EVERYTHING about this place was terrible. From the beginning, it took our waitress a long time to come get our drink order. Asked for water for everyone and an horchata. Waitress assumed our kids weren't getting anything to drink and we had to correct that order after she only brought out a water and an horchata. Food took at least 45 mins to come out and when it did, it was cold. Ordered 2 chicharron tacos and only got 1. The one we did get had one piece of chicharron in it. Asked the waitress to take both chicharron tacos off of our check. When the receipt came out, it had extra charges (different than the ones on the menu) and $2.50 for "small refreshment". When I asked her what that charge was, she had no explanation and said she would take it off the receipt. Will not be going back! Check your receipt. I should have checked other reviews before going since this seems like common practice for them.

This is one of the newer additions to Keller's taco scene. The food here is more variety than just tacos. The atmosphere is Ill-fated attempt at decorating. It seemed is though they mainly attracted a working-class clientele. I came here on two separate occasions first time I ordered enormous and delicious breakfast burritos (these I highly recommend!) The second time we tried pozole and tacos. The pozole fell short, but the tacos were good. Taco Chon and Jalapeños is better. I would return, but only for breakfast.

Excellent huevos rancheros, and very reasonably priced. The side of ham was a bit extra, but definitely worth it. They have lots of other options available as well. I saw another table order some of the burritos, and they were massive. I'll definitely be back to try more!

Been looking for authentic Mexican food and I have finally found it! The place is very clean and nicely decorated. The coffee and horchata was outstanding I highly suggest it! I enjoyed my chilaquiles and my husband loved his carne asada sopes and pastor tacos! The service was good and they have great prices! Will be coming here again.

Clean and wide open space. But not the greatest food in my opinion. The server didn't speak any english so my friend had to translate all conversation between us.

Rating: 2 stars Return: No. Change the price or put meat on the sandwich. Overly priced and sad considering high hopes for area mexican food. *this is a new restaurant, a new small business. In consideration of this, I understand the waitresses won't know the menu. Management needs to work on this. Cons: I would be embarrassed serving this pathetic Torta to my friends or family. It's seems like they don't have the drive to serve a decent sandwich. This is Texas. Mexican food is a competitive cuisine. The cooks don't care and it shows. They didn't try to spread the avocado or lettuce on the bun. Sprinkled meat on top of the smallest amount of beans/mayo. I paid $9.24 for a Bread Torta with a side of carne asada. It was so dry I stopped at QT for a drink. I feel scammed for coming here. The sandwich comes with fries as well. I received 15 fries. This place don't look all shiny and new but the food they are putting out is delicious and take it from me I am very picky about my street tacos and these were delicious. Taco salad with chicken was delicious .Agua fresco jiamaca was the bomb. It's a keeper for sure! Make sure you stop in.

Lacking flavor all around. The rice and beans, which are a staple on most of the dishes, didn't have much in the way of flavor (and the beans were not very warm, not warm enough to melt the little bit of cheese they put on top). We got the flautas - the chicken did not taste like it was seasoned at all... and the flautas were only partially filled so the ends were nothing but fried tortillas - and the chicken closest to the ends was also fried crispy (but not in a good way). And huevos con choriso - lots of eggs but only flavoring seemed to be from the choriso. was missing a creamy element (avocado slices or something). The green salsa they provided tasted off somehow. And a birra taco - first time trying birra so hard to say if it was good or not but would have to say it was only okay. The tortilla chips looked like they were bagged chips and were stale. Don't plan on being back - a lot of other mexican food/taco places around that have better flavor read more

I previously gave this place a 5 star rating and unfortunately I retract my previous statement. I visit frequently and my experience today was absolutely frustrating! I'm aware that many small businesses are hitting hard times, however this place is starting to go downhill. I stopped in and asked for a simple order of street tacos, 2 orders of flautas and tamarindo to go. I patiently waited nearly 40 minutes and the tacos came out. When I asked when about the 2 orders of flautas, they asked if I'd paid for them. My response was yes, you charged me upfront. I waited nearly another 20 minutes and only 1 order came out. When I asked about the 2nd order, everyone looked confused. By this point, I'd started to lose my patience. Instead of trying to make it right, they simply shrugged their shoulders at me. I placed an order to bring home to my family and I was now an order short, so what does that mean... I gave my dinner to one of the kids and ended up making a sandwich. To top it off, they didn't even give me the tamarindo which added insult to injury. I was once a regular.... NOT ANYMORE! read more

Service is slow, I had the steak fajitas or should I say the over cooked steak fajitas. My server was fantastic even though he didn't speak much English and I didn't speak much Spanish, so it's definitely an authentic environment. However the steak fajitas were horrible, The meat was overcooked, and really chewy, you know how when you get cheaper beef you get those strands of fat and gristle? That's The meat, later actually I use a strains to floss my teeth so I guess it did come in handy!! three tortillas (shouldn't tortillas be in an even number? What if you were sharing this meal with a friend) 20 bucks for steak fajitas, glass of water and a tip. ( lunch menu) Overpriced. read more

Ok I'm not sure why people are writing bad reviews. To be honest, I was skeptical bc of the reviews but this place is legit. If your not used to homemade authentic food don't come here. But that's your loss. This hole in the wall is pretty dang good! The pozole is on point. The gorditas, sopes, quesadillas, and flautas were amazing! I almost forgot the shrimp cocktail was pretty dang good too. I would definitely try this place out bc you won't be disappointed. read more

