Nachos with carne asada and chicken.
    Nick J.

I love this place--I stop here every time I'm in the area for business. Everything is fresh and tasty, I either get nachos or tacos. The rice is also amazing. Friendly service and freshly made tortillas daily.

Inside the quesa birria taco - cheese on both sides of the tortilla and filled with meat, really good

Can this really be one of those places I've enjoyed for years and never left a review?? Well, TL:DR or whatever: go get this delicious food. I first came across their food truck years ago when they used to park outside Ooooby in the industrial area of south downtown (yeah, YEARS ago). We'd get 12 asada and carnitas tacos they sold for 99 cents. So good. The food truck can now be found all over town at various events, you can seriously catch them throughout the week. I follow them on instagram to know where they'll be. We love their quesa tacos and giant asada pizza, it's so indulgent and worth it. My personal favorites are sopes and enchiladas. Specialties like Enchiladas and Chile rellenos are available at their storefront. I 100% recommend this business, I hope you enjoy.

This taco truck is so good! My favorite is their red quesatacos which are just filled with so much cheese! They were catering for a private event and were able to make a vegetarian version of the red tacos filled with fajita veggies and it was some of the best tacos we've all had!! Their salsas are also really good!

This is for the food truck. The carne asada tacos are $3 each. The tacos are a good size and they are not skimpy with the meat. It looks like the restaurant makes homemade tortillas, but, the carne asada tortillas for the tacos on the truck were not homemade. I've seen them parked at Cross City on Friday's.

This truck serves great tacos and the service is always pretty speedy. The rating is more for my overall past experiences with this truck rather than my most recent visit, which was uncharacteristically subpar. Was pleasantly surprised to see their truck at Gazebo Gardens as I have loved their quesabirria tacos and quesadilla. Both are always full of flavor with a little kick if that's your fancy, and I've always been left satisfied. This time around I decided to get the asada fries and unfortunately found one of the weaker menu items. The portion size is quite generous and it comes with the works, but the flavors of the fries and meat are pretty minimal. The fries look seasoned but everything else seems to drown them, especially the nacho cheese sauce. The meat didn't taste seasoned very much at all, and I think overall it would have benefited from real shredded cheese rather than the sauce. I'll definitely be returning to the truck for other items (still need to conquer the pizzadilla!) but I think I'll pass on the fries moving forward.

Tacos... he's going to eat 2.5 of these!

Definitely a local stand-by. Tacos were large, tasty and definitely worth the price. My nachos were a bit underwhelming due to the cheese sauce (thin and cheese sauce... why?) but my order was a to-go order and I saw a "For here"/ nacho come out just after - It was massive, looked better and had avocado on it. Why such a difference between them, I have no idea but next time I'll order it to eat there. The sales person was super friendly and she even gave my son a little capri-sun for free. Definitely worth another visit for the tacos and the friendliness.

Went to the Jaliscience truck at Fresno city college and payed $2.50 for this?? I've had way better tacos 2 for $1.50 Could've helped to have some toppings and sauce if you're gonna charge $2.50 per taco Look at the picture- askvyourself is that worth $2.50?! I could've just bought some meat and slapped it on a tortilla at home and saved my money.

Taqueria Jaliscience I'm really enjoying these Tacos they are so delicious the meat is tender has has flavor. The tortillas are soft. I really enjoy having them with tomatoes and lettuce, cilantro and onion. The salsa is a little too spicy for me but I enjoyed the tacos without salsa. Lots of people in line but the wait wasn't long. They called out multiple orders at once. Today is Thursday and they are parked at Woodward Center next to Kaiser Hosp.

I must say the customer service is great. Owner is funny guy. complimentary salsa and chips and salsa bar. Tidy place but food packs a great punch. Loved my food. Had me stuffed .

I ate at the taco truck during FresYes Fest downtown this weekend and was thoroughly impressed! The staff are super efficient. There was a fairly long line but they were serving food almost as quickly as they were taking orders, so there was only a 2-3 minute wait after ordering. I got two tacos - one carnitas and one carne asada. They were $2 each. The tortillas are homemade and freshly grilled, and you can see the little machine and the cook grilling them from the window. After I picked up my order at the window, I went to the station to dress them. There were a few salsa options including a green tomatillo, and veggies aplenty. Although I was a little disappointed to see there weren't any grilled onions on the carne asada, I got a healthy serving of cilantro and onions, and fresh cabbage to top them. They gave a healthy serving of meat - I didn't feel short-changed and there was not so much that I wanted to brush some off the tortilla, it was just the right amount for me. The carnitas was good, not too salty, and very tender. The asada was really delicious and savory, and the raw onions more than made up for the lack of grilled ones in the meat. I'll definitely be getting back in line next time I see this truck around!

Food was average. Not worth $9 for a small-ish burrito half-full of rice and $3 per small taco with a single tortilla.

