    Super burrito Al Pastor
    Victor V.

After a really fun day of day drinking,I found myself looking for something yummy to eat and maybe sober me up a bit-I stumbled upon this little unassuming place located right across the street from Silver Legacy-Los Gallos Taqueria. Upon walking in,I was impressed with the patrons, this was a no frills crowd who looked like they were all in on a secret that this place was going to be a really good foodie spot. This is one of those spots where u walk up and order at the counter and they bring your food out to you.I loved the decor as you can really tell the owners are proud of their Jalisco roots. As an added bonus-I do tend to like taquerias that have pics of the menu items on the walls-always been a good luck charm for me that the place would be pretty good. We ordered a few things-A Super Burrito with Al Pastor($13.50)-it was pretty tasty-way way filling-killed my buzz totally-which I guess was the goal-I'd order it again for sure.We Also got a Shrimp taco($5)My wife is from Jalisco,so kinda picky with her Mexican food but she thought it was pretty tasty-one of the most flavorful tacos she has had in a long time.We also got the 2 enchilada plate with ground beef and chicken($15.50)-This dish came with rice and bean-I really liked the rice quite a bit and beans went well with the chips because of the added cheese on the beans. One thing I didn't love was the fact that you had to pay for chips and salsa-I'm sure I'm just spoiled from all the places that gives those out for free but I guess that's the way it goes-pretty sure it was like $3-no biggie. In closing-if u ever find yourself in Reno and u want something other than the commercial stuff they sell in the casinos-I would highly recommend walking across the street from Silver Legacy and walk into this little hole in the wall hidden gem of a restaurant and enjoy yourself a taste of Jalisco -you won't be disappointed.

Our go to taqueria when in town. We usually stay across the street at SL. VIP highly recommended this place and from day 1, they have been AMAZING! The super burritos and tacos are always a hit! Whether you get carne asada, pastor, carnitas ....omg, they are full of flavor and big! Oh, let's not forget salsas, always on point. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Service. Always friendly, fast, and always clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Highly recommended! They have a large menu. So much to choose from, I may have to try something different next time.

Hands down my favorite taqueria ever!!!! Omg ! So I'm from the bay , SF 4 me n San Jo 4 my man . We were looking for Mexican food on our handy dandy Yelp and came across this place which is right across the street from where we're staying. We went over there with not high expectations. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Place was packed with locals, so that sounded promising.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We ordered based on the yelp reviews a pastor super burrito wet with green sauce and a super burrito wet with red sauce. Both were incredible. So damn delicious. It was so good I'm coming back tomorrow to take burritos home on the way home. Absolutely delicious the sauce was fire the meat was tender and perfectly seasoned. One of the best burritos we ever had and we're coming from the bay so you know that shit serious. This is going to be our must stop whenever ever in Reno. They didn't give us chips that's an extra charge, however they did give us a couple sauces for our burrito. Yum Yum

We were waiting for it to be 3 to check in at the silver legacy and decided to get some lunch and found this place from the great views and it did not disappoint the service was fast the workers and the owner are so lovely and love what they do to fill our belly with authentic Mexican food, food was so flavorful and portion size was good and very affordable... Would definitely come back when we come visit again

Seen a review on yelp and thought we would try it. Walking distance from El Dorado right next to Circus Circus. I Cannot recommend this place enough - service was quick and friendly. Staff cleaned tables as soon as customers left. --But the food, was so good. I got the chimichanga with grilled chicken. It comes with rice and beans in it. I'm not a big rice and big fan-But this was so good!! Don't let the price scare you away. It was worth every bit of it. And it was huge!! I took 3/4 of it back to eat later my husband got the green wet burrito and he said it was very good. He had half of it to take back home. I'm really contemplating trying to go there again before we leave from our trip. Highly recommend. You won't regret it!

This placed saved us, and our wallet! We were sick of walking the casinos and trying to find a decent restaurant, when we decided to look elsewhere, outside of the hotel area. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Just across the way we found this small but comfortable Mexican restaurant that took great care of us.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Their food was delicious, I'd highly recommend the tostadas! If you're looking to take a break from the busyness of the casinos, go here!

Best secret across from the Silver Legacy- hot, yummy and won't break the bank. This tastes like authentic Mexican food. Our go to place when we are in Reno.

Authentic Mexican restaurant in downtown Reno across the street from casino. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Reasonable prices, modest interior, friendly service.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We shared a shrimp burrito which was delicious. They even wrapped up each half separately for us. Will definitely go back next time I'm in this part of town.

