Came here for lunch and got a burrito, taco, and quesadilla. Everything was good and they have Mexican Coca Cola. Burrito was an average size. Order at the counter and there are a few tables inside. Small parking lot or street parking.

Small little gem here in Coalinga! I had my first taste of the carne asada fries and so far they are the best in town. Would have over and over again. Can't wait to try everything else on their menu. The owners were super nice too! Great customer service.

Awesome food - authentic and inexpensive. We ordered chicken and beef burritos, carnitas tacos and horchata. Everything was so good.

I was seated in the bar area (no choice offered), which was odd as this was mid-week and the place was far from crowded. I was attended quickly and placed an order for a Tanqueray martini. It arrived well mixed. I decided on a porterhouse after confirming with my waiter that the filet would not resemble a t-bone, but be a full filet as a porterhouse should. The steak was cooked properly, salad and sides fresh and delicious. I took off a star because my waiter gave up on me. He had checked in several times (I eat really slow these days and it was a lot of food) and the last time offered to bring me a box. I was ready to order dessert, but after a full ten minutes of an invisible waiter, I went to the hostess and offered to pay. She said she would send my waiter to my table. So, back to my table I went and waited some more. By the time he arrived, I was very unhappy. I had planned on coffee and dessert. But ended up going to the gas station next door and picking up some canned espresso and cream. Walking to my car, was an olfactory assault. If you've ever driven past Harris Ranch and the miles of cows standing under the shade structures in their own feces, you have a mild sense of what I experienced. But this was so much worse. My eyes began to water as I imagined I was walking through the feed lots. The stench of urine and cow crap was obnoxious. Some way to end an otherwise good meal. Between the service and the outdoor aroma, I doubt I'll return.

We had read that they accommodated a lot of RVs and people with U-Haul's, etc., so felt safe staying there for the night. Checked in about 9 PM. Everybody was super helpful. We have our cats with us so we were a little stressed out about how it was going to be, but they made sure that we were comfortable and we were in a really nice, large and clean room. I did think that the property is a little bit dated. They've done a good job with upkeep. The only issue I really had was that when I got out of my car there was a very strong animal smell. I asked at the front desk with that smell was, and they said that it was fertilizer that they applied to the fields that night. It was intense. We got up and we're back on the road by 5 AM. Unfortunately we did not get to try the restaurant although I heard that their steakhouse is excellent. Also, the pool looked really beautiful and clean.

I've been interested in eating here for about a year. For about a year, we have been making Dunkin Donuts our mid-point stop on our way to the beach. Both to and from. That's because we always bring our dog with us. Plus my youngest always needs to "go" before we reach our destination.. Idk why I posted only this, but there's much more to talk about. Today, we pushed ourselves further than we should have and are in desperate need of food. The majority want Mexican, so I suggest Chalio's. There are other Mexican restaurants, but this one is in the main area and looks the most maintained. Looks can be deceiving though. Maybe at one time this was a decent sit down restaurant. Now it looks pretty run down. The restrooms are the most telling. I don't think anyone really cleans them. Probably just restocks them. The trash cans were overfilled, and the menu has also been taken over by bright paper covering old menu items and advertising new. Considering the size of Kettleman, this is par for the course, sadly. But the food. The food is great. We got the birria tacos and asada fries because they were out of nachos. What was supposed to be a quick to-go stop turned into a sit down because the kids asada fries took so long. I didn't mind. I was driving and needed time to eat. The birria tacos themselves were just OK in my opinion. Nothing a few squeezes of lemon wouldn't fix. But my friend from Ghana who traveled with us was blown away. He got the regular tacos, which have become his favorite food here in California. I guess if you've never had birria tacos before, these would be good. His eyes widened from his one bite, so it looked like he was experiencing something spiritual lol. If you're looking for clean restrooms and good Mexican food, park at Dunkin, do what you need to do, and walk over
