This was my first visit and last. The place has a nice atmosphere and decor. The place is small so if your party is larger than four you may have to wait. I had the churrasco with rice, beans and salad with a diet coke. The dish was very good. My friend had the birria tacos and a guava margarita. She stated that the tacos were very good as well as the margarita. The problem was the service. Our waitress forgot about us twice. The first time was for our original drinks. The second time was when we asked from more drinks. By the second time there were hardly any other patrons. As well waited for quite some time she never came back to our table. I locked eyes with the bartender who asked if we wanted our check. I told her that we were still waiting for our drinks. By then we decided not to order anything else. After the bartender spoke with the waitress, we finally got our drinks. read more

Restaurant is very pretty but as it has a bar right next to the dining area, it does get pretty loud. I would say it's more of a casual spot and not as great for dates. The birria tacos were good though the consomme was a little watery, and the carne asada and chicken tacos were just okay. This place is terrible. The food is wack, the service is horrible, and there's zero hospitality. I ordered shrimp fajitas and got chicken. When I said it was wrong, the server argued with me and claimed I ordered it. I didn't. I just kept it to avoid a scene. We also ordered a margarita it never came. No apology, no explanation. Then I ordered a steak dish, and it was tough, full of fat, and disgusting. Barely edible. I'm never going back. Cute spot, food is not bad. We got the birria tacos, al pastor taco, and carnitas taco. I didn't know the birria tacos would have cheese since the menu didn't explicitly say that. It was okay. The tacos are larger than average which was nice! The al pastor was by far my favorite with small pineapple chunks for a lovely flavor. Would order again. The carnitas taco was pretty tough and plain. I was hoping it'd have a bit of a crisp but it did not. Wouldn't do this one again. Overall, nice spot, great service. Came here for my husband's bday cinco de mayo with our two young daughters. (8&12) we figured it would be crowded because of the holiday. We live walking distance so we called around 5:30 to see if there was a table for 4, she says right now yes we hurried over lol when we walked in we realized how small it is. We were seated right away. Seemed like it was two waitresses but the one that was helping her seemed like the main one . She took long to take our order but we understood it was busy. Happy hour was all day. We were happy about that $7.50 for margaritas. I ordered nachos with chicken. My husband ordered birria tacos. My oldest daughter ordered steak quesadilla and my young daughter got a chicken nugget kids meal. Which honestly cost $12 i thought that was a lot for a kids meal. She also got churros which she loved. I'm very picky with my nachos. But these were good and also the chips were so crispy that even at the bottom they were still very crispy. 10 outta 10. My husband enjoyed his tacos. But my daughter didn't like the texture of the quesadillas it's usually a soft taco kinda texture this one was hard and crispy. Service was still good our water was consistently being replenished. The bathroom is small but cute and clean. I told the waitress it was my husband bday . She brought him two shots and walked around and gave every customer a shot and had the song "shots,shots" on while doing it. lol what a great time !! We can't wait to go back read more

I wont say say much... food is ok I ordered me the Mar y Tierra I think thats how is called, the octopus was hard very over cooked, steak was ok. The frozen margaritas were good. Tucked away on a small street in brooklyn lies this Tacqueria. Had a chance to visit late on a Monday night and despite only 2 other tables this had a very homey and warm feeling. The service was fast with a smile and the tacos were even better. Each of the individual tacos were stuffed with meat and I felt more full after 3 tacos here then in most other places. That didn't stop both of us from wolfing these down as quick as possible. The Birria tacos though were the true stars. The broth was so flavorful and will keep us coming back. Cancelled my first grub hub order. So they called and asked if my 2nd order for the same items was correct. I said, "yes, pls ignore the first order as grub hub took a long time to deliver. In fact pls donate it if you can." Our 2nd order comes quick! But they clearly sent the first order as the food was cold at time of arrival. I'd kept an eye on the food delivery driver. This guy moved quickly. So no way the food would have gotten that cold within 20ish min of cooking it. I know since we had the same food order 2 weeks ago and the food was warm at time of arrival. Stopped in on a whim just to try a taco. Cute little spot when you walk in. It was empty but it was also around 2/3pm in the afternoon. I ordered a chicken taco. This taqueria was so delicious, the chips and guacamole were both fresh and tasty, and the birria tacos were some of the best I've had. Seriously, get them when you come here! The frozen strawberry margarita and the frozen piña coladas we ordered were also very good. Service was also great, the staff was kind and friendly. The interior is very nice, great decor and a nice atmosphere for dinner with friends or a date. This place is close to our apartment, and it has definitely become our new go-to! read more

Water took so long to be served. Had to asked few times. We asked for water with lemon. We didn't know and was not told that we will be charged $7 for 2 tap water with few slices of lime!! We questioned the charged and she took it out. We eat out all the time and never heard of this practice. 3rd entree came so late we had to ask to take home instead. She publicly humiliated me and my girlfriend to everyone after reviewing the footage with the manager she still refuse to say sorry after finding out she was wrong. I think manager needs to take hospitality classes. I'm not sure if this was the manager or not, but the man literally took my drink without asking if I was finished or not then had the nerve to roll his eyes. I had a strawberry mojito which was like strawberry juice and whatever liquor they used With mint as garnish. Not really a mojito. Drinks served without napkins or coasters. Mango mojito was not really a mojito, I honestly muddled my own mint with my straw. They had one nice server, real sweet looking. But that's it. Service was super slow. The place was empty and it took them 15-20 to get a drink. There was a two top that was not being helped and a 6 top that was outside also not being helped. It should never take that long for a drink. I think whomever gave this place high ratings must be friends of the people working here or they don't know about food and service. Long story short. Wouldn't come here for drinks or service. I don't have food since it was taking so long to bring out drinks. Good luck if you do come in.. read more

Yummmmmm I ordered very well with the 3 tacos - getting Al Pastor, carne asada, and chicken. Tacos are all delicious, and slightly grilled before serving so the tortilla is absolutely delicious. Also the guacamole may seem to be a high price point ($12) BUT it's for sharing with 2-4 people and it's probably the best guac I've had in 2023. Margaritas are very good and very fresh - no artificial or chemically flavors from a mix etc. The atmosphere is welcoming and fun, but definitely not too much. With Mexican made pottery all over the walls and exposed brick with a painting of a bull, it's a casual but hip restaurant. And lastly, the service is good! read more

I went to this spot last weekend with my Mother (for her birthday) & partner , OMG! It was sooo good. The inside of the restaurant made me feel so welcoming & like I was actually in Mexico dining In lol. Must try the Birria tacos! 10/10. The appetizers were chefs kiss. Me and my coworkers get lunch here all the time for takeout and it's always really good quality. The tacos are simple but the meat is always cooked perfectly with great flavor. The chicken tacos are my fave but honestly I've tried most of them at this point and haven't had one I haven't liked.
