciate. My wife was really impressed with her hibachi meal, she really enjoyed it and there was enough to take leftovers for the next day. My meal was very heavy on the fries and the four chicken tenders felt pretty flat and smaller than I anticipated. The flavors were good but the overall size was a bit disappointing. I enjoyed the mac and cheese too. The moose juice was too sweet for me but I am not a fan of a traditional sweeter sauce so I wasn't entirely surprised. My wife decided to splurge and order a banana pudding cup, which she enjoyed but the serving was pretty small and she felt there are other local options that offer better banana pudding. Overall, we would try again and wish them all the best.
