Food is pretty consistent! Can't go wrong with a breakfast burrito. Adalberto's is always a classic go-to for me when it comes to their breakfast burritos and nachos. I've been here a few times and the food is just as I remember: well seasoned, large portions, and fresh. I always can taste everything in the burrito, so I'm happy to have that mesh of flavors. If you go to eat inside, just be aware that the chips are under a heat lamp, so there's a possibility that they can be stale. They were stale twice. HOWEVER, I did go through the drive thru a few times and those chips were not stale. Not sure if it comes from a different batch, or if just luck. The inside is what you expect: minimal decor and just find a place to sit and eat. When I've went to eat in, sometimes a table wouldn't be cleared out until I've already ate through half my meal, even though it's not super busy. Just be aware. I've always found a place to sit. Service is always great- You can't get the green sauce at the salsa bar and you have to ask them. They have no problem with providing extra salsa. This place always hits the spot. I've been going here for over 5 years and have always had delicious food. The #24 breakfast burrito is one of my favorites. Had most items on the menu. The chicken enchiladas are stuffed full of shredded chicken. The red sauce is fabulous. Pictured is the chili rellenos plate with beans and rice. The rice is fluffy, the rellenos are stuffed full of cheese and the Pasilla peppers are nicely golden. Service is simple and friendly, ambience is simple too. We walked in although we did notice the drive thru option. Inside was quaint with a few tables. Irene was very warm and friendly. She took our order at the register. We ordered super nachos with carne asada and super burrito with carnitas and an extra large horchata to share:) we were curious about the churros filled with caramel or vanilla and she gave us a complimentary churro to try. I am a fan of Adalbertos. The consistency in the food from place to place is generally good. So I was thinking it odd that my meal was just okay and not delicious. The Carnitas was fine the Guacamole was bland and there was no sour cream as it appears on the photograph. I took the order home and it was still hot upon dinner time. That was good. The chips didn't have any salt on them and the Guacamole was bland. Sorry guys you missed the mark this time. I'll go back to my favorite burrito next time. read more

This place is always convenient for late night eats, drive thru customer service is always great when I seldomly come here for orders and they always provide all the sauces for your meal. I use to ALWAYS order their Carne Asada fries. Their California burrito was soO good too. I decided to try their shrimp burrito. It was pretty good! I think the only draw back I wish they did was de-vain the shrimp. Other than that the flavors was on point! Love the mixture between the rice, the sauces inside with the tortilla. My kids ordered chicken chimichanga and Carne Asada fries so I just shared a little with them, since I had my shrimp burrito. Have been here a few times, and the portions are large. My go-to items when we stop in at Adalbertos are the rolled tacos (taquitos). 5 of them is a ton of food. Would have shared a photo but was starving and dove right in. Much better option than taco bell for sure, and they are open 24 hours, so if you are jonesing for some nachos, tacos, etc... at 3am you can swing by and get hooked up. We originally ran into them because we were staying at a hotel down the street and wanted some Mexican food. I ordered 5 rolled tacos and some nachos. Big mistake there. We were served a bean & cheese burrito that was the equivalent of someone throwing cold shredded cheese on beans and wrapping it in a tortilla. There was almost no flavor to this burrito and we were biting into cold shredded cheese. How do you mess up a basic Bean and cheese burrito? For the beef burrito/enchilada plate, the enchilada was alright. But my burrito was simply a tortilla with shredded beef. I didn't understand why they simply stashed a bunch of beef into a tortilla and left the beans and rice on the outside. You want me to assemble my own burrito?? The beef had a puddle of water that had made the tortilla soggy. I've been to a lot of Mexican establishments, and I've got to say that was a very confusing presentation of food. At this point I got to admit I became a bit frustrated, so I decided let's me just have some chips. Whatever those chips are, they are not it. We ate for 5 minutes and ending up tossing the food--it was disappointing to throw away so much food but the taste of the food was a big miss. I always love when we stop and eat here. It's right off the freeway. The food is fast, and tasty. It was not busy when we got there and we thought it was a slow day, but the en all of the sudden the place was full. I can have anything on the menu, but the taquitos dorados alway hit the spot. Nice fish burritos! Pretty good fish burritos here! Tastes great, with nice sauce and giant sticks of fried fish. The service is good. Simple process. You pay and get your food real quick. When you want shitty, greasy Mexican food that reminds you of the poor days back in high school, this is the place to go. Growing up in Socal, places like this were everywhere and are basically rip-offs of each other. It used to be Alberto's...then you started seeing Albertaco's, Alerto's, and when I moved up here is see Adalberto's. All of them have basically the same menu. All of them have basically taste the same. It's like a gift and a curse at the same time. You know what you're going to get and you remember thinking the food was great when you were younger, but now you eat it as an adult and you wonder why you ever thought it was good. But here you are, still eating it. Like some sort of sick game with play with ourselves. That being said, I felt like some taquitos and the wife wanted to try their nachos so off we went. What's incredibly disturbing is how fast the food comes out. It's like literally 30 seconds. We ordered, had 1 car in front that pulled out 30 seconds after we pulled up behind them, I paid, and food was out. Granted it was just taquitos and nachos but wth....taquitos fry in like a minute? I dunno. The food was what we expected....nothing good, nothing bad, everything to the waistline. If you want good Mexican food, don't come here. DO NOT EAT HERE. I have gone to other locations and they are good but this one is not. On top of the food not being that great my burrito had a big piece of plastic in it. I was so disgusted.
