I've brought my family here, and they felt like it was well worth it. They normally take about 20 minutes to make your order because they start making it as soon as you place it. The burritos are HUGE. When they hand you your order, it's actually heavy -- so filling. I've ordered the shrimp and steak burrito and baja burrito. I actually prefer the baja burrito. Also, plenty of shrimp. The steak was chewy and ok, but the chorizo in the baja burrito was perfect with the shrimp. My cousin (a vegetarian) has ordered the chimichanga burrito and she found it filling -- enough for two meals actually. My other cousin ordered a milanesa (torta) sandwich, which she found dry, but it was still quite huge. My sister and aunt ordered the chicken fajita and that was plentiful and flavorful. When you eat in, they have a selection of sauces from mild to incredibly spicy. Very clean and spacious inside. The staff is friendly. We stopped in here after hearing great reviews over and over again. The location is easily accessible, right on Bayshore Road, with plenty of parking against the building and a huge lot across the street you can use. Inside is small, but very clean, and can seat around 25 people at tables + 3 at a counter top facing the kitchen. You order at a main counter and they will bring it out to you if dining in. We ordered take out for dinner on their website. It was easy to do, but I wished they had descriptions of their meals on the menu. We got 3 taco platters and a side of guac. Shrimp tacos: ordinary. Good shrimp portions, but lacking toppings. No tomato, no lettuce. Just onions and parsley. So boring. The sauces they gave us on the side were way too spicy, so I couldn't even use those. Thankfully I had the gauc., which was good. Sausage tacos: my boyfriend liked them but wanted sour cream. He used some of the hot sauce. Quesabirria tacos: my boyfriend liked these as well and used the consome to dip them in. 4 tacos come in each platter, which is a nice serving size. The garnish they put in with the tacos was strange. Raw radishes, a big roasted pepper (maybe a poblano?) and a cebollita. I wish I had order some salsa and sour cream. This is a nice hidden gem in the Villas. It's a very casual dine in Mexican restaurant. You just order your food at the counter, get a seat, and then they bring it to your table. The food came out very quickly and perfectly. The portions are pretty big and are a very good value for your dollars. Even better is that the food is authentic and really tasty. Wow! We read the reviews for this little family owned spot and they were certainly accurate. The owner greeted us and explained the options for ordering - adding they'd make whatever we wanted! The challenging part is deciding what to order. We went for a split of 4 chorizo tacos and 4 shrimp tacos to share. As mentioned by other reviewers those soft tacos are truly FRESH and flavorful - soft but also hold up to the generous but appropriately-sized fillings. They were so delicious - I can't decide which I liked better. I would have both again - or would ask her to choose for us! Our order came fairly quickly with a generous carafe of ice water and hot sauces...and a grilled scallion and fresh grilled pepper which we cut up to put on the tacos. This little place is also spotlessly clean, including the restroom. I saw the owner cleaning up and wiping down surfaces thoroughly between customers to keep it that way. We will certainly return when we are back in the Cape May area! read more

Our visit to Cape May gave us an amazing taste of Mexico...authentic flavors made from fresh ingredients. The restaurant is very clean with beautifully painted murals to represent the culture. You order at the counter but the food is brought to your table along with house-made hot sauces, which are not for the faint of heart, LOL. The kitchen is visible to the patrons...I love that! It seems like it's a family business and they work very nicely together. There are MANY Mexican restaurants in this area but this one is no taco place...this food is the real thing. We dined in one night, and the food was so good we got takeout the following night. Not only is the food so good, but the service is exceptional as well. The nicest woman took our order both evenings and she makes sure you're taken care of. No matter what you order, it will be good. The one thing I highly recommend is asking for their house hot sauces! I love a good hot sauce, and all the ones they make are good enough to be bottled and sold. The red one was my personal favorite as it was spicy and smokey. So many items are pictured. Yes yes yes! If you are in the area this is a MUST! The owner is the sweetest lady I have ever talked to and the food was 11/10. Tacos were amazing, quesadillas amazing (steak and shrimp - my wife says it's the best thing she has ever eaten!) taquitos were amazing... Salsa and guac were both amazing!!! Everything was home made including the shells! So delicious! They were really so amazing in there that I felt the need to make this review and I haven't even cleaned the churro off my hands! Walked in greeted by a friendly face. First time there so it was a little intimidating for me but the counter person was patient and pleasant explained my options. I got a burrito with steak. The one I got had as a ado and Pico de gallo. I got home unwrapped it couldn't wait to plate it up or sit down, first bite was one to remember all the flavors hit. I must say it was a healthy portion a burrito with some heff to it. The place is a beautiful little restaurant with really kool paintings on the wall. Very clean and well kept. It has a few tables the wife enjoyed a portion of my burrito which I didn't want to share but there was enough that I was still full by the time I got done. We can't wait and are going back to enjoy a sit down w the music and atmosphere. Can't wait we highly recommend. Tasty guacamole but overall steak was slightly tough. Ordering and preparation was friendly and fast. Would like to try sitting here with some BYOB and trying some other items. Tasty but value on upcharged meats (steak in this case) isn't great considering the same burrito at a chain like Chipotle is $13. read more

Quite good food. I'm sorry to say, though, that at tourist peak times, they have to solve the problem of being too slow because of all the orders. Maybe cut off online orders for a while? You should prioritize orders for those who are sitting at tables inside. Again, the people are super nice and the food is quite good. This is a order at the counter and then they serve the food and the food quality, service and atmosphere here is fantastic. We went as a group of 7 and everyone liked their meal. The Cubana torta has great flavors, the chicken cutlet was freshly fried and the entire sandwich combo of flavors was like nothing I have ever had and it was fantastic (it's not even what I ordered, just tried, lol). Also there is a lot going on with this sandwich (you would have to read all of the ingredients), however they absolutely work together and keep in mind this sandwich is gigantic. I had the tequito dorado (what I normally know as a flautas) and it was great. I also had the rice and beans which I thought was just ok, however our party had burritos, quesadillas and tacos and everyone thought it was as good as they have had.
