a menu for a mexican restaurant

I was in the area and when I looked up Taqueria, this spot came up. I didn't give five stars because they didn't have all the tacos that I wanted, pretty sure they ran out. The Lengua, Carne Asada and Pollo tacos were amazing. I'm definitely gonna come back and I highly recommend. As I was leaving, I saw four cars pull up for tacos so that's a great sign.

Half the size of my hand, therefore, simple to engulf in three bites. The drizzled chipotle (I think it was) hot sauce added a nice spicy kick to each bite. Two cups of fresh salsa were offered at $2.00. The outside covered patio had seating and was nice today with a cool breeze. The Mexican eatery faces Pine Island Road in the Jacaranda Square Plaza. The gender assigned bathroom was ultra basic and sadly the cartoon ambiance from the dining room did not flow into here. Simple lack of details that were overlooked and could have been an interesting visual conversation piece as was the rest of the restaurant.

When you go on certain days there are discounts on the food as well. On Tuesday they have $2 tacos and on Thursday they have Pastor or carnitas tacos on sale 2 tacos for $5. I went on a Thursday so I was able to take advantage of this amazing deal and they also had karaoke on Thursdays. I ordered two tacos Al Pastor and two Carnitas tacos. They both tasted amazing but the pastor tacos were my fave. I also asked for additional onions. The staff were super friendly and attentive. The parking is free and near the restaurant.

The ceviche is great, fajitas are sizzling, and there are plenty of options for the kids. Complimentary chips and refried beans. Excellent friendly and attentive service with a smile. They must have checked on us 6 or 7 times after serving the main course. Live music after 8pm. Nice clean environment. This place deserves all the praise it's getting and more. Come early because everybody knows how good this place truly is!

There were seven of us for Taco Tuesday, and from the moment we sat down, our waitress seemed irritated that she had to serve our table. We ordered quickly because we already knew what we wanted. I ordered four Birria tacos on corn tortillas ($19.00) and a michelada ($9.90). Everyone else's food came out correctly, but mine did not. The tacos were clearly served on flour tortillas instead of corn. I politely pointed out the mistake and asked for them to be replaced. Instead of correcting the order, the waitress brought back the exact same plate and looked me in the eye while insisting they were corn tortillas. They absolutely were not, and my friends confirmed the same. I refused to eat them and ended up taking them home for my daughter. What makes this especially upsetting is that this isn't just about getting an order wrong--mistakes happen. The problem is that the restaurant chose to lie rather than fix it. If this had been a customer with a gluten allergy or celiac disease, the consequences could have been serious. Serving the wrong food is one thing; knowingly trying to pass it off as something it isn't is completely unacceptable and incredibly irresponsible.

Chilangos Mexican Grill definitely needs to be added to the list of phenomenal hole-in-the-wall…read morerestaurants!!! Even if you know the address, you may drive right past it. The restaurant is buried in a line of other businesses door-to-door from each other, and hidden behind shrubbery. Once you find it, you will know it. There are husband and bride skeletons on the floor in the window by the door. Once inside, we were greeted, and asked if our order was pickup. It was to go. The wonderful and very busy woman at the counter, offered the menu, but we already had one. She was busy not just taking orders, taking payments, and getting deliveries out the door, but mixing drinks, and taking care of tables! She was a one woman army! Outside looks small, and so does the inside. But the layout is done in such an effective way that it there is counter seating, and more than enough tables to host a small event. It is like a small living room that is still large enough to throw a decent party! The décor is authentically Mexican with Mexican pottery, glassware, imagery, decorations, etc. Regarding the food, it is as authentic as the décor. Chilangos Mexican Grill is not Taco Bell or Pollo Tropical! The food is made from the heart and soul not from a corporate cookbook. So if you are a fan of Mexican food, or want to try it, visit Chilangos Mexican Grill. You may have trouble finding it, but once you do, the trouble will be MORE THAN worth it!!!

It was a little hard to find at first but once we sat down and ordered, we enjoyed every part of it! There is a nice variety of tacos so we kept on ordering and trying all of the different ones. Tortillas were nice and warm and didn't break apart, the proteins we got( Chorizo, chicken, Birria) were so flavorful and done so well. If you are a taco lover, you have to give this place a try!
