The service was amazing, so sweet and helpful. I wasn't sure what to get and she recommended me the horchata which was really good. I got the tacos de lengua, tripas, and asada. All were delicious. Definitely recommend going here.

First off, every visit here I've been met with excellent and kind customer service! Appreciate the friendly employees! Fast food style ordering and ambiance with authentic restaurant-style food. I ordered the 2 sopes combination and it was fresh and hot and delicious. It is fun to try different meats on different occasions. Today. thr asada was my favorite. Such a comfort food! They moved and updated their salsa bar. My favorite salsa from the bar to pair with my meal was the salsa verde! Such good flavor! I also really enjoy their pickled veggies. There are bags near the checkout area to load up on veggies and limes to-go. A squeeze of lime on top of my sopes was also so good! Will revisit :-)

Service is hit or miss. I come here for their chicken crispy tacos. They were out of chicken and informed after we were done ordering. I almost canceled our whole order if it wasn't for my Chile relleno special. Tables and restrooms need to be checked on more often. A few of the girls working in the evenings need some training in customer service. Tip: The crispy chicken tacos are a must try here. The restaurant is kept pretty cool. Bring a sweater if you dine in.

What a great find! Quality/Quantity - Beef Mini Burrito & Pork Enchilada Combo - No beans (for the safety of all) and doubled the rice with no extra charge, thank you. Both flavors were good, but the spicy red salsa took this dish to the next level! Also had generous portions. Small salsa bar, but fresh. Good combo menu, actually too many to choose from which is not a complaint. Also see other a la carte menu. Atmosphere - Cool small local taqueria. Cool art. Indoor seating or drive thru, looks like this used to be an old Del Taco? Plenty of parking. Open 6 days a week from 9am or 9:30am to 9pm. See picture, Yelp's hours differ. Service - Excellent. They were patient as we were first time customers and did not know what to order. Price - $12 + generous tip. Owner Suggestion - Congrats on your success and can't wait to come back again.

3 taquitos with shredded beef, 2 al pastor tacos

Went again today, once again food was spectacular, the people were super friendly and helpful, and it was an overall amazing experience. Would highly recommend.

Taqueria Los 3 Toritos is the perfect spot to get some authentic Mexican tacos. I ordered the carne asada tacos and they were DELICIOUS! They were packed full of meat and the beans and rice were also really good! Conveniently, they have a drive through. So it makes for a quick place to grab a delicious lunch.

The four horsemen of tacos. Lengua, Carnitas, Chorizo, Shredded Beef.

Another #thegreattacotrek lunch in Reno at Taqueria Los 3 Toritos on Siverada Boulevard, next to KFC. I have been here a couple times before for breakfast burritos and enjoyed them. This was my first time for lunch, and they had a lot of meat selections! The tacos are all street taco size, filled with just the right amount of meat and veggies, so about two-three bites each. Every single taco had a killer flavor, with awesome sauces. Staff was very nice even though they were in full lunch rush. I really enjoyed the tacos and the sauces were a perfect match for each one. I had Lengua, Carnitas, Chorizo and Shredded Beef. Only negative, one lady in the kitchen with mask pulled below the nose...#notcool

Chips and salsa!

Taqueria Los 3 Toritos was really good! We ordered a side of chips and salsa, the chips were made fresh to order and came out hot and crispy! Our usual go to for all Mexican restaurants is a bean and cheese burrito with rice, and this burrito did not disappoint. My husband ordered his "wet" and I had mine dry. We shared them both and they were equally delicious, with a good ratio of beans and cheese. The cheese was actually melted inside the burrito and the burrito was super hot. The salsa was also very good, a little spicy but great flavor. I like how they have a little side bar with different salsas, limes and escabeche. The service was very friendly even though they were very busy at the time we came in. The restaurant was very clean. I will definitely be back.