I don't think I've ever felt betrayed by Yelp reviews...until now…read more During a recent road trip we stopped here to picked up some lunch/dinner because tacos are quick and easy and their Yelp rating is high. Location/services: Upon entering the building I immediately noticed the heat. It was a hot 98 degree day and the restaurant felt like an oven and was maybe 3-5 degree cooler than it was outside. I then quickly noticed this was a very simple operation (almost like a food truck), and not much to the menu, but there were folks sitting and eating and a few others waiting to order, so I assumed the food must be great. We ordered 4 meals (tacos with rice/beans) which was meant to be eaten there but after waiting in line and feeling like we were in a hot box, we decided to make it to go. We sat and waited for our food (about 20 mins), we chatted and observed our surroundings and it became very apparent the restaurant was not maintained with basic cleaning because it was very grimy and just plain dirty. I then used the restroom and it was absolutely disgusting. Our ordered was called and the staff was very nice. The food: As I mentioned, we got 4 orders of tacos (all carne asada) with rice/beans, and we asked for salsa and limes. We got grilled jalapenos, lemons and one sandwhich baggy filled with red salsa. Not a big deal. The meat was fine but the tortillas were inedible. They were tough, flavorless, and greasy. The bean and rice were ok. We ate enough to curb our hunger but none of us finish our food. Upon my best judgement, I had convinced myself that the food was gonna be great because their Yelp rating told me so. I was so wrong! One last note, there was nothing here that resembled a bakery/panaderia. So if you think you could also grab a treat here, you are wrong.

This place is officially bookmarked for every future drive through Fresno!…read more The lengua and chicharrón tacos were honestly some of the best I've ever had. I also sampled the carnitas on top of crispy taco shells as well. The meat was incredibly tender, juicy, and packed with flavor, and the tortillas came out hot, fresh, and perfectly cooked. Every bite reminded me why simple food done right is hard to beat. I was hoping to try the mojara frita, menudo, and barbacoa, only to find out the menudo and barbacoa are weekend only specialties. Needless to say, I was pretty disappointed, but it also gives me a great reason to come back. What really stood out, beyond the food, was the hospitality. David, who appears to have been running the place for over 20 years, was incredibly charismatic and provided the kind of customer service that seems harder and harder to find these days. You can tell he genuinely cares about both the restaurant and the people who walk through the door. One of my favorite parts of the visit was when I saw the owner come out and greet the regulars and customers. The interactions felt sincere and heartfelt, not forced. There was a real sense of community here, as if customers weren't just patrons but part of an extended family. That kind of atmosphere is special and says a lot about the people behind the business. Great food, warm hospitality, and a welcoming environment--I'll definitely be back, hopefully on a weekend next time.

What could have been a disappointing surprise turned into one of the best local dining experiences we've had in a long time. We had the pleasure of meeting Miguel himself, and his hospitality immediately stood out. He took the time to introduce us to several items on the menu and encouraged us to try a little bit of everything. I'm glad he did. The red beans and rice were absolutely phenomenal, and every single thing we tasted was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with pride. You can tell Miguel genuinely cares about both the food and the people he serves. What impressed me most wasn't just the food--it was the atmosphere. Miguel has a gift for making you feel welcome. His heart for hospitality is second to none, and it's obvious that serving great food and creating a great experience are his top priorities. If you're looking for a hidden gem in Clovis, this is it. Whether you're stopping in to catch a game, grab a meal with friends, or enjoy a simple flip-flop date night with your spouse, Miguel's is worth the visit. We'll definitely be back, and I can't recommend this place enough.

Miguel sells his auntenthic mexican food and Lisa sells her favorite sweet treats. By far on the market, they sell pretty bomb salsa! It's not like the generic salsa from store bought one, it's just like the unique homemade family recipes. And trust me, these are not as supper vinegary. I love Miguel's salsa! Miguel's message was to serve his community and bring his tradition to the table. He brought the flavors of Michoacan and Jalisco Mexico which were passed down from the Segura family. SERVICE :: I love Miguel's service! He personally serves you and greet you there. He offered me free chips and salsa while i wait. They were quiet busy but get things done quickly too. RATE : 5/5 SALSAS & CHIPS - COMPLIMENTARY:: His salsas and chips were the best thing I've ever recieved. He serves his famous red and green salsa with a little bit of ground beef on top. They go so well together. RATE : 5/5 RED SALSA :: It's hard to describe it here but it's roasty burnt salsa full of flavors. Not too vinegary. You just got to try it in person. RATE : 5/5 GREEN SALSA :: I personally love the green sauce more, in general. And still Miguel's green salsa still beats the red salsa. I can taste all of the greens and fruit in it. It may be advertised mild but the heat is there. It's about almost the same spice level as the red salsa. RATE : 5/5 ASADA TACO ($3.49) :: Besides his salsa, his tacos were amazing too. It's well seasoned, unique, and full of flavor. The asada is something that I've never tasted before. It's very herby, well seasoned to taste, juicy and tender! RATE : 5/5 TACOS DORADOS ($4.49) :: The tacos dorados were something different from what I've had before and were absolutely delicious. This taco reminds me of birria. The texture and flavor were also amazing. I asked for pork, it was supper moist, tender and juicy full of flavors. The cotija cheese brings a nice dry and light cheesy taste to it. And lastly, those pickled jalapeno just give a pop of juicy, sour, and spicy flavor. RATE : 5/5 PISTACHIO CREAMES ICED MATCHA (16oz - 6.49) :: Lisa use Tenzo brand. I've used and tried Tenzo before and it's hard to ratio the matcha. Over portion Tenzo match will be too bitter and too little too diluted. And yes, Lisa's Matcha was on the diluted side. The pistachio flavoring is light and taste artificial. The sweetness level is perfectly sweetend. Not too sweet. RATE : 2/5 NOTE : Spend anything above $50, get a $5 dollar off voucher for the next purchase. OVERALL :: Overall, it's a hidden gem that's definitely worth checking out! Don't forget his salsas, he do sell them on the side. I'll definitely go back for more and try his other menu!
