This time my wife was with me. She doesn't like salsa so I looked at the price on the queso and it was beyond ridiculous. $6.99 for a small and $12.99 for a large. I told her the price and she said she'd just eat plain chips. Then I looked over the menu more carefully and noticed some significant problems. A combination dinner of two tacos with rice and beans was $13.99. I decided to look at the a la carte prices do the math. The tacos were $2.99 each, a side of rice was $3.19, and a side of beans was $3.10. Ordering everything separately would come to $12.27 so to order a combo would require paying an additional $1.72 for absolutely nothing. When other customers came in I warned them against overcharging and encouraged them to order individual items instead. They thanked me. (I don't drink but I did notice later one of them having to add ice to their beer to make it cold.) Now it's the next day and both my wife and I have had diarrhea today. She doesn't want to ever go back and I don't blame her.

The decor was so sparse, gawdy & amateurishly thrown about the place that it made me question if they'd just hung their shingle that afternoon. The food was tasteless & lacked color of visual appeal. The kids loved each getting their own unopened can of Pepsi, but the thrill was lost on me. I'd eat there again, but only if I was hungry enough and they were the only restaurant in town.