Damn, I have not had sopes this good in ages!! Aside from tacos, one of my most favorite fast/street mexican foods are sopes. I've tried them all over town but people miss the mark, some leave out the beans or the crema or the queso fresco or something that just makes it incomplete and blah. Not Los 3 Toritos though! They were so good, I came back just days apart (Sunday and today, Tuesday). I had 3 chicken sopes, extremely filling. The chicken was perfectly cooked and seasoned. This all was on top of a sope de masa made just right (not too hard not too soft) and una "embarrada de frijoles" (smeared on beans). The topping including fresh and crisp lettuce, crema, queso fresco, onions and some cilantro (also a slice of tomato but I eat it separately). Top it off with their green salsa and bam, heavenly goodness. Their carnitas and al pastor tacos are also legit, my daughter loves both of them. This is by far a new "local favorite" pick for me.

Shredded beef wet burrito

We heard from some friends that this place was good and thought we would try it. My wife and I came here about 2:30 pm on a Friday for our weekly lunch date. Inside there are about 10 booths and a few tables. It was not very busy. We went up to the counter, checked out the menu board and asked some questions. My wife chose a shredded beef chimichanga and I chose a shredded beef wet burrito. We had a seat and waited for our order number to be called. My wife use the restroom and commented on the overall cleanliness. In a short while our order number was called and we picked up our orders at the counter. They looked really good! We quickly dove into our meals since we were having a late lunch, they were delicious. Overall this was a great experience and we would highly recommend. It's kind of surprising it took us so long to find this place. We plan to go back to try their breakfast burritos!

Taco combo (minus one because I couldn't resist).

This is such a cozy and unique restaurant. Everything we ordered was something I had never tried before. We started with cocktails. They have a big variety of margaritas, beer, and other signature drinks. For our appetizers we ordered the blue corn bread which is served on a mini cast iron skillet. This corn bread is sweet, but also has some spicy chili flavor. We shared the fish ceviche with tuna. It was so fresh and the flavors were out of this world. Tangy, sour, a little spicy. For my main I went with the special for that weekend which was the Sea Bass. So flaky and buttery. It was served on top of a kind of fried rice. Overall great experience here. I would prepare for a 2hr experience so that you can enjoy all meals equally!

The numerous booths were cute, but really too small for four people. there were quite a few larger tables for eight or 10 people. Four four , It's a lot of cozy togetherness, which is probably fine for a family, but not for other circumstances. The halibut entrée was very good. The short ribs were kind of average. The other two guests were mixed in their review of the entrées as well. Our our server was super nice , attentive and knowledgeable - while he was with us - but would disappear for long periods of time such that we had to get up to get their attention several times to get additional items. The restaurant was not particularly crowded, but there was something going on at another nearby table - perhaps a VIP, family friends or owner (?) that attracted a gathering of several servers for long periods of time, so it was hard to get our servers attention. I'd be surprised if that was a common scenario, but it happened while we were there. Ambient noise was fine . Prices were on the higher side for my expectation, but the presentation was very nice. It was pretty good, would probably do 3 1/2 stars if I could, but it definitely isn't equal to the various four stars I've rated locally.

First off, huge shoutout to the staff at both locations. Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful. We had a group of about 12 showing up and ordering at different times, plus another large party there, and they handled it all really well. The patio has such a great Midtown vibe, and I'm always happy supporting local small businesses. We ordered a little bit of everything: ribeye gorditas with homemade tortillas, street tacos, quesadillas, loaded papas, elote, and I even attempted the AYCE tacos. The carnitas was some of my favorite in town, the guac was delicious, and my friend loved the skirt steak tacos. Plus, the three salsas they serve are all so good. Mexcal is a taco joint serving up elevated tacos that you can order one by one. These things are loaded up with protein and toppings, and they do not skimp on the portions! The flavor combinations are absolutely unreal, and I love that they have some unique protein options, too. I tried the duck confit, the spicy lamb, and the short rib tacos. My dad ordered the al pastor and quesabirria tacos. We both agreed that the short rib was our favorite. Tender short rib in a delicious sauce topped with fresh guac. Fantastic! I was also shocked by how much duck they loaded up the duck confit taco with. That was probably my second favorite. Super tender duck with tons of flavor. The vibe here is casual, but it can be a nice, elevated date night spot. I really enjoy that you can order one or two tacos and then order more if you're still hungry.
