I'm basically a regular at Fuzzy's at this point. I go here all the time because I'm obsessed with the tempura shrimp taco and the steak fajita taco. I eat them all the time and never have any complaints. I got a frozen margarita with tajin on the rim and it did not disappoint. I love coming to this Fuzzy's because I always get great service. The shrimps in the Tempura Shrimp taco were super tender and well seasoned! I was pleasantly surprised by the quality since this is a casual joint. The interior is spacious and whimsically decorated to create a colorful, seaside ambiance that is still undeniably Texan. The patio has ample covered space with fans for the Texas heat. Usually pretty consistently above average, but my last visit it was average. The queso was room temperature and kind of thick and there was barely any seasoning on the chips. The ground beef tacos were great with the garlic sauce. But the shredded chicken taco was dry. The enchiladas were not hot as well. Just had a delivery from Fuzzy, and really wasn't satisfied with the food here. I got a ground beef burrito and the burrito felt like it was poorly home cooked by someone who clearly has no idea about Mexican food. I don't understand why there were peas in the burrito and the onions were semi-raw. Cheese felt like those artificial cheese you buy from any grocery stores. They just throw in some avocado pieces inside like a sandwich, and randomly sliced tomatoes. It didn't taste or felt like your normal burrito, it was more like a quick made sandwich like the one's your mom quickly makes for your school lunch with no flavor what so ever. I have done to go several times now and every time the meal is different. I get the same exact thing every time a taco salad. The first time great taco salad, fresh lettuce lots of cheese, love the pico, no issues. Second time, same order a taco salad, this time no pico, really sad because I love the cilantro and onion mix so it was only OK. Third time same salad but this time there was no cheese at all on the salad some onions but not the same pico mix and the lettuce look like it had been frozen (you know how it gets that weird look and texture when frozen and thawed). Fuzzys usually isn't my favorite taco shop because I feel like it's just average tacos and it's a little pricey for one taco honestly. But it was national taco day and I had to come in for the $1 tacos. Not all of the tacos were a $1 but most of them were. I came in around lunch time and I was surprised that the line wasn't as long as it usually is. I got their around 12 and only had to wait about 20mins so it wasn't that bad. I got two fish tempura tacos and two ground beef tacos. I personally wasn't a fan of the ground beef but the fish tacos weren't that bad. 4 tacos for $4 isn't a bad deal at all! I also recommend asking for the avocado ranch because that stuff is so good! They also have pretty good margs here and they're aren't crazy expensive either. Overall it's not that bad, but there is definitely better taco places! read more

I love Fuzzy's. But something about this day when I went in and ordered their breakfast tacos, bacon potato eggs and cheese it was just okay. For one, I will say, I've never had a bad experience at Fuzzy's, however this time around the quality was off. One taco had no bacon (sad face) and the other taco one strip of bacon that was barely cooked. I do not like complaining at all. So I just ate them, however I was really sad because the tacos where not even hot. Just warm. Any who, the beer is always amazing, So no complaints there. They have the cold beer mugs, so be sure to ask for one if you ordered a beer that comes in a bottle. Customer service is always friendly here and its always clean! This place is truly a bang for the buck and i Will be making another trip back, hopefully it was just this one time. read more

These were good but I had better enchiladas. The oreo churros stole the show and were the saving grace. Despite all that service was excellent. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Spent $30 for nachos and salad just a few moments ago and at BEST it's worth $10. The workers were peeved to be there. This place has gone down hill fast. They also make sure you can't call when they put NOTHING on your nachos by taking the phone off the hook. They will still cash their paychecks but I'm done paying for it. There were a decent amount of people here around early dinner time, but the line moved fast and so did our order! Most of the tacos except the shrimp were included in this special, so I got 2 fish tacos and just opted to pay normal price for a grilled shrimp one. Yum! You get exactly what you pay for, very simple toppings -- lettuce, cilantro, cheese, pico and your choice of meat on a corn or flour tortilla. Their hot sauce on the table wasn't overly spicy but tasted good enough to pour it on to add a little kick to your meal. Also, their happy hour is a steal for beer and margs! I had the pleasure of being invited out for dinner by my cousin and his fiancé. We went to Fuzzy's in Carrollton. It was a memorable dining experience. We were greeted by a young man named Voice as we entered. He asked how we were doing and if we'd had a good day. It only got better from there. None of us were familiar with the menu. Voice patiently took the time to tell us what ingredients came on what items. I had the tacos and cilantro lime rice. My cousin had beef fajitas and his fiance had the grilled shrimp salad. It was absolutely delicious. The store was clean. Our order was made exactly as we requested. My family and I visited and Voice swept through the dining room asking how everything was. He is one of the most delightful people I've met in a while--and I managed a Taco Bell back in the day. All I have to say is, "Voice, your customer service and people skills are spot on.
