I was in the area and when I looked up Taqueria, this spot came up. I didn't give five stars because they didn't have all the tacos that I wanted, pretty sure they ran out. The Lengua, Carne Asada and Pollo tacos were amazing. I'm definitely gonna come back and I highly recommend. As I was leaving, I saw four cars pull up for tacos so that's a great sign.

Very friendly, accommodating staff. Got 2 generous tacos al Pastor with choice of corn or flour tortillas, 12 oz drink and complimentary nachos and salsa if eating in! Tasty and crunchy. Nothing over the top but enjoyable. Will come back and bring friends!

So if you need back support, only one table inside had chairs with backs. The rest were outside. The $7 Tuesday special includes two tacos with a choice of either pork (2 kinds), fish, or chicken, and a fountain beverage. Any other choice is an upcharge. You can choose a flour or corn tortilla. Chips came with our meal along with a smoky not-so-good-tasting salsa. The salsa verde in the bottle on the table was better. We got the carnitas and the al pastor tacos with cooked onions and cilantro. The latter was our favorite. Our bill was about $15 for 2 specials. You easily could double the order to get a heartier meal for only $14 each. For us, it was a late lunch and just right. Service was fast and friendly.

Last minute happy hour at Tacocraft turned into such a pleasant surprise…read more I found it on Yelp while looking for a quick meet up spot with a friend, and the timing couldn't have been better. I got there around 6pm right in time for happy hour before it ended at 7. As a vegetarian, I'd honestly been avoiding this place for no real reason, but I was pleasantly surprised. The truffle mushroom tacos on the happy hour menu were excellent, along with the yuca fries and other vegetarian options. I had two tacos, two margaritas, and an order of yuca fries and let me just say, the portions are very filling. One taco would've honestly been enough. Everything was fresh and flavorful: mushrooms, roasted corn, vegan cheese, sauce, and cilantro. It really didn't need anything except maybe a little spice. Service was excellent from start to finish. The host, server, and bartender all very attentive. The atmosphere was lively but still comfortable, and for happy hour seating we were moved to the bar area, which was no issue at all. Overall, great food, great service, and a really nice spontaneous evening. Plenty of parking in the back off University, which is a plus. I'll definitely be back.

Food excellent Service, friendly, quick and knowledgeable…read moreand great recommendations Menu clear and easy to read not too many options, but also not too few. It was perfect and they were willing to do whatever needed to be done to keep the us happy. The birria was incredible I just got Chicharron my brain is still processing how good it was. Maybe a little salty, but even though they were super yummy sauces on the table I didn't need to use any of them but I got sidetracked by her need for a key. The ambience was comfortable, casual, well lit and simple. Camilo took great care of us and answered all of our questions. We left completely stuffed and very happy. If I had to Nick pick, I would say that the lack of liquor license deter us from drinking like we wanted to and I wish I didn't have to ask if the margarita was wine based because we almost ordered it and I'm glad we didn't now that I know. Otherwise, we were extremely happy and I will be back often

First I will start with the aguas frescas. I ordered an horchata. It was $4.99 and was served in a tiny child size cup. When I tasted it, I noticed it wasn't even homemade. We then noticed they used KLASS powder mix to make their "aguas frescas" so completely overpriced and not even homemade. Second I will touch on the tacos. We ordered birria tacos. They asked if I wanted corn or flour tortillas. This is when I knew I was doomed for bad tacos because tacos are NOT made with flour tortillas. ‍ once we got our tacos they were 3 very small tacos and they were not served with cilantro or onion. Overall. I was disappointed and would not return here. Very overpriced for mediocre and low quality "Mexican" food.

Half the size of my hand, therefore, simple to engulf in three bites. The drizzled chipotle (I think it was) hot sauce added a nice spicy kick to each bite. Two cups of fresh salsa were offered at $2.00. The outside covered patio had seating and was nice today with a cool breeze. The Mexican eatery faces Pine Island Road in the Jacaranda Square Plaza. The gender assigned bathroom was ultra basic and sadly the cartoon ambiance from the dining room did not flow into here. Simple lack of details that were overlooked and could have been an interesting visual conversation piece as was the rest of the restaurant.

They do serve drinks in plastic cups, which I didn't love, but the food is so good it honestly didn't matter. Only tiny note: no chips and salsa, but the tacos and rice made up for everything. Even the beans which came out a little cold were great once I mixed them in. If you're craving real Mexican food in Florida, this place is a gem. I'll 100% be back. That's how you know it's good bcuz even with cold frijoles they still get 5 stars
