My wife and I took a lil minute to figure out what we wanted prior to ordering and the cashier showed patience. We settled on burritos. I knocked two stars off because they messed up both of orders and that made me a little upset. They remade my burrito completely over, but they did not for my wife. They just gave her what they forgot on the side. She was not happy about it. She ate it anyway. We both agreed that the burritos were cold.. the meat, rice and beans. However, we were not going to complain again. I decided that I would add it to my review. I enjoyed the salsa and chips bar. All the fixings that you needed were found there and you could take a much as you wanted. Overall, we won't be returning back here. It was not that enjoyable.

This is by far one of the best if not the best Mexican food in the area, if you don't want FLAVOR don't come here because they don't play about seasoning their food and using lime in their guacamole, I swear they're the only restaurant located in concord that actually seasons their food and doesn't burn the chicken! Today I went and there was only one woman working and she had my food ready to go ASAP! The horchata is fire and if you don't like horchata you've definitely never had this one before because this horchata will change your mind! I really came on here to say that this restaurant is very much into their community. The cashier not only provided food but also advocated for their customer to get their selves checked at the hospital. They also gave them advice and really helped out this man in their community. This place definitely deserves all the customers in the world, so that they can keep helping their community. It's very rare to see businesses giving back and I will honestly be back spending my money here.

They give chips and salsa if you order something + ask for it and they have fresh lime, radishes, and caramelized onions in the side bar where their chips/salsa used to be set out as a free-for-all. I can't speak to the other foods as much since I always default to tacos here, but I've had their horchata as well and it's very tasty! (The large is very generously sized too!) They do get pretty swamped on Tuesdays so there is often a wait, but they try to keep it a minimum. The indoor seating typically gets filled up pretty quick too on Tuesdays but there's lots of seating outside as well!

It was tasty and quite large, though I didn't get a lot of pico or guacamole in there. Lots of meat, rice and beans and a core of melted cheese. I'm always iffy when it comes to steak at restaurants because it can be chewy, but their steak is so soft and tender! Definitely recommend their steak. The French fries with the pastor was my favorite, best nacho cheese fries I've had in a while. The Gordita was a nice crispy texture on the outside from being cooked before adding a nice layer of beans, meat and the additional toppings.

I've been looking for a new local taco truck to hit since the Los Rancheros truck cut their hours (they ain't even open on taco Tuesday anymore!! Wtf?). The gentleman who was working the truck was real cool (can't remember his name). He told me that they just opened up their taqueria around the corner, but the truck will be parked there from 5p-12a everyday. SCORE! Late night street taco fix for the win!!! They had a taco Tuesday special going on: 5 tacos for $10. It's cash only but still a great deal! They also make quesadillas and a few other items too. The tacos are friggin' HUGE! At first I was thinking, 5 street tacos?! Naaaw, I'mma need me about 10 of 'em. But once I felt that heavy plate in my hands, I knew I wasn't gonna be able to finish it. Fully LOADED! He packed these damn tacos up with meat for dear life. Made it all purdy by adding those lovable grilled onions, green peppers, and limes. I ordered two chicken, two steak, and one pastor. The steak were clearly the best. It was marinated extremely well and retained the most flavor out of them all. The al pastor was also pretty good. The chicken was on the drier side and didn't have much flavor. I'd skip the chicken next time. Also, they could have used a lot more salsa. I'm not used to street tacos being packed with this much meat, but maybe that's why they seemed to lack a bit of flavor. It just needed a bit more flavor and a little more of a kick. Some spicy salsa would probably do the trick. Other than that, the tacos were pretty good and cheap at $2 a piece on Tuesday. Not sure how much they're regularly priced, but their taco Tuesday is an excellent deal. I'm excited to try their actual taqueria soon too. I can foresee many more visits to this truck in the future. Next time, I'll be trying out their quesadillas.