    Large menudo

This place is a hidden gem. The definition of a mom and pop restaurant. I came here for breakfast and ordered the menudo. It was absolutely delicious. They allowed me to order it with a mix of corn and flour tortillas. It also came with a tray of chips and salsa. The bowl of deliciousness didn't smell funky and the meat was melt in your mouth tender. I will be sure to remember this place for future trips to Reno.

    Chile Relleno, w/rice and beans

My husband and I were very hungry and tired of spending mega money on subpar food at the casinos. Stumbled across the Taqueria and could not have been more pleased. The service was quick and easy as you order at the counter and take a number. The food was exceptional. The rice and beans were seasoned to perfection with authentic Mexican flavor!! The chili relleno were homemade not from a can, which is hard to find!

Very friendly staff, order at the back register and then take a seat at whichever table, they give you a number to place on your table. They bring out your food as it's ready. Complimentary salsa & chips, homemade and fresh! The portions are huge and pricing is very fair. Very authentic dishes, great flavors, HUGE portions! The super burrito is seriously super in size. Very casual, very humble, not a fancy place at all, with great food.

We always hit this place for food when staying at Circus Circus. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The traditional Mexican ambience with great food and service.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It has never let us down yet

Ok. This will be a quick one and for those of you who tried this place will know. I would like to say... I am craving for you - soft taco lengua and cheese quesadilla! The service is fast. Order up at the front. They'll give you a number and you find a spot to sit. They'll serve you free chips and dip. It's warm and toasty. You're not even finished with the appetizer and your food is already being served. I love how the lengua is so soft and melts in your mouth. Oh my!!!! I'm literally craving for it right now! Haha. The ambiance inside is ok. The music and or the tv is not loud. You can relax while you're eating too. But for us it's a quick in and out. We went around lunch time and it was uhm ok I think. The people kind of I don't know how to say it. Lol. It's as if we're aliens eating in a taqueria. Hahaha. So to dine in again, maybe not. The parking, you have to park on the side street. Or you can park up front but only 2 cars can park. To top it all, I will go back and order their food again and will try the other ones on their menu. Because why not specially the food is really good!

Great food and service. Chile Relleno.

First off, huge shoutout to the staff at both locations. Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful. We had a group of about 12 showing up and ordering at different times, plus another large party there, and they handled it all really well. The patio has such a great Midtown vibe, and I'm always happy supporting local small businesses. We ordered a little bit of everything: ribeye gorditas with homemade tortillas, street tacos, quesadillas, loaded papas, elote, and I even attempted the AYCE tacos. The carnitas was some of my favorite in town, the guac was delicious, and my friend loved the skirt steak tacos. Plus, the three salsas they serve are all so good. Tacos are always subjective, but I'd absolutely recommend giving Ana's a try because there's something for everyone on the menu. The cocktails are fun too, and I'll definitely be back.

Rarely do I write a review after just 1 visit, but I'm making an exception for this little gem!…read more I've known of this place for years, but never stopped in before. I was glad that I did finally drop in. Located in a little strip mall on Valley Road, it's an unassuming place from the outside. The inside is small, but comfortable and it felt very "homey". When I walked in, the first thing that hit me was the smell of delicious food wafting through the air. The tastes did not disappoint. We were greeted and sat promptly by a personable young man that brought us water. The owner then brought us our drinks...a margarita for my dining companion and a Mandarin Jarritos for me. My sip of the margarita tasted amazing! Great balance and flavor. We also received a basket of chips and salsa. You could tell that they were made fresh to order. The chips were crispy and hot. The salsa was outstanding...fresh cilantro...balanced combination of flavors with a nice, subtle kick of spiciness at the back end. Not too spicy...just right. I usually have to ask for something hotter...not in this case. The food was amazing! My dining companion ordered the Chile Relleno plate and I got the Molcajete. The prices are outstanding and the amount of food? Huge plates! My Molcajete was sizzling hot and overflowing with chicken, beef, shrimp, nopales and ground beef mixed with veggies. A large plate of refried beans and spanish rice also accompanied this presentation. Fresh, hot, delicious corn tortillas rounded out each of our orders. We were also given a couple of squeeze bottles of sauces...green and red...to add to our meals if we wanted. Freshly made and the bottles were presented in a plastic tub filled with ice to keep them cold. Great addition to the already amazing food! There's also a nice selection of Mexican hot sauces on the table for you to choose from. We both took to-go boxes...so much food! Mine lasted for 2 more meals! I plan to return on a regular basis...this is now one of my favorite local places for great Mexican food. As always, I suggest that you visit to see what YOU think...
