Chips and salsa. We love the mild salsa.

This is one of our favorite local Mexican restaurants. They have a front room with seating and then also quite a few seating options in the back bar area. It's a really low key casual place. Not fancy at all. The service is always great. We are able to order more chips and salsa for free, unlike another local spot in McMinnville. They have a full bar, fountain soda, and bottled Mexican sodas. We love the chips and salsa. However we do order the mild. We just like the flavor better. Husband loves the chicken mole'. He says he is always too full after eating the plate. They give a lot. I really like the chicken taco salad. I also get super full. But I definitely eat too many chips. It's a chain but we've only tried this location. I definitely recommend this little spot. Enjoy!!!

While most restaurants and cafes shut down during the ice storm, El Toro was opened. We came get on a cold, icy, Friday night for dinner. The chips and salsa that started out our meal were tasty and the mains gave us fuel to go out into the chilly evening. I enjoyed the steak rancheros and loved my Del Toro Margarita. I appreciated the hospitality and atmosphere at El Toro and would definitely go back to try another dish.

We arrived for lunch and ordered a 3 taco (shrimp, chicken and steak) plate with rice and beans and a chicken quesadilla. The tacos were delicious! Fresh ingredients cooked to perfection piled high in a soft fluffy warm corn tortilla. The quesadilla had an impressive amount of chicken and cheese then delicately toasted. For dessert we took flan home, it was so delicious!

Atmosphere is comfortable but not remotely fancy, you walk up to a counter and order (or call ahead) then wait for your food at a table and either dine in or take out. I like the carnitas but I love the chile rojo which is my go-to meal, and excellent warm corn tortillas make it that much better. On a recent visit I ordered guacamole which was good but the tortilla chips were sadly a bit stale however this would by no means prevent me from coming back as soon as I can. Great, authentic Mexican food (well, admittedly I'm not the foremost expert but I know good Mexican food and was about the only one in the restaurant not speaking Spanish) in a nice local place is hard to beat. Definitely check out Martha's Tacos & More if you can!

Ice water at the utensil stand. Service was so friendly. There were meats we were unfamiliar with, so the counter staff offered us a small sample. Barbacoa is now my jam! We ordered 4 meals: Chile relleno, tamale special, torta, & enchilada special. The specials are well-priced at under $12. We stopped in about 45 minutes before closing and staff did not rush us out. Nothing fancy ambiance-wise and this place looks similar to other Mex places on Front St. So make sure you're in Luis'!

No business embodies the vibrant Mexican community of Woodburn more so than Luis's Taqueria…read more Located along the strip of businesses on Front Street, this family owned business have been a perennial destination for Michoacan-style Mexican fare for over 3 decades. The first thing folks will notice is the colorful decor of paper piñatas across the ceiling and the spacious digs with lots of 4 top tables for some limited group action. Orders are placed at the counter and the menu is vast enough where there is something to offer for everyone. Some immediate recommendations would be their tamales platter, along with their enchiladas rojas, and their Americanized tacos dorados. Their burritos are especially large and a complete gut bomb for anyone looking for a major filler. Their ceviche tostadas are beautiful, along with their layered tortas, and hearty chimichangas. While I don't love their corn tortillas or the tacos, I would be down to give them another shot. Cabeza and carne asada especially. The prices have crept up over the years, to where many items have hit the sub $10+ range and even tacos are at $3.50 a pop. There is a price to pay for fame, but the only time it should be dinged is if the price no longer matches the quality. Ultimately, this will always be one of the city's most popular lunch destinations and local haunts. It's so well known that Obama has been here (#1) and continues to bring in new faces every week. This is a must visit for any Mexican food lover and especially for first timers in Woodburn. ____________ (#1) https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/luiss-taqueria-woodburn?select=iYjRIeJrLS47keUaG0_vVQ

Adabada was a step above the carne asada. Now the sides were not good. One single radish for 4 tacos, and my wife got 4 tacos with NO radish, I don't know why. Grilled onions were great and limes were juicy. Now here comes the service. So the service was abismal. I first ordered 5 tacos in line, no one behind me and one person in front of me. I ordered and the lady repeated it back to me and I said correct, so I get to the window and she pulls up saying "you had the ten tacos, correct?" And on the fly I just said yes because I didn't want to be cause a problem or have them throw them away but not happy I had to spend another 15 bucks. Also, I came the day before and tried to get tacos and the lady gave me a chicken quesadilla. So clearly the workers are not organized or care to make sure the customers order is right. So just go with caution that you might not get what you ordered, or just open your order before leaving like you do when you go to most fast food restaurants. I wanted to give this place a better score like a 4