I dont care what the reviews say, if you like authentic this is the place. Im from northside fort worth meaning i know good mexican food and THIS is the good stuff. Servers are kind and food came out in a timely manner. Much to my surprise, after trying the food, It was pretty empty. I can almost guarantee its because the people in this area dont like authentic but i can tell you the BIRRIA IS SOOOOO GOOOODDD!!!!! Ambiance is chill, just a regular mexican restaurant. You all really need to come here and order the birria. The rice was also very fluffy and flavorful and beans were good the salsa was also very good definitely a nice kick to it read more

Absolutely terrible food it takes allot for me to write a bad review, I would not recommend this place. I walked in sat down hate when the table is attached to the wall so you can't move it. That was the first thing next they bring chips and salsa the salsa I am not kidding wasn't more than 2 oz. it was in a tiny ramekin that you couldn't even fit a chip in. Next the server came up with a menu that had water all over it , it was paper so I couldn't read it. I asked for another one. Any how once I viewed the menu I realized it was pretty over priced for Mexican food, I asked the server if the made the shrimp cocktail in the big glass in the tomato broth as I didn't see it on the menu. She no sorry they don't have that so any how I ordered Pozole , after 25 minute wait it finally came, a big bowl, was a nice size for $11, well until I dug in, first they gave you less than a teaspoon of cilantro and onion and 2 slices of lime cut so thin they were dried and had no juice in them, next I tasted the broth it basically tasted like water NO FLAVOR, well I stirred it and I swear to god there was 2 pieces of pork the size of a teaspoon and was mostly all fat. It was basically a bowl of water and hominy. Just terrible so I left it , and went to pay the bill, as I was walking out some guy was eating a huge margarita glass full of the shrimp cocktail the server told me they didn't make. Never again !!!! read more

This place never seems to disappoint and the only reason I keep coming back is it saves the gas of going to Fort Worth to get good tacos. A couple times I ordered like door dash or Uber eats they shorted me a couple tacos. They fill their salsa cups like a quarter of the way up like in this picture. And on todays order I've learned they clearly don't pay attention to the notes. I got menudo and asked for hominy (which menudo should come with as a default) and oregano and chopped serranos both of which I didn't receive. Shocker. read more

I really want to like this place. I was so excited to see this restaurant opened because we need more authentic Mexican restaurants in the area. However, I was really disappointed. My husband ordered tacos which looked and tasted just okay, and I was craving menudo. Upon ordering, he was told they had no menudo (which I think is overly priced) but then miraculously they said they had some left. Weird. I also wanted a side order of warm flour tortillas to dip in my menudo but they were hard and literally the texture of a cracker. Therefore, no soft, warm tortillas i could roll up. I really want to try this place again but very, very hesitant. I hope they can learn from the reviews and put more heart and soul into the quality of their food they serve. read more

Waited 25 minutes for my food, three different servers asked me if I wanted anything else. It was a freaking menudo!!! They never brought my food to the table and had to pay 2.50 or so for a Diet Coke. Service sucked! If could give them a -5 I'll do it. read more

I also wasn't checked on to make sure I enjoyed the food, and I had to flag the server down for my check. I was expecting this place to be better.

Vaquero's is what they really eat. These kinds of tortillas can only be made by the old grandmother's in Mexico, who have never been to the US, and never plan on going. These tortillas here are obviously grown in house on a Metate (ok, I had to look that up), And the meats taste like they are marinated for days, in order to taste like this. My favorite is the Alambre Burrito. If you accidentally order something else in addition to the Burrito, you will probably be taking it home. And when you take home your Taco's, don't forget to take the chips with you. The chips are also obviously made in house, and fried in Lard before coming to every table.

Food is always good and was great to re-visit this place. It's a small taqueria, not much seating inside. Family-owned and the service is friendly, and the food is consistently good. Ambiance is lacking, but that's not the reason to go...go for tacos!

They're happy to see us a make me us feel special, great service top to bottom. The place is different than other breakfast joints, since it has the Cajun atmosphere. The food has a Cajun influence. It's one of the few places that you can get fish & grits with your egg. The specialty drinks are really good but expensive. The parking is better than I've never had to wait too long to get in and get seated.. it's a really interesting & great place if you wanna take an out of towner out for breakfast.. Of course the big question is would I go back. it's been answered eight times..

Everything was perfect; the cheese was amazing. Reminds me of a special pizza tavern on college campus I once enjoyed decades ago, in the 1970s. Cannot wait for tomorrow's leftovers. As far as buffets go, this was 10 out of 10. They had a wide variety of dishes to try, more than other restaurants that I have tried of the size. Most are typical things you would find at a Indian restaurant or buffet, but they had a few items that I've never tried that were amazing. There was also soup, dessert, and a tea that was part of the buffet plus the bread and the appetizer they brought out for us. This restaurant made me a honorary member of the clean your plate club! I can't wait to go back again when I'm over in the area.

Simply put we ordered way too much food today. Their Chicken wings are huge...meaty. I'm not a fan of wings that are as heavily breaded as these were. The buffalo wings for instance were ok. Nothing special. Same with the lemon pepper. The Asian style wings with "fish oil" were our least favorite. The Creamy crab egg rolls were delicious and unique. The chicken eggs rolls were ok. I'm on the hunt for egg rolls that are stuffed with cabbage. These, like the chicken wings are little too heavy on the breading. The Garlic Noodles are sooooo good. Tasty with the right amount of spice. The Kim Chi "stew" was tasty.

Taqueria Las Mulas is an absolute gem! I ordered the birria tacos with beans, rice, and the rich broth on the side -- everything was incredible. The tacos were loaded with tender, flavorful meat, perfectly seasoned, and crispy on the outside just the way birria should be. The broth was savory and full of depth, the perfect dip to bring it all together. Even the beans and rice were packed with flavor and made the plate feel complete.
