Tried them for the first time yesterday and it was so damn good. Greatly priced for portion, paid bout $13 for 6-7 tacos? Made em fresh. Includes grilled cebollas (onions) and a grilled jalapeño plus your standard cilantro and onion. You can see through the window and watch them making it. The salsas are good. Some ppl said they were spicy but I didn't feel they were, but I'm also a "hot" head. Going back again today Update: went back today and prices miraculously changed. I paid $14 for 6-7 tacos yesterday. Today I ordered 14 and it was $47. I left them. I've never ever paid that much for tacos and never will. They're good but not $3.00 a tacos good. Met a friend here and had a very good experience. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially since I don't speak Spanish. The ambiance was pleasant, not fancy, but functional. The food was pretty good. I just had a couple chicken tacos. read more

The breakfast tacos are consistently great. Service is friendly. Easier to order and customize in person than ordering through an app. The eggs ala Mexicans are made fresh and it tastes great. I like to add beans to the tacos. The Agua Frescas are tasty as well. read more

Door dashed this place on their recommendation while on a trip down south. They definitely understood the assignment! I ordered 1 carne asada taco, I carne asada sope & 1 carne asada Gordita. Well I want to apologize lol I was so hungry I took a picture of the Sope after I had already destroyed it, the taste was amazing.. I got the chorizo, portion size for everything was definitely worth it, you can taste the authentic and freshness, I would definitely recommend this place to anyone that wants to eat something authentic and delicious. The Mole Casero / Homemade Mole was amazing by the way. The tacos are so damn good! The only thing I could complain about is, depending on what meat you get, the steam can make the outside tortilla a little soggy. I got one of pastor, barbacoa, and chorizo. All of them are equally delicious, and Id say order what you gravitate towards the most. The green sauce is refreshing but carries enough of a spicy kick to feel exciting. Their tortillas are no doubt handmade. You can see the equipment and process unfold as they are making them, depending on when you are there. While they arent the best tortillas you will ever have, they are way better than the standard tortillas you get at the grocery store. Their chips are fantastic! They clearly make them in house and fry them dense and crispy! Couldn't pu thtem down, even if they can be quite filling! Since I was in the mood for it, I got the chilaquiles. The same delicious chips are used, with a fried egg and fixing scattered about. Granted these arent as loaded as I would have wanted, but it was still a delicious breakfast dish. read more

This restaurant is so inviting. I was greeted when I came in. They have a small station across the entrance where they make fresh tortillas and also where you can pick them up. The previous times I've been I've always grabbed takeout, but this time I ate in. I grabbed 3 Pollo Tacos and a small box of Flan Napolitano. I was served large portions and for the price I paid, this was so worth it. The chicken tacos were so good and served with traditional street fare (cilantro and grilled onions). Unlike other places where you're charged for a pepper, I was also provided a grilled pepper that just helped the meal even more. I could tell that each of the flavors were present and the sauces accentuated the dish. For dessert, I had Flan Napolitano. It was so light and at the end I was tempted to lick my fingers and grab more of the caramelization at the bottom. I'll definitely be back again to try other desserts and drinks! read more

Fantastic little taqueria! Short hit: really, really good. I was craving gorditas and in my search, found this place is only 5 minutes from where I work. What drew me in is that this place is a taqueria, as well as a tortilleria (makes their own tortillas). I'm always a little disappointed when I see places take tortillas out of a bag and throw them on the griddle to warm them up. So many places do this that I can't really penalize them, but for the places that make their tortillas fresh, the tacos/gorditas just taste that much better. On my first trip, I got two gorditas: barbacoa and al pastor. The al pastor was well-marinated and the barbacoa was as tender as could be. The fresh masa was very apparent and made the gorditas 5/5 stars. At $2.99 a pop, this is one of the best lunch deals around. On my second trip, I got a carne asada gordita and opted to try a chicken taco as well. The gordita was again, excellent. The chicken taco I got as I was trying to be a little healthier (instead of getting barbacoa or something like that). The meat was so flavorful and well-seasoned! The salsas that are in the fridge or on the table are all excellent. Just enough heat to wake up your tastebuds, but won't make you ask for a glass of milk. I plan on getting the horchata eventually, but for now, I am washing these down with topo chico. All in all, this place is a great value and the staff is very friendly and attentive. It goes a long way if you can speak some Spanish, but you can get by in English if that's all you can do. See you on Taco Tuesday. read more

I had my hopes up because of the good ratings that they had, but it just didn't pan out. I ordered beef tacos hoping that I would get something familiar. The beef was not good at all. Maybe someone should say in the advertising that it's not Tex-Mex. The guy at the order counter was very nice and they served us quickly. It's a small place, nothing fancy. It was a bit warm inside. DON'T make the same mistake I did. I was in town and had heard about the famous artisanal Mexican restaurant with organic tortillas. I walked in and was told they don't make tortillas (but their logo has tortelleria and YELP mentions house-made tortillas). I then ordered their famous cacao atol only to be served champurrado. The food was nothing to rave about. I checked google once again and turns out I was not in the right location. The REAL tortilleria and restaurant was behind this one.
