Don't come here for service or good food. I ordered chilaquiles with a side of carne asada. I physically saw the screen confirming she added the carne to my order. When I got home there was no carne asada. I called and the woman who took my order confirmed I ordered steak. At that time a man came on the phone saying he was the cook and aid that was his mistake. When I started to complain that I paid extra he started yelling at me saying I never paid and didn't have it on my order. He yelled at me to come down there and prove it. My boyfriend and I literally order from here almost every weekend. The meat is always juicy and flavorful, rice and beans are perfect, portion sizes are great, and they're affordable! Not only that, but if you have the Uber Eats app, they often have BOGO Free deals! Over time, we've had their quesadillas, tacos, burritos, and taco salads. I loooove their taco salads because the fried shell is so light and crispy! I also appreciate how they're able to fit the shell in takeout boxes. Takeout order [Roseville CA] Stopped by this little cozy Mexican restaurant on Douglas Blvd before heading home, 30 mins before they closed. Ordered takeout for a Steak Super Burrito and while waiting for my food I noticed that some of the tables had the coolest Mexican themed design. Customer service was friendly and food was prepared at a decent time. The burrito was flavorful with rice, beans, cheese, sour cream, guacamole, and pico de gallo. Daughter and I split it and we were both full. My wife and I ran some errands and spotted this place while driving. We decided to stop and try it out. To our surprise, it was really good! The place offers both dine-in and takeout options. It's not too fancy - you order at the front and can sit anywhere you like. The interior had cute decorations and it was super clean. I had the al pastor and asada street tacos, and they were cooked and seasoned perfectly. Their homemade sauces were all so good too! However, my wife's taquitos were a little bland. Revisited this place for their menudo, sadly disappointed. Their menudo tasted watered down.The waitress did not bring any oregano or crushed chili, and the portions were small. About a year ago this place was awesome with its menudo. That food had a lot of love going into it. Today was not so good. Had to get a soda next door at the donut shop because their soda machine didn't work. That alone is a red flag for any restaurant. Anyway the donut shop owner suggested coffee with my order but told her I had to get a soda to wash down the menudo. (Too gamey in taste and mouthfeel was unpleasant.). She told me they changed owners and the food went to pot. I'm inclined to believe her and not coming back anytime soon. read more

I was in the mood for Mexican food and so on Saturday for a late lunch we came in for a bite to eat. To drink I ordered a medium Horchata and this was one of the best I've ever had, large portion, sweet and delicious like a dessert, yum! After looking at their extensive menu I ordered a Chimichanga with carnitas, when it arrived at the table, I didn't know where to start, it was the biggest chimichanga I've ever laid eyes on! This thing had some girth, so I cut it in half with the provided utensils since I knew I wouldn't be able to finish it, even tho I'm a big eater! LOL my boyfriend joked if you finish it you should get a prize, well fast forward I didn't, I took half home! Alright let's get onto trying the burrito.. First bite their was no crunch, I inspected it further and it was grilled not deep fried how a chimichanga should be, but I can only knock off 1 star since it was packed with thick chunks of carnitas, you could tell by their texture and flavor that they marinated them for the perfect amount of time to really bring out the flavor of the meat and provide a nice texture to them! The burrito was also packed with rice, refried beans and some melty cheese! To add to your chimi, it comes with fresh tasting and beyond amazing guac, probably homemade since it's one of the best I've had, and very creamy and beyond amazing Mexican crema! It also comes with Pico de gallo that paired well with the deliciously flavorful free chips from their salsa bar since they didn't have mild salsa available and I don't do spicy! I would recommend giving this place a shot, the staff were very friendly including our cashier Nancy, prompt and I loved the chairs with artful designs of Mexico! This used to be a really good place for Mexican take out. The restaurant atmosphere isn't the best, and the customer service has always been lacking BUT the food which was very good turned pretty bad. The taquitos were so burnt we had to rip off all the outsides. The inside was edible. We were hungry and already home with it. I had a veggie burrito and the tortilla was stale and not wrapped right so it all fell apart. Overall not a good meal. read more

Oh-mah-Gawd... is all I kept saying while devouring my al pastor super burrito (enchirrito style is a must). I lived in the SF Bay Area my entire life and have NEVER had such flavorful Mexican food. Every bite was literally "to die for", especially having not been eating take-out lately. The service was outstanding, very friendly and with a smile. The dining room was clean and organized. This place is a hit and miss. I hope it was just an off night because the Quesadilla was horrible, unedible. The meat was crunchy, not fresh. The tortilla was crunchy and. The whole thing felt reheated in a microwave. There was no salsa and only a tiny dot of Guacamole. The Caldo de Res was just OK. The corn was not fresh. There was hardly any meat and what meat there was, was just fatty. I've eaten here plenty of times before and it was really good. I hope they didn't fall off.:-( read more
