A bad food served by the old women who has a bad service.
    Michael S.

The food is disgusting, when I ate it I threw up because it had too much avocado even though I told the women that was there who as well had very bad service and very bad character well I told her not to put avocado in my food but she did and she charged extra for it even though I didn't ask for it and the food was disgusting I don't recommend no one to go there because everything is bad and expensive and I there was also another women who looked way better then the other one a young women and she was way better then the other one and she actually gave me what I order but I haven't seen her no more so yeah don't go there anymore and look for other places that have good and cheap food and good services not like here very bad . Parking: The place where you park your car is mostly full like mostly 99% of the time and you'll take a WHILE to park your car so I won't recommend parking there. Kid-friendliness: Not recommendable for kids, there is a lot of drunk people outside the taqueria so I won't bring my kids to this place because it's very dangerous not only for my children but for other kids and also people. SO SAD.

Got a fingernail in my container when I ordered from DoorDash. Food was good lol. But f that. Nasty ppl

    Chicken tacos

These 4 star reviews were definitely written by people who had a drink (or three) before dining here. I had two crispy chicken tacos and they tasted like the love child of a Jack in the box taco and an authentic crispy taco. If I had been intoxicated, I certainly would have found comfort in the taco grease. Unfortunately I was sober but could still appreciate the traces of authenticity. My daughter had a bean and cheese and rice burrito and it was something I would order again for her. My boyfriend had a steak burrito. His review: "Some foods just taste better at 2 AM" HOWEVER: The salsa is REALLY good! Upon initial inspection, the chips are sad pre-bought thick rounds, and I was super disappointed to see only 3 kinds of salsa: mild red, mild green, and HOT. I was surprised by how fresh and flavorful the salsa tasted. We will definitely be back for the salsa bar.

Amazing breakfast burritos! A must visit in old Roseville. They recently re-opened under new management and have been killing it.

I came here before with a friend several times. You get seated anywhere you want. They served you chips and salsa when first sit down and asked what you like to drink. I got agua de Jamaica, it's iced tea made of dried hibiscus flowers. It's sweet and tangy. I asked for side or guacamole. I ordered 2 chile rellleno with all rice. I don't like beans. It came out within 10 mins ordering it. The plate came out hot. The waitress warn me before she put it down. I couldn't eat it at first. It was too hot and fresh. The rellanos was covered in some type of brown sauce. It was savory and good. I love chile rellanos. Not a lot make it good. But this one was good. I put the guacamole on my rice and went at it. I never got refill of my drink and they never offered me water. She asked if I was doing ok once and gave me the check before I was done. What if I wanted dessert? Hmm The service was nice and friendly. I wanted a refill. There was a lot of people in the restaurant is tucked inside same parking lot of gas station and liquor store. Next to the Oriental Market.

The tacos were good, and had a good amount of meat. They default to a medium-hot. Ask for mild or no sauce if you're sensitive. The chips and salsa bar is nice, and you can take some to-go. The salsas are all hot to extra hot. There is a pico that is not hot. We also enjoyed the sour cream avocado sauces. The burritos are over $13 each, and standard in size. Not extra large at all. I would go again for a nice treat.

They open early and are located in Downtown Roseville. Very spacious interior including booths and table seating as well as picnic benches outdoors. The salsa bar is located next to the soda fountain machine. This is a counter service and they will serve your food to your table. I'm not a pro when it comes to Mexican food but the Mexican-style Steak & Eggs featured perfectly grilled steak paired with fluffy eggs mixed together and came with refried beans, sour cream, avocado, salsa, shredded cheese and rice. Also, choice of warm corn or flour tortilla. Oh, also there were also fries... like French fries? Friendly help at the counter. Food came fast. Review #4001

It's been a while since I have been inside Mercado Loco... let's see how they are doing!…read more Tonight, I did not bring enough of my homemade carnitas over to my clients and she was wanting carnita taquitos. So, I pulled into Mercado Loco because their carnitas is delicious! They have a very compact parking lot with a vendor on the sidewalk selling the doritos that you can put your sauce & lime on. I skipped him today and walked through those automatic doors... I know Mercado Loco has been here for decades. I grew up just around the corner and finally walked in about 5 years ago for the first time. Boy, was I missing out! At first, you notice this is a Mexican grocery store that also offers hot lunch/dinners. The price for some of their items are a little high than your typical grocery store... being that some of the items they offer are higher quality. However, sometimes, the prices do not match up when you get to the front. Cilantro had a price of $.69 on display, but I was charged $.75... it was only a tiny difference, but just putting it out there. I went straight to the hot case and a woman with a beautiful smile greeted me in Spanish and asked me what I would like. I ordered a pound of their carnitas. Oh, heck, give me some of those chichorrones, too. Next thing you know, I'm grabbing some of their hot salsa... I think their hot salsa is one of the best, hottest salsas that I have ever had that I can handle! We're talking nose running, but it's so good you can't stop! Next, I grab some king size corn tortillas. Some cilantro... they have wonderful produce available here... as well as those gorgeous purple dragon fruits when the season is right. After my pound is carnitas, pound of chicharonnes, cilantro, tortillas, and salsa... it came out to just a hair above $40! Ouch, but that is what you pay for when you want authentically cooked carnitas and chicharonnes. When I got home, I was a little disappointed that I was given some of the dried out pieces of their carnitas. When I say dry, it was too hard to eat. So I cut those parts off and tossed them (my carnitas blew their out of the water, btw.... just saying, lol.) The chicharon's were hot and miss throughout the entire time we ate them. Super hard, popping you he l can hear in your teeth, in your jaw... but some parts were delicious, succulent, crispy... yum! I love coming here earlier in the day. When I get tacos, they for 99% off the time on point! They are gorgeous and tasty... and get the HOT SALSA!

But proceeded to give me the order i requested. After inspection at home the smell was faint. But once cooked it almost seems like the meat had been marinated in that fabuloso fragrent liquid smell. This place is dirty and filthy. People are careless of the quality just like the owner. He use to have an other location in Rancho Cordova. But the dirty details about their specials and promotions made me sexond doubt buying anything feom there. JOKINGLY i would ask if the meat was good this time. (Its fresh we just got this batch.)
