Carnitas, Pollo and El Pastor tacos

Third time here for lunch and the tacos de carnitas, pastor and barbacoa hit the spot. With a side order of queso and chips. They have friendly service that is very welcoming. Vibe here is very lively with a twist of some good Mexican music to top off this good restaurant.

....... READ THIS REVIEW ......... Very good food, reasonable prices and fun casual setting. Although I only had a quick lunch there - I'm coming back to try more items. Chicken Quesadilla: Really good! I like them a lot. Handmade tortillas, shredded chicken that is very moist (not greasy), flavorful and perfectly seasoned. White cheddar cheese and perfectly proportioned with to the ratio of chicken. Normal thickness (you don't feel jipped.) Very soft spicy heat at the end (not bad at all, heat is 2 out of 10). Overall score 9 of 10. Service was super fast (3-5 minutes and food was ready). Guacamole is really good. Most add-ons come on the side. If you want to add grilled onions on the inside - order it that way or they are 'on the side'. Also, the lettuce had tomato bits on top along with a full drizzle of sour cream. If you want only lettuce, be clear. Definitely go! I'll be back too!! Total score: 8.5 out of 10 (very casual)

Nice place, chill vibes, but the tacos were not so great. I ordered 4 Barbacoa tacos and I barely got through 1 of them. A lot of it was fatty. Luckily I ordered chips and queso, too. The queso was delicious and thankfully so because otherwise, my entire meal would have been a waste. I'm hesitant to come back, but the crowd this place gets is making me think this was a one-off situation. I guess we'll see.

I have been to this spot couple times!! I haven't been in over one year or so! But this will be the last! The tacos were bad! They were not nasty gross but they were not good at all!! Tacos de carnitas: not good! Lacking flavor! Carnitas was too mushy! Tacos de bistec: too dry lacking flavor Tacos de barbacoa: way way too greasy! Not enough flavor! Corn: no flavor- They charged me twice for my food! The only good thing here was the decor! I was a fan of this place but not no more! Totally disappointed

You have to try their street tacos here. I highly recommend the barbacoa. IT'S SO GOOD! The meat is super juicy and flavorful. It'll transport you south of the border through a culinary and cultural experience. All their tacos are less than $3. Plus, the traditional white corn tortillas are handmade daily in the restaurant. You wouldn't think a Mexican place has a good burger, but the al pastor burger here is quite tasty. For the pineapple lovers, it includes grilled pineapples, which gives it a blend of savory and sweet. It's not a party without margaritas! Make sure to get the frozen mango margarita. It'll hit the spot. If you like a little spicy, try the version with Chamoy!

My go-to order: 2 Barbacoa 2 Carnitas 2 Pastor Guac & Chips Maybe I will order two more, Lengua possibly. This location is our favorite for their service and music!

Always great authentic food. Ambiance is great and makes you feel like you're in the heart of Mexico. My go to for street tacos.

Affordable & tasty tacos & margs! Especially love the covered patio at this location. Plenty of seating inside & out.

Pretty good cheap Mexican food, but nothing special. The nachos were a bit bland but the queso definitely made up for it. There was a cool vibe to the restaurant with artwork everywhere. Service was fast, I'd stop by again if I'm in the area.

Met up with my date here...this isn't my favorite place but my daughter likes this spot more than I do. The tacos were chicken, and he had beef (I'm not sure What types of meat) were used. I know I was questioning whether it was real or imitation chicken meat. The drinks are always pretty decent. I wanted the Watermelon Frozen Margarita but that wasn't a selection. I'll return I'm sure but I'm not sure if I'll eat anything maybe grab a few drinks.

Extra charges were not itemized. It was not until my friends sat down that we saw how much more I was charged
    Trevor H.

This location, not sure about all locations, will nickel and dime you. They do not tell that Flour instead of corn is Extra. And they certainly don't tell you that extra onion/cilantro is charged as well. What should have been 16$ for 5 tacos ened up being 21$. The food is good, but it is not worth the price nor the hidden charges

Once we got inside, it was maybe 8:45. At 10 PM, it turns into a night club with bottle girls wearing fish nets and 80's French cut bodysuits. The cheeks were OUT, that's for sure. This is not the place to go to to unwind after a long work day. HOWEVER I love the ambiance here. The decor is such a vibe. There were other areas we could sit,I think the front room area is just for the bar? Then it opens up to the big dining room and another bar? My friend's salmon came out raw-- I've never heard of a salmon requesting a temperature-- that's more of a tuna steak thing?? Anyways, she sent it back and got a fully cooked piece of fish without problem. Great food once everything was correct.

We arrived before the lunch rush during the week and still had a 20 minute wait. I figured out it was probably due to a waitstaff shortage because there were plenty of tables available. I do love the decor of the restaurant and love the decorative glass on the ceiling. After our buzzer went off, we were shown to a table near the back. I noticed several really long tables filled with huge parties of business people. I ordered my usual entree - tamales and hubby ordered chicken enchiladas. I love snacking on the warm black bean dip and chips. I have to make myself stop eating them so I'll have room for my meal. I can only eat one tamale, do I took the remaining 2 home to enjoy later. I showed my server the email on my phone for a free flan. I'm not a real fan of flan so I asked if i could pay the difference between the cost of the flan and the churros, which I much preferred. He came back after checking with his manager and told me they couldn't do that. This was very disappointing to me. I was really looking forward to churros, not flan. I asked if I could take the flan home and it was packaged up. We enjoyed our leftover tamales and enchiladas. I really didn't care for the flan, so I doubt if I will go there again for the birthday freebie. I know I could have also ordered the churros and just paid for them, but it was only a flight difference in cost. I would have thought that if they truly cared about customer satisfaction, especially for a special event like a birthday that they might have made the requested accommodation.

The initial arrival was entirely seamless, as I was able to secure a most convenient parking space directly on the street. Upon crossing the threshold, I must confess my initial impression was that the venue might be somewhat ordinary however, I was instantly disabused of that notion. The interior architecture features a truly magnificent, extensive collection of vintage typewriters alongside an absolutely breathtaking, grand display of fine wines. Having personal experience with typewriters from years past, I found their impressive stock to be thoroughly nostalgic, and the wine selection was nothing short of exciting. While the venue beautifully accommodates guests for delightful alfresco dining, I escorted myself inside to a highly comfortable table. The gentleman assisting me was exceptionally warm, providing a level of attentive hospitality that makes the entire excursion worthwhile. For my afternoon refreshment, I requested a crisp Blackberry Smash. While engaging in a brief, lovely conversation with the waiter, he elegantly suggested a curation of bruschetta pairings that would harmonize beautifully with the cocktail. On his superb guidance, I selected a quartet: the Goat Cheese & Spicy Pepper Jam, the Tomato & Mozzarella, the Apple Brie & Fig, and the French Onion Bruschetta. The kitchen executed the order with commendable precision. When the board arrived, the presentation was an absolute masterpiece and the entire flavor profile was a complete delight. The sophisticated combination of savory, sweet, and crisp textures left me thoroughly happy. It is an absolute treat of a destination, completely worthy of one's dining calendar. I am entirely enamored with this exciting new find and shall most certainly be returning

I was planning on finding some local take-out for the hotel room while finishing some work, but ended up eating in this great find within a local strip mall. It's enough for 2 or 3 but I killed it, it was that good! The service was great, waitress was kind and helped me make decisions and part of the reason I decided to stay. The owner stopped by to say hi, such a nice gentleman who clearly puts his all into this fine establishment. The Ambiance is very nice, clean and uniquely decorated. Not traditional or trendy like most Mexican restaurants, airy and carries an overall good feeling.
