This place is a small hidden gem. It's not a big space, not a great atmosphere for like a night out or date night. However, the food is completely worth it every time. They have a lot of menu items, and I have yet to be disappointed. My husband loves the mole enchiladas, I love the birria tacos and I know the quesadillas are awesome and huge. Not a fan of their beans, just not for me but that's not what we go here for anyways. The service when ordering out is always great and fast. I don't order ahead a lot of times, as I'm usually only waiting maybe 10 minutes tops for an order of 3 dinner meals. Service for dine in could use some improvements. You can tell staff isn't used to a lot of dinning in, and sometimes are even themselves having their lunch in the dining area in the restaurant. It's all order at the counter, pay and they bring it out for you, so no table service which didn't bother us but not made known to customers right away. We always get food here though when we need good Mexican food. Flavorful, delicious, and portions are worth the prices, trust me. So if you just want good Mexican food done right, at a good price and don't need the big chain restaurant tacky decor ambiance, you have to give this place a try. The vegetable fajitas were some of the best I've ever had!! Huge portion of mixed vegetables! Wonderfully seasoned and served with a healthy side of beans and rice and toppings. They were cooked perfectly. Nice and tender but not soft and squishy! The chicken nachos were also incredible!! The homemade guacamole on top was soooooo good! Tasted fresh and was packed with flavor!! The fresh tortilla chips stayed crispy until the last chip and the marinated chicken was good! Finally I had an enchilada as well! I ordered the Quesabirria and an al a carte tamal covered in chile. The Consommé that came with the Birria was so delicious. You could taste the freshness as well as the seasonings. The tortillas seemed to be homemade which always makes food extra special. The Tamal hit the spot too, I'm a 50/50 girly so there was the perfect amount of Masa to meat. Not your typical sit-down, but there are booths available should you choose to eat there after placing your order at the counter. Great customer service and the cashier was very patient with all my questions! We ordered the chicken mole (I'd prob pass on that dish next time), tamale plate, and 4 tacos...the carnitas (bomb!! Will definitely order that one again), chicken, asada, and pastor. They were good but the carnitas won the show. I also enjoyed the complimentary salsa and the pico and cucumbers that came with the plates and tacos. Wasn't a huge fan of the chicken mole since the chicken was cubed and texture wasn't consistent....and tons of mole..a little too much and on the sweeter side. I will however come back for the carnitas and try other items on the menu. Also, someone ordered 4 agua fresca de fresa (strawberry) and it looked amazing!
